Kise opens his wallet to see a picture of you two happy and laughing like always, much like a candid shot of you scolding him for teasing you. He smiled and went off to the recording studio where he would be recording a song.

"Are you ready?" Kise asked a little boy in the other room.

"Yeah! I can't wait to see you sing! Kise!"

"Why won't you call me daddy??" Kise whined at the 6 year old boy.

"Because you're not." The boy said in a very salty way. "But let's not stall! Come on let's go!!" The boy pulled Kise outside and they went off. When they arrived Kise left the boy in his room where he usually waits before recording.

"Be good, (Kid's Name)." He told the (Name) and he nodded happily in reply to Kise.

"Great." Kise smiled and left the room.

While walking in the hallway, Kise caught sight of Kuroko who he kept passing Kuroko nothing but glares until they passed each other. All was silent until Kuroko turned around.

"It's been years, Kise."

"Yeah..."

"It's nice to see you again." He waited for Kise to reply or at least stop walking, but he didn't.

"It's not for me..." Kise whispered to himself but was heard by Kuroko. Kuroko looked down, saddened by his old friend's reply and simply went to continue his own business

Kise stared at the equipment he was to use for the recording. A bunch of people crowding the other room with Kise's manager and other staff members that would like to hear Kise's new song before it would even come out and one more person who Kise wouldn't even turn to look at, Kuroko.

As Kise breathes in, he remembers your smiling face that made his heart sting a little bit. With his first words in the song everybody had goosebumps crawling over their skin.

I was fine with the men,
That would come into your life now and again,
I was fine cuz' I knew that they didn't really matter...until you.

At the last two words, Kise had, again, glared viciously at Kuroko for a moment and went back to his singing.

I was fine, when you came,
And we fought like it was all some silly game,
Over her, who she choose,
After all these year I've never thought I'd loose.

"Hey (Name)-Chii!" Kise called out to you as you sat beside the driver's seat, infront of him. "Wanna go to Mcdonalds later after work?"

"Oh, Sorry Kise, but I had plans." You replied with sorry yet smiling face.

"With Kuroko again...?" Kise whispered under his breath as he pouts and leans towards the window like a little boy having a tantrum.

"What was that, Kise?" You asked him because you literally did not hear anything but mumbles.

"Ah it's nothing...it was nothing haha..." He replied, waiving his hands like a little kid and you simply shrugged.

It's over isn't it?
Isn't it? Isn't it over?
It's over isn't it?
Isn't it? Isn't it over?

Everyone stared in awe of the feeling brought upon Kise's singing. Kuroko clenched his hands in grief as he stared at Kise's depressed expressions as he continued to sang perfectly, moving everyone who would hear it.

You won, and she chose you,
And she loved you, and she's gone...

Kise flinched a little bit in pain but bore with it and continued. The pain in his face was obvious, making you want to cry, but you weren't there. Not any more.

It's over isn't it...why can't I move on?

"Hey Kuroko, (Name)-chii is so cute isn't she?" Kise chuckled thinking of you, leaning his chin on both of his hands as Kuroko listened to his rants and stories with an expression that didn't seem to match Kise's mood.

"One time I showed her Tekken..and can you believe it? She doesn't know tekken! So when I showed her, she just played the whole time! She didn't neglect her job, but she kept ignoring me because she was fighting Jin Ka--" Kise went on and on in a fast pace until Kuroko finally spoke.

"Kise..."

"....W-what is it? Is there something wrong?" He asked, cheerful expression slowly fading, transitioned into worry.

"I...I asked (Name) out." Kise went silent.

"You what?"

"I confessed to her." Kuroko faced Kise who had a surprised expression that was trying to look calm and did a very good job at it.

"Oh...what did she say?" Kise hung on his seat, very much worried and yet still calming down because Kuroko his closest friend that he would like to respect.

"She said she felt the same way..." Kise dropped back to his seat and looked forward, actions, Lazy. Expression, Shocked.

"Why are you telling me this...?"

"Because you're my friend, I won't do anything behind your back."

"For how long?" Kuroko turned to him, confused. Kise clenched his fist and bit his tobgue a little bit.

"What?" Kuroko asked.

