Third Person's POV

The sky is dark-red. A Hover Unit flies by, elsewhere in Robotropolis, Sonic, Brody, Sally and Bunnie are standing in a fog, which causes Bunnie to cough "Oh! Don't you just love all this fresh air?" Bunnie asks "Yeah, about as much as I love Robuttnik" Brody said "Agreed" Sonic said while Sally works on Nicole while Bunnie rummages through Sonic and Brody's backpacks "Arm cannisters, Nicole" Sally said "Arming, Sally" Nicole said while Bunnie places a cannister in Sonic and Brody's backpack making each one have 3 and they all light up "Cannisters armed" Nicole said "You're all loaded, sugar-hog and sugar-olf" Bunnie said "Cool synchronize the ole' waches" Sonic said and the four did "Okay, meet you at the usual. If anybody's late, jam back to Knothole. Check?" Brody asks "Check" Sonic, Sally and Bunnie said "Good luck y'all!" Bunnie said as she runs off and so does Sally "Let's do it, to it" Sonic Brody said and they share the freedom fighter secret handshake and give a thumbs up.

*Swatbot factory*

Sonic arrived at the swatbot factory and started planting the charges and when he finishes he runs off and takes cover "8....7....6" Sonic counted as he looked a his watch. Meanwhile was setting the charges in the factory he was when sleeping gas started filling the factory making him cough "What's.... going...." before he could finish Brody passed out.

"5....4...3..." Sally said looking at her watch "2....1...Bingo!" Bunnie said pulling a lever shutting down the two factories and made her escape and so did Sonic and Sally after she activated the charges, unaware Brody was captured by the swatbots and only one factory was destroyed.

*At Knothole*

"Whoo-whee, I feel like I've been dragged through a knothole.... so to speak" Bunnie said after she went through the slide "Hey, did you guys nail a swatbot factory?" Rotor asks "Well honey, I don't know. I had to make a very unladylike retreat" Bunnie said and Rotor looks around "Where's Sonic, Brody and Sally?" Rotor asks "Well the last time I saw they were...." Bunnie said "Cannonbaaaaall!" Sonic said arriving through the slide in a spindash "It was seismic! Talk about fireworks, right Bunnie?" Sonic asks and Sally arrived after him. Sonic starts looking around "Where's Brod?" Sonic asks "He wasn't at the meeting place, so I came on back" Bunnie said "That's strange for him" Sally said "I gotta go back!" Sonic said worried and was about to run off but Bunnie grabs his arm "Sonic, wait! You need the Power Ring" Bunnie said.

*Meanwhile at Robotnik's lair*

"I know the hedgehog will come for you, wolf..." Robotnik said as Brody was in a glass prison tube with a metallic copy beside him in Robotnik's control room. Brody had his arms crossed and was tapping his foot  "....and when he does, I have a suprise" Robotnik said "Here it is, Dr. Robotnik, enough memory to duplicate Human complexity" Snively said holding a chip "Excellent, Snively. Install it" Robotnik said and Snively opens up a panel in the back of the Brodybot and installs the chip. A display near Brody's prison activates showing Robotnik "I don't suppose you'd tell me the location of knothole?" Robotnik asks "In your dreams buttnik!" Brody said glaring at him and Robotnik activates the Brodybot "In your dreams buttnik!" Brodybot said in Brody's voice. Brody gasps and Snively presses a button on Brodybot and it walks foward into a tube similar to Brody's. A scan occurs around Brody's body and the Brodybot takes the same form as Brody and the two look at each other. "Sonic won't be fooled by some faker!" Brody said kicking the glass he's in "Even if it looks like me" he said "Oh, but we're not finished, wolf. We need to add your spark of personality" Robotnik said.

