Quackity, Sam, and Charlie entered a room with the guards seeing Tubbo and Ranboo sitting on a loveseat in a huge living room. Next to them was the king of the Antarctic, the avian speaking quietly to the other two with a small sympathetic smile. “Your majesty?” Niki called out. The three that seemed to be comfortably sitting looked over, two out of the three tenseing.

“Niki? Jack?” He looked behind his two soldiers seeing three faces he didn’t recognise. He stood up, blue eyes turning to slits. “Are those the other intruders?”

“Yes, they know the other two I think.” The pinkette answered. King Philza’s eyes slowly turned to normal, though he still looked alert.

“I see.” He turned to the two hybrids on the couch for confirmation, and they nodded. Ranboo though let his gaze settle on Quackity a little longer before looking away. “Well, then maybe you guys have more information then they did?” Quackity looked at the two teens with confusion, before realizing what the king before him meant.

“You betrayed Dream?” Sam looked over towards the younger at his words before looking back to the other two. “Why would you do that?” Tubbo stood up abruptly, startling everyone else in the room.

“Did you know about Ranboo? Or the fact he kidnapped Tommy?” Tubbo asks. Quackity looked at the half and half for a moment. He knew about Ranboo, but the news about Tommy being kidnapped was new. Dream had told him he had found the avian abandoned, so he had taken him in to care for him when he asked about the blond. Even though Quackity knew there was more to it since it seemed odd he never questioned it. For Ranboo it was a different story. He knew about Ranboo and the fact he was kidnapped for about a year now. But he never questioned the other on his intentions. Now looking back he should have, since every time he went down to visit the boy he always looked battered and bruised, sometimes even covered in his own blood.

“Yes, I knew about Ranboo.” The human admitted. “But I had no idea Tommy was kidnapped.” He made eye contact with the goat hybrid that now looked extremely angry.

“Do you know about this crystal he’s trying to find?” Quackity slowly nodded.

“Yes, Apollo’s crystal.” Philza paled at the mention of that crystal.

“Did you say the Apollo’s crystal?” Quackity again nodded in conformation. “Well, that's not good.”

“Your majesty?” Jack quietly asked. Philza looked over towards the two guards. “Can we leave now?”

“Yes, in fact go take the rest of the day off.” The two guards brightened up, smiling gratefully at their ruler before leaving the room. After that the older avian turned back to the three people before him.

“What is the Apollo crystal?” Tubbo asked. King Philza paused for a moment.

“Well, the crystal has a lot of history behind it. It’s best we get comfortable before I tell the story.” The rest of them nodded, the three newcomers more awkward than the rest. They sat down on the many couches ready for the blond to explain what the crystal is. “The Apollo was something created by one of the gods. There are two crystals, The Arion crystal which is the crystal of life, and the Apollo crystal which is the crystal of death and destruction.”

“Okay, that doesn’t really help explain why Dream needs Tommy to find this Apollo crystal.” Tubbo grumbles.

“Wait, Dream needs Tommy to find this thing?” Quackity asks. Tubbo glares at the other, nod nods.

“I’m getting to it.” Philza sternly says, obviously not happy with the interruption. The others in the room fell quiet ready for him to continue. “These two gods made these crystals to create the world, even if they both favored death and destruction they loved their creations. But when making them one of the people of that time got their hands on the crystals bringing utter chaos and death to our world. Usually something like this wouldn’t be a huge deal for the gods, but this human almost split the world in two with these crystals, killing over half of the population in the process.” Quackity pressed himself into the back of the couch, getting a bad feeling about this story. “In the mungst of chaos the gods intervened, killing this human and taking the crystals back. But they couldn’t destroy the crystals or remove them from this world, so they had to come up with a different idea. And this idea led to us avians being born.”

“Wait, so the whole purpose of avians was to… protect these crystals?” Sam asked. Philza nodded, leaning back into his seat with a heavy sigh.

“We were originally called the angels of death, and there used to be thousands of us. All these avians were born with wings and different abilities, all to protect these crystals. Us avians can sense where the crystals are, sense when they're in danger, and even use them to an extent that normal humans and hybrids can’t.” One thing confused Quackity.

“How come there are so few of you now?” Philza’s smile disappeared a bit, blue eyes dimming.

