Third Person's POV

We start this chapter with a vehicule being chased by swatbots. It lands and Ari gets out and runs away. Meanwhile Sonic, Brody and Sally are dismantling a ship "Any year now, Sal!" Sonic said "You know, your unremitting perserverance is an example to us all, Sonic" Sally said "Say what?" Sonic asks "Just move it you two" Sally said "Hokd on to your socks, Sal!" Brody said as he and Sonic were holding a rope with an anchor and the two run foward rising the ship's pieces "That's good guys!" Sally said and Brody ties the rope to a tree stump and the duo walks to Sally "Yeah! Any cool stuff for the Deroboticizer?" Sonic asks "No, nothing yet" Sally said "Man, what is all this junk? Hey, check this guys! A toaster!" Sonic said grabbing a magnetic field generator "No way, Sonic! That's a magnetic field generator!" Brody said You mean it's not a toaster? Then what'd it do?" Sonic asks "It's a very powerful magnet" Sally said.

*Meanwhile in Knothole's Lookout*

"Magnifique! My princess Sally, I'm seeing my love for you is like a huge fungo salad, my little tomato.... You are the onions of my eyes.... The gray flowers of my ear... The cucumber..." Antoine said writing a poem "Ant, you're making me hungry. Besides, we're supposed to be lookouts" Tails said "That's right, Tony. Lookout!" Dulcy the dragon said causing Antoine to shout but Tails and Dulcy laugh at this.

*Back with Sonic, Brody and Sally*

"Wow, it's still in excellent shape!" Brody said "Let's check it out!" Sonic said about to touch it but Brody grabs his hand "Careful Sonic" Brody said "switch that on and you'll attract every piece of metal within 50 feet" Sally said "Woah! That could be ugly" Sonic said "Yoo-hoo! Alló, ma princesse!" Antoine said "Ew, speaking of ugly..." Brody said "I have wriggen for you, my Princess! I'm falling in love with you!" Antoine said but trips and grabs onto the rope untying it making it pull Antoine foward as the ship's pieces fall and Sonic gets Sally out of the way and Brody grabs the magnet and Antoine falls from a tree "Nice landing, Ant" Sonic said "You gotta teach that to Dulcy" Brody said "Are you ok, Antoine?" Sally asks "Moi? But of course, ny princess. I've never been so much better..." Antoine said.

"Dulcy, check this out! Somebody is coming" Tails said and Dulcy sees Ari, a ram being chased by swatbots "Oh, oh! Swatbots! You better tell Sonic and Brody!" Dulcy said.

"Sonic! Brody!" Tails said flying to them "What's up, big guy?" Sonic and Brody ask "Sonic, Bridy, swatbots! They're chasing some guy this way" Tails said "Some guy?" Brody asks "Yeah over there!" Tails said pointing "We'll check it out!" Sonic said "Sonic, Brody, lead the bots back here" Sally said "Say what?" Brody asks "I've got a plan, trust me" Sally said "You got it Sal" Sonic and Brody said as they run off.

Ari gets surrounded by two swatbots "Hahaha! I'd like to stay, boys, but I have places to go and people to see!" Ari said grabbing onto a branch and uses it to get to another tree branch "Ooh, way cool moves, bud!" Sonic said "Get ready to roll! I'll draw thesw bots are off!" Brody said "Thanks but why would they follow you two?" Ari asks "Emergency order override. Hedgehog and Wolf. Priority one" a swatbot said "That's why! Rip abd Slip time!!" Sonic said as the duo run off and leads the swatbots where Tails and Sally are "Here they come!" Tails said and Sally activates the magnet and it attracts and deactivates the swatbots "You got them, Aunt Sally!" Tails said "That's the power converter. The magnet deactivated the bot. We can use a lot of these parts for the De-roboticizer" Sally said.

*Later at Night*

"So I was on the way to this old fortress where Robotnik's holding my Freedom Fighters. And..." Ari said "Wow! Did you say 'Freedom Fighters'? Like us?" Sonic asks "Not exactly. We're only six. Well, we were seven. Now there's only me" Ari said "Isn't that interesting? We've never heard of other Freedom Fighters" Sally  said "Well, before today, we've never heard of you either" Ari said "Look, anyone can say they're a Freedom Fighter" Sally said "Yo Sal, you're being mondo rude!" Brody said and Sonic nodded, Sally grabs the two and drsgs them away "No, Brody, I'm being mondo cautious. We know nothing about him. I don't know, something... just doesn't feel right" Sally said "Like what?" Sonic asks "Like here we ard, in the middle of nowhere, and another Freedom Fighter just happens to show up?" Sally asks "Sal, give the guy his props" Brody said "Props?" Sally asks "Proper respect, lady. Bots were chasing him.