*Meanwhile at Knothole*

Sonic, Rotor and Tails are at the edge of the power rings pond, Sonic is pacing back and forth impatiently "That's it! I'm outta here!" Sonic said and tries to run off but Rotor picks him "Wait Sonic! You can't go without a ring" Rotor said as Sonic squirms and kicks around "Brody's in mondo-trouble and I'm going ring or not!" Sonic said "Sonic! Two rings are coming!" Tails said as Rotor lets go of Sonic "Bout time" Sonic said as Tails grabs the two rings "I got it!" Tails said putting them in Sonic's backpack "Gotta juice anf cut it loose!" Sonic said running off.

*Robotnik's lair*

Brody is in a jail cell aurrounded by bars of blue energy, Brody groans waking up and touches the bars which zap him "Ouch!" Brody said and sees a display with Robotnik "Oh, cheer up you pesky wolf. I've sent you a visitor!" Robotnik said as the Brodybot walks "Hi! I'm Brody, let's do it to it!" Brodybot said and Brody growls "You won't get away with this buttnik" Brody said.

*Meanwhile with Sonic*

Sonic made his way into the lair evading some traps Robotnik activated it to make it real as Sonic found Brodybot in a cell and got him out and hugged him happily and runs off with him "Ah true love. Hurry home little hedgehog, hurry home. While I roboticize your real boyfriend" Robotnik said laughing.

*Back at Knothole*

Everyone cheers for Sonic and Brodybot's return and Tails runs over and hugs Brodybot "I missed you Brody!" Tails said "Hi Tails!" Brodybot said and kissed him on the cheek while Sonic walks away "I missed you too" Brodybot said "How come you didn't do the funny kiss?" Tails asks and Brodybot looks around confused then back at Tails "Oh the funny kiss. Of course" Brodybot said kissing Tails on the nose "No, that's not it. You know, on my forehead and then you ruffle my fur!" Tails said "Oh! Ah-uh...the funny kiss! Er..." Brodybot said and kisses Tails on the forehead and ruffles his fur making Tails giggle.

*Later at night*

Sally enter Tails' bedroom while he is lying in bed "It's storytime Tails!" Sally said "Sally? Not to be mean but Brody usually reads me a story book and today he said he would" Tails said "Oh sweetie, Brody was captured, I'm sure he just needs sometime to relax with Sonic" Sally said sitting on a chair but Tails feels something's off and he is upset.

After Sally read the story she went to Bunnie and Brodybot when Sonic runs over to them "Bad news, I've just heard the second swatbot factory is still online. Brod what happened?" Sonic asked "Oh.... um...the bots used sleeping gas to knock me out and then captured me that's all.." Brodybot said "Then we gotta go back" Sonic said "We leave in the morning and plan it out" Sally said.

Later at night Tails was sleeping when he wakes up and peaks out his window and sees Brodybot as his eyes glow red and looks around the area before walking away and Tails gasps "That's not Brody..." Tails said and hides under the sheets of his bed.

*The next day*

Sonic, Brodybot, Rotir and Bunnie are walking a bridge when Tails calls Sonic "Sonic! Wait for me!" Tails said running up to him "Yo big guy, what's up?" Sonic asks "Sonic, I gotta tell you something" Tails said and looks at Brodybot then at Sonic "Just to you" Tails whispers to him "Sorry Brody, my turn to be the big brother" Sonic said and Brodybot keep walking "Okay buf, make it quick. We got a swatbot factory to bake" Sonic said "That's not Brody!" Tails said "What?!" Sonic asked confused "He didn't give me the funny kiss, didn't read me a bedtime story!' Tails said "hmm...." Sonic said "And I saw light shining from his eyes!" Tails said "You know little buddy, I been bothered by something. Why Robotnik would have such little security after capturing Brody? Or why wasn't he in a special cell he couldn't escape from" Sonic said "I'll find the real Brody, buddy just stay calm" Sonic said and runs off as Tails smiles.

