I woke up at 4 am with sweat dripping off my face.

"It was just a dream thank god." I said with a hand to my head.

"Max are you ok?" I hear from the doorway. I turn to see Nathan at the door.

"I-I am fine...." I say and my voice trails Off.

"Max?"

"I'm fine!" I yell. "S-Sorry. Sorry Nathan." I say after realizing what I just did.

"It's fine. What happened?"

"N-Nothing." I say trying to go back to sleep.

"I can stay here till your asleep if you'd like." Nathan says walking over to me.

"Thanks." I say as he sits next to me on the bed."

"No problem." He said.

It didn't take long for me to fall asleep. When I woke up I saw that it was noon. I reached out and did my online classes then walked down stairs. I began to make lunch as I hear a voice behind me.

"Well your finally awake."

"Hey Nathan." I say and turned around to see him.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Yeah just tiered." I can't wait till high school ends.

"Yeah. Just one more year. I can't wait." He said with a smile.

"Hey wheres mom?"

"She had a couple of groceries." He said to me.

"Ok what do you want for lunch. It's past 1:00 so I can make us something." I said.

"I guess sandwiches but I can help you." He offered.

"No it's fine I-"

"Max let me help. Please. I want to." He said with a smile and was leaning over me.

"Ok.." I said my voice trailing off.

After 5 minutes of making sandwiches, we had about 6 of them. 3 apiece. They were ham and cheese. Really good. We sat in the couch and then turned on a movie. We ate the sandwiches while I leaned on him with his arm around me and watch the movie. It was funny. After the movie, we Chiat watched some cartoons Tim 8. That's when my mom got home.

"Hey Max and Nathan. Who wants to go out to eat?"

"Me!!!" I yelled and ran to the car.

After everyone was in the car, my mom asked, "Do you want to go to the Chinese place in town?"

"Yes but we are inviting Maddy." I said and called her.

Maddy-Hey

Max-hey wanna go to the Chinese place in town?

Maddy-heck yeah! Wait for me at my house. I need to get ready.

Max-ok bye!

"Maddy said yes!" I said excited. At dinner we had a lot of weird topics because we were playing would you rather and.m truth or dare while my mom flirted with the waiter. They looked like a good couple but you know I'm just waiting.
