Third Person's POV

We start in Robotropolis in a giant domelike building. Inside Sonic, Brody, Sally and Antoine are sneaking in were they get a good look at some giant machine "Sacre bleu! It is hu-fungus!" Antoine said "You mean humongous, Ant" Sonic said "Hu-mun-gus" Brody said "It has to be... to handle all of Robotnik's traffic-" Sally said and gasps as they all duck out of view as hovercrafts fly by and it lands right by the giant machine. A swatbot walks out and messes with the buttons on its wrist and then gets back inside "What's with all the wrist actoon?" Sonic asks "I think I know" Sally said and puts on a pair of supped up binoculars and sees a force field surrounding the machine. Sonic, Brody and Antoine do the same "Just as I thought! An alarm grid!" Sally said "Woah! That is nasty!" Brody said "I am thinking that not even a little moose can get through that thing there" Antoine said  "a little moose? No. But a hedgehog and a wolf, no prob!" Sonic said  "Where there's a headgehog and a wolf, there's a way" Brody said as they all throw down a set of ropes and climb down to a catwalk and Sally takes out Nicole "Nicole, boot up holographic overlay!" Sally said "Proceeding, Sally. Overlay complete" Nicole said "Color code each square and increase to five times normal size" Sally said and the barrier begins changing before their eyes "Are you sure you two can get through there, Sonic and Brody?" Sally asks "Sal, are you asking if we can get through there?!" Sonic asks "Sal, id the sky blue? Is dirt dirty? Do bears-" Brody said "Sorry I asked" Sally said "Juice and Jam time!" Sonic and Brody said as they tear through the barrier with ease and they make it to the machine and take a bow "Thank you! Thank you!" Sonic and Brody said "Come on guys, how about a round of applause?" Brody asks "Even a square of an applause?" Sonic asks "Sonic, Brody, just get the circuit interrupted ready. Nicole, scan for an injector slot" Sally said "Scanning, Sally. Injector slot located" Nicole said and Brody takes out a disc "Time to fry some of the ol' brain cells, pal!" Sonic said  as Brody inserts the disc and the machine starts malfunctioning "Sonic, Brody, get out of there!" Sally said and the duo run back to her "We did it, boys! All of Robotnik's traffic is paralyzed!" Sally said "Then we should better be speeding?" Antoine asks "Yeah!" Sonic said "We'll use the tunnels!" Brody said and they all run deeper into the mechanical maze and find the tunnels.

"Which way, Sal?" Sonic asks "Go right!" Sally said as swatbots are heading through that right tunnel "You were kidding about going right, right?" Brody asks "Right" Sally said "You meant left, right?!" Sonic asks "R-Right!" Sally said "We knew that! We'd like to hang with you guys, but we've gotta motor!" Brody said as they go left but it's a dead end "You didn't mean left, right?" Sonic asks "You meant middle?" Brody asks "Middle! Right....right!" Sally said but swatbots are coming from the middle "This is terrible!" Antoine said "We'll get us out of this!" Brody said "Trust us!" Sonic said as he and Brody are ready to fight when a small door opens up from the side of the wall and a hand  grabs and yanks Antoine inside "Ant! Juice time!" Sonic said as he, Brody and Sally follow and the door shuts and the swatbots open fire on it "Uh, need a hand?" A figure asks and helps Sally up "Oh yes! Thank you for the help" Sally said "Yeah, you saved us the trouble" Sonic and Brody said "I'm Sally and these two are Sonic and Brody" Sally said "Hello, I'm Griff" the goat called Griff said as Antoine who passed out woke up "Ohhhh, my goodness.... Where am I going?" Antoine asks as the swatbots begin slamming on the door trying to break in "swatbots. Follow me!" Griff said and they all follow him as the swatbots finally smash the door down ans begin crawling inside "Where are we going, Griff?" Sally asks as they reach a tunnel "Lower Mobius" Griff said "Lower Mobius?" Sonic and Bridy ask "Yeah, we escaped Robotniks swatbots and built an underground city. There's about thirty of us" Griff said "We've heard about you guys!" Sonic said.

They reach a mechanical room, Griff walks over to a small keypad, and presses in a code, opening an elevator of some sort containing a vehicule "Welcome to the pipeline express!" Griff said.