“Back when I was a kid I lived in a village with my kind. We were attacked, the people claiming we were too powerful for this earth to inhabit us. I guess we are almost extinct because of how many hybrids and humans are scared of our kind.” He shrugs it off, his smile slowly returning to normal. Quackity frowned at the news though, looking down to his fidgeting hands.

“And Dream wants to get ahold of these crystals?” Sam asks. Quackity looked over towards the creeper hybrid, who looked terrified. Philza confirmed the worst though with a nod.

“Yes, I believe he’s after the crystals. I think he’s trying to take over our universe.” This was a lot to take in.

One day Later. . .

Sapnap and Karl slowly walked up to the Egg kingdom gates. Kale was a bit nervous about this. He hadn’t ever left the Dreamer kingdom before, let alone to enemy territory of said kingdom. Though knowing Sapnap was here was a relief, though the shorter male missed Quackity dearly. Hopefully Sap wasn’t lying and they would find their missing piece, and soon. Walking into the kingdom was more than you would expect from a place called the egg kingdom. It was bright and colorful, though it was obvious red was the dominant color over the others. In the center of the town square was a statue of the Egg, magnificent roots reaching out from under it as if it was some type of plant. Karl raised a brow at it, but questioned it no further. The streets were cheerful and loud. Much like the streets of the Dreamer kingdom.

In all it was a beautiful sight. Though the palace was the main attraction. It was made out of stone but the towers seemed like they could touch the sky, red vines covered it and even though over growth of said plants usually would make something look more beat down or abandoned, it made the castle seem alive with life. The red and gold banner of their kingdom was on display above the main entrance, obviously showing off the pride in their kingdom. In Front of the doors was a guard that looked to be a cat hybrid, he looked more cat than human. Guess the cat side was more dominant? The male took one look at Sapnap and his blue eyes were full of joy. “Sapnap?” He asked. Said blaze hybrid nodded, a huge smile taking over his face. The cat hybrid tackle hugged the other, almost knocking the black haired male over. Sap hugged back though, chuckling at the reaction he got from the other.

“Hey Antfrost.” Karl took note of the name, though he couldn’t help but smile at the cute interaction.

“Jeeze, it’s been what? Three years? It’s good to have you back!” The tan furred male told the other. When the hug ended the soldier seemed to finally catch on there was another person with them. “Who’s this?” Karl smiled, awkwardly waving at the hybrid before him. Subpoena looked behind himself before answering, and as he did he pulled the other into his side.

“This is one of my fiance’s, Karl.” Antfrost seemed confused, then gasped.

“Oh my gods! You're engaged?” Sap nodded, Karl still feeling a bit out of place but laughed anyways at the reaction the other gave to the news. “Of course you would be getting married before me.” Ant growled, but was still smiling, seeming to be happy for the Egg kingdom prince. “But you said fiance’s, does that mean there is another?” The cat hybrid tilted his head, blue eyes sparkling with interest.

“Yeah, there is another but… we don’t know where he is.” The blaze hybrid's voice grew dim as he spoke. Antfrost seemed saddened by the news, but nodded in understanding anyways.
“Do you know what happened?” He asked, them now making their way into the castle.

“He’s going after Technoblade.” Karl was confused why he wasn’t mentioning the fact he was going after tubbo and Ranboo too, while also trying to get Tommy back. But he must have reasons so he didn’t comment on it. “He’s probably in the Antarctic kingdom now, maybe.”

“Well, I’ll leave you to get settled. I’m going to go find your dads and tell them your back, ok?” Sapnap agreed, letting the cat hybrid leave to do as he said he would. In the meantime Sap started walking down the halls slowly.

“Why didn’t you mention any of the other things?” Karl asked. Sapnap looked down to the brownette, a nervous smile on his face.

“Well, I guess I didn’t want to bring it up. I plan on telling my parents about it though, when I talk to them about the prophecy.” He explained. “I’ll be bringing you along since you will be involved, if you were wondering.” Karl nodded, sighing loudly.

“So much is happening at once.” He muttered. Sap rubbed the others shoulder in a comforting way, sighing heavily as if agreeing with the other.

“We’ll figure everything out and soon it’ll go back to the simple days, I promise.” Karl knew he could trust the other, but it all seemed too far-fetched for his liking. He knew something was going to happen, he knew something was going to go wrong. He just didn’t know what yet.
