There they were cuddled up in front of the fireplace on a cold winter night in their pajamas. Listening to each other's heartbeat. After having a stressful day they could finally relax now that the kids were asleep. Lying down with their arms hooked around each other, awake but eyes closed enjoying each other's presence. Her stroking his arm with her gentle finger light touches that still send tingles up his spine. Him rubbing her back in a soothing manner, working the knots out. Occasionally giving each other a sweet lazy peck wherever they could reach.
Listening to their favorite song of the other's sweet rhythmic breathing. After a few more sweet moments she looked up at him and said,

"Guess how much i love you." Her voice was quiet but her actions conveyed so much to him.

"Guess how much I love you," He said back. His eyes told her the answer.

They leaned in for a kiss.

"Mom, Dad I had a nightmare. Can I come sleep with you."