*Meanwhile at Robotnik's Control room*

"Fine. But Robotnik controls the bots" Sally said as Snively and Robotnik watch from a monitor "The princess may be a problem, sir" Snively said "Aah, but the rodent and furball believes him, Snively.... and that's what matters" Robotnik said.

*Back to Sonic, Brody and Sally*

"Yeah, well we trust him" Brody said "Well I don't" Sally said "We do!" Sonic said "I don't!" Sally said and Ari walks to them "Excuse me. I don't want cause any trouble, so thanks for your help. I'll handle ig from here. Good luck" Ari said walking away "Smooth move, Sally" Sonic said "Sonic, you and Brody are being too reckles, as usual" Sally said "Hey what's so reckless about trusting somebody?" Brody asks "You guys takethe junk back to Knothole. Brody and I are going to help Ari" Sonic said.

*Later*

Sally, Tails and Antoine are riding on Dulcy, who is asleep "Dulcy! Dulcy!" Sally said "What?" Dulcy asks waking up "That tree!" Sally said and they crush and land in Rotor's lab "I'm home, ma..." Dulcy said dazzed.

"Now we connect this wire and..." Rotor said working on one of the swatbots while Bunnie nurses Dulcy "Awaiting instructions" the swatbot said "What are your orders?" Sally asks "Orders, pursue Freedom Fighter Ari... Do not capture.... Drive to the fortress. Coordinates 3-6-2. Use Ari to force Priority One Hedgehog and Wolf into trap" the swatbot said "Where?" Rotor asks "Fortress. Coordinates 7-5" The swatbot said and Sally gasps "We have to warn Sonic and Brody" Sally said.

*Meanwhile*

Sonic and Brody were approaching the Fortress with Ari on Sonic's back "Sonic, Brody put these on!" Ari said giving them special googles and they put them on "What are they for?" Brody asks "That patch of sand up ahead. Vibration trigger hidden whirl pools. Look, just avoid the red areas!" Ari said "No problem, Ari!" Sonic said.

*Meanwhile*

Sally took off riding on Dulcy flying "I know this is  asking a lot, Dulcy, but can you go faster?" Sally asks "Ok!" Dulcy said flying faster.

*Back to Sonic and Brody*

"Man, it looks totally deserted" Sonic said "You sure your Freedom Fighters are in there?" Brody asks "Yeah, I saw them" Ari said and pushes a button when a flying bot appears "Sonic! Brody!" Ari said "Got it, no problemo!" Sonic and Brody said and they run and the bot chases them "Man, this guy is a real pain in the..." Sonic said and the bot bites them on the butt "Ow! Wow that's rude, man!" Sonic and Brody said "Better teach you some manners" Sonic said as they hide in the ground and waits for the bot to pass. When he does, the duo goes up and throw him ti a red area destroying it 'Ooh, his bite was worse than his bark!" Brody said as he and Sonic rub their butts "Are you two alright?" Ari asks "Yeah, as long as We don't sit down" Sonic and Brody said.

Dulcy and Sally arrived to the scene "There's Sonic and Brody! Dulcy, could you....?" Sally asks "I know, I know, faster, faster...." Dulcy said.

Sonic and Brody are just about to open the door "Sonic, Brody, wait!" Ari said "What's up?" Sonic and Brody ask "That door isn't friendly" Ari said throwing a small rock at it and the door vaporized it "Woah, that would have smoked our sneakers, big time!" Sonic said and Ari opens the door with a remote control "You sure know a lot about this place Ari" Brody said "We have a good intelligence network" Ari said "So do we" Brody said "We'll make a great team!" Sonic said and the three enter.

"Sonic! Brody!" Sally said "Huh? Sally?" Sonic and Brody asks as Ari pushes the remote again and the door suddenly closes "Ah!" The duo said "Hold on Sally!" Dulcy said flying around and slides on the floor and Dumcy hits a rock "Dulcy are you all right?" Sally asks "I'll pick up my room later, ma..." Dulcy said dazed and the Fortress turns into a Robotnik Fortress "Oh my gosh, Dulcy.. this is trouble!" Sally said "There won't be any trouble, ma..." Dulcy said.

Inside, Sonic, Brody and Ari are looking at a TV monitor "Yo! What's up with the weirdo TV?" Sonic asks "We have to unscramble it to get in" Ari said "You mean like eggs?" Brody asks "Hmmm.... similar" Ari said and managed to open the door "That's it!" Ari said and they enter the dark room, where Ari's friends are captive "Man oh man! Are those your Freedom Fighters, Ari?" Brody asks "I'm afraid so" Ari said "Let's spring 'em!" Sonic said as he and Brody quickly run into one of the captured Freedom Fighters but he disappears "Huh! What's up Ari?" Sonic asks "What's going on?" Brody asks "I'm sorry, Sonic and Brody. I wish there were another way" Ari said pressing a button and the duo try to run out of the room but the door closes.

