Queen Vera Ames smiled wickedly as her plan slowly fell into place. She finally found the answer that would save her kind. Something that could finally unite everyone and erase all conflict. Her plan in the beginning was to go to a wizard and pay them handsomely for a spell that would reveal one's true self. She wanted to show the humans that they were all one and the same so that her people could finally live in peace, and the world would be in harmony. But that is not what came to pass. For when the spell was cast her willing zombie friends who wanted to help in her mission for peace, turned into bloodthirsty monsters. They slaughtered millions of human lives in their blind rage. The few humans that trusted her kind turned their backs on them and started blaming them for the deaths of their families and friends. Saying that this is what they truly were inside. As the humans retaliated in fear with their weapons and calls of war. The queen gave into her feelings of angst from betrayal of her human comrades. And now she stands above the burning human kingdom.The smell of blood filled the air as her transformed soldiers destroyed everything in sight. This is what was best for her people she said to herself as she watched the world around her burn. This would finally unite everyone and erase all conflict. She walked back into her castle and started to plan the next phase with the wizards. A spell to turn the humans into their kind. And she planned to lead them all into the  new era. The era of the undead.
