Draco's breath hitched as Harry leaned in. The moment he wanted for years had finally come.
Draco leaned in and fluttered his eyes shut, slowly leaning in. His heart raced as Harry's lips brushed his-
Then they heard footsteps.
Harry and Draco sprang apart and looked toward the source of the noise, but only saw the hallway.
"Harry, run." Draco whispered.
"But-but.." Harry protested weakly.
"Run." Draco hissed. "Go to the dungeons."
Harry looked at him with tears in his eyes, and kissed his cheek softly. He squeezed Draco tightly and then ran off to the dungeons.
Draco went back to the dead on the floor, making it look like he was still attending to his parents bodies.
He winced as the footsteps drew nearer; there was loud thumping for each step the person took and the ground seemed to rumble when their foot touched the floor. Then there was the hissing.
It seemed to get louder and louder, and the closer it got, the more vibration went through your ears. It was like the fluids in your ears that kept you balanced suddenly drained, resulting in dizziness.
Draco stopped dead when he realized where the hissing was from.
The footsteps grew louder, and louder, and louder-more vibrations and pounding followed them, and Draco feared that the rattling chandelier above him was going to break free from its hinges and fall right on top of Draco and his family-and the hissing grew even louder, making him more dizzy.
Then the footsteps came to a halt. All of the rumbling stopped and it felt like his manor had settled after an earthquake. Draco gulped and looked up, almost having cardiac arrest. His knees felt too weak to rise and his stomach had dropped to the floor.
"Draco," the voice said with a slight smile. "Oh dear boy, you aren't in trouble. No no, I just have a few questions for you,"
Draco wobbled onto his feet and took a deep breath.
"Yes, my Lord."