*At Lower Mobius*

"Welcome to Lower Mobius, Freedom Fighters" Griff said "Oh my gosh. It's beautiful!" Sally said as they all get a good look at Lower Mobius, which looks more or less like a replication of their old home from years ago "Yeah! Past cool!" Sonic and Brody said "Welcome back Griff! Have a successful trip?" A citizen asked "No, not really Dirk, I'll tell you later. But I did meet some Freedom Fighters" Griff said and Dirk salutes them "We're honored!" Dirk said and Antoine salutes back "Oh... Merci! Merci!" Antoine said and Griff leads them somewhere "This is our energy chamber. It supplies all the power for Lower Mobius" Griff said "Man, we could sure use something like that in Knothole!" Brody said "Without it, we couldn't survive down here" Griff said.

The freedom fighters walk to the city and Sonic and Brody smell something "Whoa-ho-ho! You smell that Brody, love?" Sonic asks "Course I do, we smell a..." Brody said CHILI DOG! Pig out time!" Brody and Sonic said and went after the smell.

"Are you two really gonna eat all twelve of those chili dogs?" The vendor asks "Yeah! But those are just snacks" Sonic said "We'll do some serious eating later" Brody said and the vendor hands them a tray "Enjoy!" The vendor said "Pinch me Brody! We must be dreaming!" Sonic said when an alarm goes off and everyone goes into hiding except for the duo "Yo, what's up?" Brody asks "Sonic! Brody!  I need your help! Ratbots are trying to penetrate the pipe system!" Griff said.

*Later at the Hover Sled*

"We're trapped! I can fix it, but we need some time!" Griff said as Sonic and Brody hop out "No prob! We'll handle the rat-butts!" Sonic and Brody said. The duo took out a few but soon a mutant ratbot appeared so Sonic and Brody used their power rings to push the hover sled suprising Griff  and they make it back to the underground city in no time.

"Sonic, Brody, that...was absolutely incredible! How does this.... power rings work?" Griff asks "My Uncle Chuck knows for sure. He made them for me and Brody before he was captured amd roboticized" Sonic said "So you mean there's more than one?" Griff asks "Yes, we receive two new rings every twelve hours" Sally said "Fantastic! I've never seem so much condensed energy! Can I see it?" Griff asks "Sure!" Sonic and Brody said tossing the rings at him "Listen, we have some unfinished business! Catch ya later!" Brody said and he and Sonic speed off "....Fantastic" Griff said.

*Back at the food stand*

Sonic and Brody were waiting impatiently when the food arrives "All right!" Sonic and Brody said when the power of the city starts to dim out "Huh?!" The duo asked confused.

*At the control room*

Griff and Dirk were trying ti get things working "I doubt it will last 24 hours, Griff" Dirk said "We have to do something. The Freedom Fighters have an incredible energy source, but they're very protective of it" Griff said "This calls for desperate measures. Can they help us?" Dirk asks "I don't know if we can trust them yet... But I know what to do" Griff said.

*Back with Sonic and Brody*

"Sonic! Brody!" Antoine said "Huh?" Sonic and Brody ask "Oh this is terrible! Terrible! I can't believing it!" Antoine said "Can't 'believing' what, Ant?" Brody asks "Greeff! He is stealing the heart of my princess!" Antoine said "What?" Sonic asks "I'll show you!" Antoine said dragging them away. They look over a small ledge at Griff and Sally together and Griff grabs a flower for her "Ah, sacre bleu! This is most terrible day of my young and handsome life" Antoine said "Okay.....so what?" Sonic asks "It's not our probl-Ant?" Brody ask and the two see Amtoine walking to Sally with a bouquet of flowers "Oh, Antoine! Thank you but I-" Sally said "I have a poome for you!" Antoine said "...I'm sorry, a what?" Sally asks "A 'poome'!" Antoine said "Oh! I see" Sally said "Iam a royal guard, brave and true. Who gladly would be laying down my life for you!" Antoine said "Escuse us while we chuck our chili" Sonic and Brody said "You two are insultating my poome!" Antoine said "No, your poome insults itself!" Sonic said "Well, it is much more romantic anything you two could write!" Antoine said "We actually are a relationship you know!" Sonic said "Boys, please! You're being very rude to Griff!" Sally said "Who cares?!" Sonic, Brody and Antointe ask "I care! He saed our lives, and I think you owe him an apology" Sally said "' Scuse you! Sonic and I saved you two AND Griff today!" Brody said "Yeah we don't owe him nothing!" Sonic said "Besides he just met you, Sal. He's obviously plotting  something" Brody said "Yeah right" Sally said "You don't gotta be jealous Brody and I make a great couple" Sonic said "Knock it off Sonic. It's not always about you two" Sally said "Guys, stop. Look, let me drive you back to the surface. It's the least I can do" Griff said.

