she wasn't just pretty.
she's otherworldly and vaguely threatening

HAWKS WOKE UP TO AN EMPTY BED. The blonde groaned inaudibly, sitting up and stretching his wings. His heightened hearing picked up on the sound of giggles coming from the kitchen, and a smile stretched across his face as he recalled the amazing night he had with his boyfriend and the blue-haired girl that managed to capture his heart in a tight, frosty grip.

Climbing out of bed, he made his way to the bathroom, completing his morning routine before grabbing a pair of boxers and sweatpants from his shared closet. Hawks exited the bedroom feeling refreshed. Last night had been the best night ever.

"Morning," he greeted, spotting Serena cooking breakfast with Dabi hugging her from behind, his head in her neck. The bluenette brightened up, glancing over at the blonde who walked up to them with a lazy grin on his face.

"Morning," she smiled, returning back to the food in the pan. She was making pancakes, knowing that Hawks had been craving them. The blonde pressed a kiss to her temple, his lips lingering before capturing his boyfriend's lips with his own.

"Whatcha making?" Hawks asked, moving over to the counter and making his coffee.

"Pancakes," Dabi answered, resuming his previous position. He was, like Hawks, only wearing sweatpants and boxers while Serena wore one of his shirts, liking the way it smelt of him. Serena continued pouring in the batter and flipping over the fluffy circles once they were cooked enough on one side.

Hawks stared at them as he poured coffee, his mind replaying last night over and over again. They had taken Serena's virginity in both holes. Hawks recalled how tight she felt, how high her voice went every time she moaned. He bit his lips as he remembered the sound of their names rolling off her tongue like velvet, the look on her face as she climaxed. It was so pleasurable, and all he wanted to do was to take her again, right against the counter. He wanted to see her face contour into those sensual expressions again.

As he ruminated over the events of last night, Hawks didn't notice his cup was overflowing with coffee until it landed on his foot. He yelped, jumping back at the unexpected burning feeling. His eyes grew wide at the sight of the whole counter being covered with coffee, the smell asphyxiating the area.

"You okay, birdy?" Dabi asked, turning around to see the blonde hurry to get some tissues. Amusement shone in his eyes, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.

"Never better!" Hawks replied, trying desperately to wipe up the coffee. Serena chuckled as she turned around to see the blonde panicking. She handed the pan to Dabi, telling him to flip the pancakes while she helped Hawks clean up. The bluenette activated her quirk and dipped her finger in the liquid, watching as it all froze instantly.

"I think we should ban you from the kitchen," she chuckled, grabbing the frozen liquid and dumping it into the sink, increasing the temperature and watching as the coffee slipped into the drain. "You always make a mess," Serena added with a teasing smile on her face. Hawks pouted as she directed him to the table, forcing him to sit and wait as she and Dabi finished off breakfast. Serena remade the coffee while Dabi finished off the pancakes, stacking them onto one plate and placing it on the breakfast table. Serena brought over the chocolate spread, pancake syrup and some blueberries and strawberries that she knew would pair well with the pancakes.

A light conversation commenced between the three. It was evident that last night was the icebreaker they didn't know they needed. The three felt safe and comfortable. Trust filled all their hearts, even the villainous criminal.

Following their tranquil breakfast, Dabi and Serena cleaned up while Hawks went to put on a movie after the latter kicked him out of the kitchen, afraid that he'd do something stupid that would result in the spoiling of their peaceful day.

Serena sat in between the males, resting her legs over Hawks' lap as she leant against Dabi on the couch. She was very sore, the pain licking at her thighs mainly, though she did have a few bruises and hickeys littered on her body — not that she minded. Serena loved it when they were rough with her, which did surprise the two, though they were more than happy to comply with her needy demands.

Dabi laced their fingers together, pressing tender kisses to her shoulder, nibbling on the skin. He felt like the area was still bare. He wanted her whole body to be covered in the hickeys he gave her, to let everyone know that she was his and only his — well, and Hawks'.

"You've got tiny hands," drawled Dabi, his eyes trained onto the hand currently locked with his. They were considerably smaller, though, they fit perfectly when entwined with his. Serena's eyes twitched in annoyance as Hawks lifted the hand he had laced his with, a cheeky grin pulling at his lips.

"It's actually cute," the blonde said, bringing it closer and pressing a kiss to her knuckles.

"Yeah." Serena bit back a scowl. "They make things look bigger than they actually are," she added, not looking at them as she continued watching the film playing on the TV. The two males narrowed their eyes at her, knowing she was referring to last night when she gave them both handjobs and blowjobs — which she was a natural out. Dabi growled and bit down on her neck, watching as she yelped.

"H-Hey!"

He ignored her and turned to watch the film, smirking when he saw her glare at him. Hawks chuckled and shuffled in closer, lifting her legs up and moving to sit right by Dabi. Serena laid over them, not really minding the position.

They had her in many positions last night anyway.

A peaceful silence rested over them. They watched movies for the whole day, messing around and making out occasionally. Serena felt genuinely happy. She didn't care about their statuses in the world. She didn't care that she had sex with a villain, nor did she care that she had sex with the number three hero. To Serena, she made love to Hawks and Dabi. Two people that had her heart racing, that had her body ache with need, and had her mind filled with joy.

However, all good things must come to an end, and, in this case, their serene day was disturbed by a phone call from Hawks' agency.

"Boss! You're needed in Hosu!" said one of the hero's hired agents. Hawks sighed but told them that he would be there quickly. He got up and changed into his hero costume, eyes widening in surprise as Serena followed suit.