*At Robotropolis*

They all were at an abandoned building with many openings and Rotor comments to Sonic how the swatbots knows their every move. Sonic sees Brodybot and goes to him "Hey Brody, let's do it to it" Sonic said holding his hands out and Brodybot looks confused "What's wrong?  You know our secret handshake right? The one only you and I know?" Sonic asks but Brodybot remains confused "Tails and I were right! You're not Brody! Where is my Brody?" Sonic asks and the Brodybot pushes him back and runs off.

Sonic was able to catch the Brodybot and spins around him causing him to malfunction and deactivates as Rotor, Sally and Bunnie caught up.

Meanwhile Snively said to Ribotnik that they were ready to Roboticize Brody "Well, wolf. Since your boyfriend destroyed my robot, I'll make an improved model" Robotnik said

*Back with Sonic*

"....and the bot factory is guarded by 20 security bots and hover units" Brodybot said as Rotor reworked him to tell them everything "What about my Brdoy?" Sonic asks "He is now being roboticized" Brodybot said "What?! I"m juicing!" Sonic said  and Rotor finished "Wait a sec Sonic. Suprise for iron-lips" Rotor said "Cool. You guys do the factory, I'll get Brody" Sonic said and runs off dragging the Brodybot.

*At the Roboticization Room*

"Ready, Dr Robotnik" Snively said and nearby an air duct vent cover Sonic makes the Brodybot use his laser beam to cut it open. "Activate" Robotnik said, just as Snively goes to activate the roboticizer, Sonic hops out of the vent with Brodybot "Bye-bye, meedlesome wolf!" Robotnik said and the tube descends but an explosion occurs, shaking the area and stopping the tube and Robotnik looks around as numerous explosions go off in the factory. Rotor and Bunnie fly over a trash ship, dropping an explosive into it's scrap heap. More explosions occur as Robotnik witnesses the destruction from his control room "No!" Robotnik said  spotting Bunnie and Rotor "Infiltration detected! All units attack!" He said.

Meanwhile Sonic sabotages Snively's workshop oulling a steam line. Snively looks over to see the issue while Sonic rescues Brody hugging him tightly "I'm sorry I took so long my love!" Sonic said "Hehe, it's fine my cute hedgehog, I knew you'd save me" Brody said hugging back and Sonic puts the Brodybot in the seat "Let's cruise, I don't like the company here" Sonic said and the two run away and they high-five "Past cool!" Brody and Sonic said.

Robotnik watches as Sonic and Brody run up to the security camera "You were close Robuttnik, but you could never fool me with a fake Brody" Sonic said "Have a dreadful day" Brody said as Sonic gives him the power rings and gets on Brody's back as Brody dashes away at high speed.

*Back at Knothole, Lake of rings*

Tails is sitting by himself on an old log "Hi, Tails" Brody said and Tails looks over and sees Brody walking over but he looks away "It's really me, little bro" Brody said sitting next to Tails smiling and Tails looks at him thinking "Come here Tails, you were a smart boy" Brody said kissing Tails on the forehead and then ruffles his hair "Brody! It really is you!" Tails saod hugging Brody and he sets him down "Hey Brody, why does the wolf have big ears?" Tails asks giggling "It's so he can hear you better" Brody said making a voice of the big bad wolf and Tails giggles as Brody picks him up and Sonic walks in "Hey! I saved you remember? Where's my thank you kiss?" Sonic asks and Brody rolls his eyes playfully and walks over to Sonic holding Tails and Brody kisses Sonic on the cheek "Oh no, oh nononono you cheeky wolf. We saud thank you kisses are on the lips" Sonic said pouting "I'm not doing that kiss infront of Tails" Brody said and Sonic grins mischievously "This one is a fake too! Let's get away Tails"  Sonic said running away giggling and Brody rolls his eyes playfully and looks at Tails "Wanna play catch the hedgehog?" Brody asks Tails and he nods happily "Yeah!" Tails said and gets on Brody's back and Brody runs after Sonic and the three laugh happily as this chapter comes to an end.