*Later at Knothole*

"Wow. This is really, really beautiful. Home sweet home" Griff said "Heh! Would you like a... Knothole tour?" Sally asks "Thanks, but I should- I should get back" Griff said and Antoine, Sally, Sonic and Brody hop out "Well, I hope we meet again, Freedom Fighters" Griff said and just then he yanks a wire out from under the wheel causing it to short out again "Griff? What's wrong?" Sally asks 'It's this darn engine acting up again" Griff said "Oh! Well, um, why don't you spend the night here? We have plenty of room and you can fix it in the morning!" Sally said "Well, that's very kind but... Alright I accept!" Griff said and Sally gives him a tour including the lake of rings and explained how it works.

*Later at night*

Antoine was on guard in the ring pool he is fast asleep and that's when Griff walked in and steals the power source which is a stone that creates the rings.

Sally was in her cabin looking at the moon while Sonic and Brody walked around when Antoine run to them while Griff was already on his hover car and had left. "Sonic! Brody! My princess! Something terrible had happened!" Antoine said "What's wrong Antoine?" Sally asks "I do not know. The power ring pool, something is wrong with it, but I do not know what!" Antoine said and Brody speeds off to the pool "Yeah, something is way past un-cool" Brody said and dives in and finds the stonw has been stolen so he heads back to the surface "The power rock is gone!" Brody saod "Gone?! But, who would-" Sally said "Guess" Sonic said.

Sonic picks up a square green stone out of the ground at the spot Griff parked the car "What is it, Sonic?" Sally asks "Griff's Hover Sled is gone and I found this!" Sonic said "Sacre bleu!" Antoine said "Griff took the Power stone?" Sally asks "Yup, and Sonic and I are gonna get it back" Brody said "Juice time!" Sonic and Brody said as they race off.

*Back at Lower Mobius*

Griff puts the power stone into the power grid "Let's hope this works!" Griff said and it worked but then "Groff! The Ratbots got through! They're coming!" Dirk said as the inhabitants are trying to fend them off, but it's no use. Griff and Dirk pick up some planks lying around and take the rats head on, but Griff gets knocked to the ground and they surround him.

At the same time Sonic and Brody are in the pipe system "Bailing, watp-7!" Sonic and Brody said as they reach the end and take on the rats "You cheese-bags are really starting to annoy us!" Sonic said "Our turn!" Brody said as the two start racing around a pack of them "Yo, no brainers!" Brody said "Over here!" Sonic said as the two are at tje stand chowing down a chili dog each "Wanna give it up or what?" Sonic asks as one comes their way amd the duo flip onto the food-stand's roof "Guess not. Ok see how you dig this!" Brody said as he and Sonic jump to the ground and they drill down under and the rats surround the hole, waiting for them to pop up, only for them to pop out behind them "Yo! You want us? We're right here!" Sonic and Brody said amd the rats fling their tails at them but the duo dodges making the rats end up tangled shorting all three out.

Sonic and Brody land on the ground between the three of them "Thank you Sonic and Brody...." Griff said and holds his hands out for a shake "Forget the thanks, Griff. Where's the power stone?" Sonic asks "I used it to keep our energy crystal alive. Wthout this crystal, we.... we couldn't survive!" Griff said "That doesn't give you the right to steal from us!" Brody said "I'm sorry.... I was desperate" Griff said "Where is it?!" Sonic and Brody ask.

*At the Power Grid*

Griff takes out the power stone and hands it to Brody "Look, Griff. What you did was wrong. But we're all in this war against Robotnik together!" Brody said and breaks the power stone in half and Sonic nodded "This should keep you cruising for a while!" Sonic said "I....I don't know how to thank you both" Griff said "Maye you ought to turn the lights back on" Brody said and Griff puts his half of the power stone in the power grid, lighting the city back up and then shakes hamds with Sonic and Brody "You two are the best, Sonic and Brody" Griff said "We know" Sonic and Brody said smiling as this chapter comes to an end.