"Hey Ari! Open up, man!" Sonic and Brody said "I'm afraid you two are stuck with me, Hedgehog and Wolf. But not to worry. I promise you two won't be bored. Heeeheeheehee!" Robotnik said appearing on a monitor "Robotnik" Sonic and Brody said.

*Meanwhile Outside*

"Ok. When I push this button, I'm gonna fly backwards ans rip out the door" Dulcy said with the magnet around her "Dulcy!" Sally said "Trust me..." Dulcy said pressing the button "Wait! Don't!" Sally said "This will work!" Dulcy said and the magnet pulls her to the door stucking on it "Dulcy, talk to me!" Sally said "I'm fine, ma..." Dulcy said dazzed "Analisis complete, Sally" Nicole said "Bad news first, Nicole" Sally said "No access possible. Doors all code-locked" Nicole said "Great" Sally said and the doors open "Come on Dulcy!" Sally said and they hide and see Ari getting inside a hovercraft "Where's Sonic and Brody?" Dulcy asks "I don't know. But get ready to move" Sally said as the hovercraft flies offand the door closes again "I have to find out what's going on. Dulcy, can ypu catch that hovercraft?" Sally asks "It'll be a stretch, but I'll try" Dulcy said and the two chase Ari. "Dulcy, faster!" Sally said "Ok, but I'll have to crack the whip" Dulcy said "Crack the what?" Sally asks "The whip!" Dulcy said flying incredibly fast "Dulcy!" Sally said as Dulcy catches up and grabs onto the hovercraft.

*Back with Sonic, Brody and Robotnik*

"Are you two ready to play, my favorite rodent and furball?" Robotnik asks "Play what, chrome dome?" Sonic and Brody asks "A little game I created. Just for the three of us" Robotnik said and pushes a button "Hehehehehe!" He said "Oh man!" Sonic and Brody said "Sir, we have the hedgehog and the wolf in the palm of our hand. Why not just... just squash them now?" Snively asks "Oh no Snively. I've been waiting far too long for this moment. I want to savor it. Hehehehe! Activate" Robotnik said "Activating sir" Snively said and Brody and Sonic start levitating "Yo Robuttnik, what's up?" Brody asks "Why.... you are, wolf and hedgehog" Robotnik said as the duo get stuck into a ball "Comfortable, rodent and furball?" He asks "Let's do it, Robuttnik. Brody and I don't have all day" Sonic said "That's true. You two don't. Activate" Robotnik said and the room turns into a pinball "Oh no!" Sonic said "Something tells me We are not gonna like this game" Brody said as a door opens revealing a portal "Fascinating, isn't it hedgehog and wolf? It's a dimensional warp I created years ago" Robotnik said "You need to get out more, Robuttnik" Brody said "There are still some techno problem to solve. It seems that those who enter...never return" Robotnik said closing the door "Oh well, life is not perfect" He said "Perfect means never having to see you again, moon-head" Sonic said "Be careful what you wish for, rodent! Here are the rukes. Hit your bumpers and the portal closes a little. Hit my bumpers and... well... even you two can figure that out!" Robotnik said as the duo get sucked to the start area "Let the game begin!" Robotnik said "We should have listened to..." Brody said as the game starts "Saaaallllly!" Sonic and Brody said hitting Robotnik's bumpers but the dul manage to stop themselves "You wanna play, huh, Robuttnik?" Sonic asks "Well check this!" Brody said as they run hitting their bumpers scoring a lot of points "Bye bye portal. You lose bullet-head!" Sonic and Brody said "Silly hedgehog and wolf. That was just the warm-up. I didn't want you two to... strain yourselves" Robotnik said as flippers appear and it hits the duo going all over Robotnik's bumpers and they get on a freezing machine "Mondo problemo..." Sonic said and the game keeps going and the portal opens again as Robotnik pushes a button "Oh man!" Brody said as a hologram Robotnik appears "One small step for the rodent and furball, one very large stick for me!" Robotnik said and hits the ball with a hockey stick and the duo unfreezes in time "You're history Robuttnik!" Sonic and Brody said as they run into their bumpers "I admire your spirits, rodent and furball , but this game is far from over" Robotnik said releasing bots which Sonic and Brody suck into the portal.

