A World without Death unless It is from Killing
Celia worships the God of Death and sends people his way as sacrifices. She is feared by many, and so, many will try to stop her. When they succeed, her soul is sent to the very God she worships. Opposite to her expectations of congratulations, he gives her words of disappointment and dissatisfaction. As punishment for abusing his name for downright murder, she is sentenced to be reborn in a world where death is close to nonexistent due to high technological advances and collect souls from people who are happy and content with dying.
A light blinds her. As it fades, she sees a familiar face, her mother. Then, a man walks in, an unfamiliar face, but he is her current father.
Years passes and she begins school. Everyone seems happy, and she simply thinks that they are perfect souls for her God; however, no one seems to mention death, dying, or even getting sick. Even in the previous life, her mother struck ailment and died soon after.
One day, after school, she waits for her parents, who are running late. A mysterious man walls up to the teacher and says he is to pick Celia up. Hesitant, the teacher asks, and before he can reply, Celia sees his face and recognizes her father from her past life and calls out for him. The teacher and the man are taken aback, but the man goes along with it since that is his plan from the start.
Quickly after leaving the premises of the school, the man proceeds to kidnap Celia. He ties her to a chair in an unknown place. Memories flood her mind as she notices the scene is familiar. Despite being in a different world, similar events are occurring. The man, her past father, is going to commit the same crime he has done: familicide.
