Chapter 15
So. I finally did it. I'm going to finish this fanfiction for you with the following chapter. It might not be the end you're looking for, but it's what I came up with. On a whim, this is what I'm giving you. Enjoy.

Months had passed. The world had flown by, just like it always had. By now the winter months were over as the last snows melted from the ground outside.
Every day you'd gone out to feed Papyrus. Couldn't have the dick dying on you, of course- but on a day a few weeks ago he'd been missing. At the time you were frightened. No telling when he might come back, but things had been quiet since. That fact put you at ease.
On this particular early morning you were sitting in your room. Sans was with you, lying against your chest while the two of you talked. Over the past while you'd grown very close. Like best friends, maybe more. But the conversation grew dreary.
"Hey, Y/N?"
"Yea?"
"Ya think he's ever gonna come back..?"
The question made you ponder, and you stalled to think. There was, of course, the minor possibility of Papyrus' return, but it seemed rather unlikely.
"..no, Sans. I don't think so." Sans looked relieved. Relieved, but also sad. You watched him for a moment before continuing.
"You miss him, don't you?"
He looked at you, as if shocked you'd make such an accusation of him before, almost as if he'd thought better of it, looking back down and nodding.
"'Course I do. I remember when he was just a little thing. Smaller than even ME. Heh.."
"Innocent lil' child, right? I can understand. My younger brother was just the same."
He shot another exasperated "heh" your way before settling back down into your chest. For that one serene moment all was silent before you exhaled and moved, attempting to get up.
"I think I need a walk. Gonna stay here and sleep the whole day or do ya wanna come with?" He looked at you for a moment as you pushed yourself up off the bed before lying back down with a small huff. His answer was clear.
"Well I'll be back in a few.. hours," you poked the side of his head playfully, to which he grinned reluctantly, "don't go getting yourself into any trouble, alright?" His response was to flop over and curl up into your blanket, and you rolled your eyes- leaving the room.
You were met with a cool breeze when you opened your front door, and you shivered before stepping outside and closing the door. It was beautiful.
The sunlight gleamed off the leftover frost and snow as it melted. There wasn't much on the ground, and all around it little springs bubbled and wildflowers bloomed. Early spring was always your favorite season. New life. It was gorgeous.
You took in the view, then took the first step out into the day. The sun felt warm on your skin, and you smiled. This was going to be a good day.
For the first part of your walk you headed towards the lake, the same lake you'd caught Sans at long ago. It was your favorite place, no matter what happened there. Upon arrival, you re-realized how truly beautiful Spring was.
Taking a seat on the edge of the dock, dangling your feet above the ice capped waters of the lake, you looked out. The small pieces of ice floating on the ripples gleamed into your eyes, the trees on the other side were regaining their leaves. You smiled, looking, staring as if you were watching it all happen at once.
It seemed like you'd been sitting there for hours, just staring, when all of a sudden you were in the water. Hit by a red attack, your back flared in a pain like fire. At the least you now had a bruised sacrum. Thankfully it didn't feel like anything was broken, but the chill of the water shocked your system and you froze. Thankfully, your body is quick to correct these problems, and you rushed your way to the surface to find Undyne charging at you.
"RAHHHHHHH! TRAITOR!" She was furious, running towards you as fast as her legs could take her- wielding one of her infamously red, magic filled spears. She raised it above her head and jumped, prepared to land her blow into your neck.
You tried to dodge, but you didn't leave unscathed. He spear tip grazed against your left arm, leaving you with a nasty gash, and when she'd noticed that she missed she reared back and flung a return blow into your gut, sending you flying through the water.
Your mind was running a mile a minute, and you tried to teleport back home. Unfortunately, that was too far. You got yourself a few yards into the treeline, and that was as far as you could go. Behind you, still splashing in the water like a maniac, you could hear Undyne- still screaming for your bloody murder.
"Traitor?", you thought, confused. "What does she mean by traitor, I'm not a.." Then it hit you. You'd hidden. You didn't fight. You escaped. They thought you were a..
"TRAITOR! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE AND FIGHT!" Undyne was screaming for you again. You glanced back and she was on the dock, looking for you. You sat staring, watching her. When she glanced your way you made eye contact, she knew you were there. Without a moment's hesitation you jumped up and you ran for home. If she knew where you were that must mean someone else was at home. You couldn't leave Sans alone.
Without your magic reserves, you couldn't teleport, so you just ran as fast as you could carry yourself. You could hear the heavy steps of Undyne, fully armored and screaming, following you.
What would have been an eight minute run felt like eight hours as your feet hit gravel and dirt, the clanking of the iron-clad fish woman behind you driving you to fly faster. As the trees gradually got thicker- proof that you were getting closer to home- you started swerving between them, kicking up as much dust as possible without losing your speed. Undyne was falling behind.
You managed to put more and more distance between the both of you. Eventually you were more than five hundred yards ahead, but you didn't stop. Soon you were coming up on your home, the trails were become gradually more pronounced. Eventually you came upon it, but something was wrong.
You were right that someone had come for Sans. It was all of them. The monsters that you'd seen when you first noticed Sans there on the cliff side. They were all there, even the human you'd seen with them.
You froze, staring. Where was Sans? You couldn't see him, but you could hear him- smell him. He was here, and he was close.
Then everything went black. You were on the ground, having been hit in the head with a femur. Papyrus was behind you. He stepped on your back and stabbed you through with yet another bone, one sharpened to a point. You could hear Sans' voice clearly, but the fog filling your mind kept you from understanding what he was saying. You were gurgling, trying to say something to him, but the bone had been shoved through you at an angle- penetrating through your neck.
The world was fading away. You could see Sans now, running at you. It looked like he was trying to cry, but at the same time holding it back. It was all dark, falling away in pieces, and then you were gone. You disappeared. And you were free. Waiting.