"What are you doing?" he asked, watching as she got out the metallic case with her number on it, lightly tracing her fingertips over the cool material.

"Getting my costume," Serena answered, smiling as she opened it up. "And yes, I am coming with you–" she rose her head, staring at the male dead in the eyes to show him that she was serious–"the whole point of this week was for me to learn something."

Dabi, who laid back on the couch, looking over at them, smirked. "Technically, you did learn a few things from us," he said, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Hero stuff, Dabi. Not sex," she said bluntly, watching as he rose his hands in mock surrender, his eyes shining bright with amusement and mischief.

Hawks sighed. Although he didn't want her to get hurt, he knew that this would be a vital training lesson for her. "Alright. But hurry up."

Serena felt a grin stretch across her face, happy that she wouldn't have to have a full argument with him. Activating her quirk, she froze time all around her. She stripped out of Dabi's shirt and slipped on new undergarments and then her costume. A content sigh escaped her lips, loving the feeling of the familiar texture on her skin. Serena walked over to the bathroom, making sure she looked presentable. She fixed her hair, taking her time as she knew that it was frozen.

Serena walked back to the living room, unfreezing time and standing to her full height in her hero costume. "Okay, let's go."

Hawks and Dabi stared at her in shock. "H-How?" The blonde questioned, only for Serena to chuckle.

"Time freeze quirk, remember?" Hawks made an 'o' shape with his mouth while Dabi's lips quirked upwards, resuming his infamous smirk. "So, we gonna go?" Serena asked, getting slightly impatient. Hawks chuckled, shaking off his shock. He lifted her off the ground in a bridal position. "What are you doing?"

"We're going to fly to Hosu."

With that, Hawks went on the balcony door and took to the sky, flapping his gigantic crimson wings. "You know, you're going to have to teach me how to fly one day."

Hawks hummed, holding onto the girl tightly as he zipped past building, dodging the birds already in the sky. "Flying's easy. Think of happy thoughts, and you'll fly."

Serena stared at the male blankly. "Isn't that a quote from Peter Pan?" Hawks bit back a smile, his keen eyes making sure they got to Hosu without getting lost. The gigantic human-bird hybrid had memorized Japan, knowing every route to take while in the sky.

"He's correct, though. Just believe. I'll teach you how to later. Right now, we've got to go save those people." Serena gasped in horror as she turned around, looking forward. In the distance, she could thick grey smoke billowing into the skies. A veil of darkness now shielded the once pale blue sky as smoke swallowed up the whole sky.

"Holy shit," she commented, her heart aching as the sound of the innocent civilians screams flooded the area, deafening the painful cries of the birds that flew away from the disastrous scene. The people's voices were laced with fear and panic, all wondering why such villainy would happen to them. A curse escaped Serena's lips as she caught sight of the familiar monstrous beast. "Nomus."

She glared down at the beasts and Hawks tightened his grip on the girl, swooping down closer to the ground, giving out an order to the girl, "Serena, you help evacuate the people."

At the serious tone of Hawks' voice, Serena knew not to go against him. So, she nodded and prepared herself as he dropped her, landing on the ground without hurting herself. With one glance towards each other, the two took off to do their own jobs.

"Hurry, you have to get out of here," Serena said, urging the people of the city away from the scene. The blue-haired girl helped out where she could, making sure none of the civilians became trapped in the fires malicious grasp. The flames leapt and danced as they consumed, radiantly beautiful in their destruction. Fresh embers jumped and spread ever higher until entire structures were engulfed in a blazing, explosive inferno.

Picking up on the sound of crackling bricks, Serena's head snapped up as she saw a piece of a building begin to break away, toppling over and rushing to collapse onto the ground as gravity pulled it down. Serena's eyes widened, and she lunged forward, ignoring the yells of protest. She noticed a group of people standing below it, unaware of what was about to crush them. The blue-haired girl's eyes glew as her quirk activated, time freezing all around them. She was quick to move people away from the falling debris, using her ice to create a giant structure that secured the burnt bricks. When she unfroze time, she watched as the people looked around in shock, all expecting death to come to those that stood under the now frozen building. The civilians took notice of the girl with the glowing blue girl, noticing the ice particles that were wafting off of her.

The people sang their praises upon noticing who she was.

"You're the kid from U.A! Serena Akari!" The said girl turned and nodded her head, confirming that she was who he said she was. Though before they could say anything, a Nomu came crashing into the ice sculpture, causing a stir of panic to begin again. Serena felt as if she saw her life flash before her eyes, her heart beating rigorously in her chest. Whether it was out of adrenaline or fear, Serena had no idea.

A string of curses unravelled from the bluenette's tongue, like yarn unfurling, when she saw it begin to get up, noticing its crazed eyes looking over at the people that stared at it in fear. Serena clenched her fists, anger boiling up as memories from USJ started popping up in her head. She shook her head. Now wasn't the time, she thought.

Having learnt from her encounter with a Nomu before, Serena created a large ice spear. Using her keen eyesight, she stared carefully as the monstrous creature began to rise. She waited for the perfect moment to strike, narrowing in on a specific part of the Nomu. Just as the Nomu was about to lunge forward, Serena saw her opening. She swung her arm back, taking a step back as well. Focusing all her power into her arm, she let out a grunt as she propelled the ice spear towards the Nomu's head at full force, sighing in satisfaction when it pierced right through its exposed brain.

Like a stone idol, like a mountain avalanche, the Nomu fell.