"How long were you going out?"

"....2 weeks." Both went silent for a few seconds. Kise broke it with a loud sigh. He chuckled and turned to Kuroko.

"I'm happy for you buddy! You're real lucky!" He said cheerfully. Kise looked at his watch. "Aw, Damn! My break's over! Sorry Kuroko but I gotta bail." Kise stood up and went straight towards the exit.

"Kise!" Kuroko called, he stopped. "I'm sorry." Kise didn't say anything but just smiled at him and left.

War and Glory, Re-invention,
Fusion, Freedom, Her attention,
Out in day light, my potential,
Bold, precise, experimental,

"What took you so long? You should've been back 15 minutes ago." You scolded Kise as he came back with reddish eyes, you got worried so you stopped speaking and gave him some time. Brushing the fact that he seemed to lack sleep or probably rubbed his eyes too much, you didn't believe he would cry or could cry, so you tried to change a subject, starting a conversation with him.

"Hey Kise, don't you have Basketball practice now? You're going to be late." You informed him as he sat down after going out for his break.

"I'm quitting basketball." He stated.

"Huh?? Why??" You asked, rushing to him in shock. He was good, you thought he could be the best and you knew be. The news surprised you but you respected his decision not knowing why yet.

"So I can work full time with you." Kise wrapped his arms around you, surprising you even more.

What am I now in this world without her?
Petty and dull with a nerve to doubt her...
What does it matter it's already done,
Now I've got to be there for her son.

Kuroko passed to think over the lyrics in that part, something seemed off but he couldn't pin point what. Everything was pointed to him and he didn't feel comfortable on how his old friend would rant over in a song where he was involved in so he left the studio

It's over isn't it?
Isn't it? Isn't it over?
It's over isn't it?
Isn't it ? Isn't it over?

"Aww, that's so sweet Kise." You smiled, happy that someone like Kise would like your company and respected his decision to put his work on top priority from basketball. Kise was like a brother to you, something you didn't tell him so he doesn't know. As you both cuddled in both different views, you heard the door open and close. You quickly looked behind you to see Kuroko.

"Kuroko!" You greeted happily, not knowing or understanding the situation. Kuroko looked confused and angered, after a few moments of silence, he rushed outside.

"Kuroko?" You questioned and went to follow him but Kise stopped you as he grabbed your wrist.

"Don't." He said.

"What?"

"Stay with me. Please." He tightened his grip on you as you felt his fingers trembling on your skin.

"Wha...? Kise..." You heard the door close and you slowly slipped your hand away from Kise's and ran outside, leaving Kise to stare at the door with eyes widened and tears triggered to flow down.

"Kuroko!" You called.

You won! And she chose you!
And she loved you and she's gone!

Kise sang at the top of his lungs with passion and emotion that brought the people hearing it to tears, bringing himself to tears as well as everyone saw a tear trickle down his chin.

It's over isn't it...?
Why can't I move on...?

"That's not true...." Kise denied. "No! Shut up!" He ran outside the studio and stopped when he finally calmed down his anger. Kise punches the wall, over and over again, thick tears flowing down his face and his wails were filled with pain and agony that nobody could bear to hear it without getting stung with grief or pity.

"That's not true! She's okay! I know it....I know it.." His feet fell weak, standing up itself was a struggle to him, his whole world shattered.

"She's still alive...(Name)..."

It's over isn't it...?
Why can't I move on...?

Kise let out a deep breath accompanied with a tear drop that heavily trickled down his chin. Everybody was so amazed, so impressed and was very pleased with the song except for the singer itself.

"It's all over, (Name)-chii, isn't it?" He stated under his breath as the staff turned of the mic as they chat about their opinions and comments about his song, while he stands there still stuck in the past. "It's been 7 years....I miss you...."

This is the best make cover I've seen so far you could have just listened to the song while reading or whatevs and not watch but either way I was so inspired and moved by this song that it took my two weeks to move on from me, actually I still haven't so I'm sharing this feeling with you! Hope you loved the song as much as I did!

Oh and I hope by now that you caught up to understand that the slanted parts are the songs and the underlined ones were flashbacks 😁😁