At the same time Ari enter Robotnik's room "All right Robotnik. I delivered Sonic and Brody, now release my Freedom Fighters" Ari said while Sally and Dulcy were hiding in a vent "Ready" Dulcy saod "Of courde dear boy, I always keep my promises. Snively!" Robotnik said "Sir?" Snively asks "Bring in Ari's friends" robotnik said and Ari's friends come in but they are roboticized "What is this, Robotnik? We had a deal" Ari said while Dulcy is breathing heavily "Hurry Dulcy! Sally said "You think this is easy?" Dulcy asks "Deals only exist to be broken, dear boy. You'll feel better once you're roboticized" Robotnik said "One day Robotnik, you'll be on the other end of this!" Ari said "Oh, please, all this drama gives me a migraine" Robotnik said "I hate doing this. Ok, ready!" Dulcy said and falls infront of Robotnik "Hello" Dulcy said and Robotnik gasps and gets frozen "Oh no!" Snively said getting frozen too as Ari destroys the swatbots "Thanks, Ari" Sally said "No, no, princess. I should thank you" Ari said.

*Back with Sonic and Brody*

Sonic and Brody keep hitting their bumper over and over and they stop panting "Oh man pinball is....a tough game" Brody said as the portal closes "We're outta here!" Sonic said and the two struggle to open the ball "Hehehehehe... Don't strain yourselves, blue boy and yellow boy. The game isn't over until the hedgehog and the wolf scream!" Robotnik said unfrozen and makes the flippers throw the duo at Robotnik's bumpers as the two scream as Robotnik laughs.

*Meanwhile*

Dulcy, Ari and Sally go back to the fortress in a different ship "I'll be right back" Sally said and goes grab the magnet "Excuse me princess" Ari said taking the magnet from her "Ari wait!" Sally said as Ari runs to the door and opens it "Ari, what are you doing?" Sally asks "Stay back princess. The door has a defensive system" Ari said ans goes inside as the door closes "Ari!" Sally said.

Brody and Sonic kept hitting Robotnik's bumpers making the portal re-open "Having fun yet, Sonic and Brody?" Robotnik asks as the ball stops "Man, we need a big juice" Sonic said and they try to use their power rings but the flipper pushes them to the portal and they almost get sucked ingo the portal when suddenly they are attracted to the opposite way "Hey, what's up?" Brody asks "What is this?" Robotnik asks as the duo get attracted to the magnet Ari has "Ari, thanks" Sonic and Brody said "I thought you two could use a hand, Sonic and Brody, but now we're in trouble" Ari said "Np prob! Help's on the way. Way cool!" Sonic and Brody said as they use their power rings "Get ready to turn that sucker ocf!" Brody said as he and Sonic run in place charging energy "Now Ari!" Sonic said and Ari deactivates the magnet and Sonic and Brody destroy the pinball "Finally the Power Ring! Playtime's over" Robotnik pressed a button as the duo break free from the ball "Destruct mode. Countdown 5.... 4... 3... 2.... 1.... activate" A computer said and everything starts to get sucked into the portal and so does Ari "Ari!" Sonic said as he and Brody catch him "Hang on, Ari!" Brody said "Sonic, Brody, I'm sorry! I did't wanna.... do this. He has my Freedom Fighters" Ari said "Just hang on, pal!" Sonic and Brody said "Sonic, Brody listen! There are other Freedom Fighters besides us. I don't know how many, but they're looking for Sally. The list! Her father's liat!" Ari said and a wheel hits him and he gets sucked into the portal screaming "Ari!" Sonic and Brody said "Oh no" they said and run away outside.

"Sonic! Brody!" Sally said relieved and Sonic and Brody hold hands catching their breaths as the whole fortress gets sucked into the portal "Is.... Ari.." Dulcy said "Gone. He's inside that thing" Sonic and Brody said sadly as the portal disappears "It's a vortex. With luck, we can figure it out and bring him back" Sally said "I hope so" Sonic said "He saved us from going in there" Brody said.

*Later at Knothole*

"Other Freedom Fighters? And you two are sure he said 'my father's list'?" Sally asks "That's right, Sally" Brody said "What can it be? A list of other Freedom Fighter groups?" Sally asks "Who knows? You're the one who didn't trust Ari" Sonic said "But unlike some hedgehogs and wolves who leap before they look, I have the ability to learn" Sally said "Hey, we can learn!" Sonic and Brody said "Brody, maybe. Sonic, I think not" Sally said walking away " 'I think not' " Sonic said mockingly and the two see a device Sally left infront of them "What's this thing?" Sonic asks grabbing it "Um, Sonic I don't think that's a-" Brody said when Sonic pressed the button and it electrocutes the two messing with their quills/fur and they look in a mirror scaring themselves as Sally comes back "I rest my case" Sally said "Duuuh funny. Very funny" Sonic and Brody said crossing their arms as this chapter comes to an end.
