(Aiichirou Nitori) Masculinity?
A/n: It has been requested that Nitori should be written next so here it is! I'm probably going to end up doing Momo next and Makoto last (Save the best for last?). No idea yet. Shout out to aiichanx for the idea, I finally gotten the inspiration to type all this out.
Also, just realizing, my Rei oneshots have the LEAST amount of notes on here? I honestly don't understand XD One of my best friends is crazy over him so I guess I expected the same amount of love? I don't know but I guess that means less competition for her.
Before I leave yall to it, anyone watching Uta no Prince-sama? I just started the first season and OMG, I love it so much! The multiple guys to love, they can all sing, and the amount of cuteness and funniness? This is like the perfect anime for me. I can't believe it took me this long to watch it. It's going to take me a while until I get to the most recent season but I'm gonna do my best to binge watch it all (just as I did with Parks and Recreation. I seriously just finished that show a couple days ago.)
But, anyway, enjoy this oneshot everyone! {Warning: I have shamelessly put my oc in here. Whoops}

"Aii-chan, where are you?" I muttered out into my phone as I reached the gates of Samezuka Academy. My (e/c) eyes scanned the place in awe at how much people were here today.
"I-I'm erm... I..." My boyfriend's voice trailed off at the other end of the line after the series of stammering.
I pouted as I tried to listen to the speaker since I heard some muffled voices. "Aii-chan?"
"I'm sorry, (F/n)-chan! B-But I got to--EEP! (F/n)?" A deeper toned voice replaced Nitori's.
With furrowed brows, I asked, "Hello? Who is this? What happened to Aii?"
"It's Rin."
"Oh! Rin-kun!" I piped up, letting out a relieved sigh over the fact that my silver haired boyfriend wasn't suddenly kidnapped. "What are you guys doing? I'm already here at the festival and Aiichirou won't tell me where you guys are."
"Come inside the school, we'll be the third door to your right as you enter," the Samezuka swim captain answered me.
"Thanks so much, Rin-kun!" I replied with a smile.
I heard some scuffling at the other end once again and my boyfriend's voice returned. "P-Please! You don't have to come over, (F/n)-chan. I can meet up with you on my break."
"Aii-chan, we've been together for a couple months now. I want to see you and support you. I'm coming whether you like it or not," I huffed. "I'll see you soon!"
Before he could get another word out, I hung up the phone. I then continued my walk to the building. I followed Rin's direction and found myself in front of a door closed off with a black curtain and a sign hanging above it. "The Maid Cafe of Hell?" I gasped excitedly. I hurried into the room and was instantly greeted with a Butler Rin and a Maid Momo. I let out a squeal of delight. "This is a lot better than I expected!"
"Hello, and welcome to our Maid Cafe, (F/n)," Rin greeted me in a very professional tone. He also handed me a menu for their cafe.
"(F/n)-san, please look away!" Momo shrieked while covering his burning face.
"Heh? But you look amazing!" I commented with a bright smile. "Does this mean Aii is a maid too?" I glimpsed around the room at all the Samezuka swimmers who were clad in the frilly outfit. It seems that only the third years weren't maids. Finally, I spotted my boyfriend serving at one table. "Aii-chan!"
Just as he finished setting down the drinks at the table he was at, I attacked him into a hug. His whole body felt hot to the touch, possibly from embarrassment. It makes sense now as to why he didn't want me to come. "(F/n)-chan!" Aiichirou covered his crimson face with the menus he had. Y-You weren't supposed to see m-me like this!"
I uncovered his face. "You look so cute though! Everyone here does," I reassured him. I gave him a quick kiss on his cheek, which didn't help with his flushed face. I stepped back so I could get a full view of his body. "Kawaii!"
"(F/n)-chan, please," he muttered out with a pout, his hands keeping his short skirt down so to not flash anyone.
"Serve me, ok? I'm kind of thirsty," I chimed as I went to an empty table to sit in. I was getting giddy, he looks so precious in that outfit! My boyfriend followed after me with his small notepad and pen in hand. "What would you recommend, Aii-chan?"
He still looked flustered over my presence but he slowly got used to it as he put on a serious aura. "I know that we can prepare (f/d) for you."
"Ooh, I'll have that then," I beamed at him while giving him my menu.
"I'll be right back then." I watched my boyfriend walk away to the back of the classroom to the closed off area and disappear behind it. I slipped out my phone so I could take beautiful pictures of all the Samezuka swimmers in their outfits. Opportunities like this come so rarely!
"Oi, (h/c) haired girl!" I stopped my picture taking to glance over the person who was supposedly calling me. At the table just in front of mine, a group of boys were looking over at me. "You look kind of lonely over there. Would you like to join us?" The blond one of the posse offered.
"No thanks," I responded, hanging my head low to keep my gaze on my phone screen. Hopefully, they'll just leave me alone.
"Oh come on, babe. Someone like you shouldn't be all alone," the same blond piped up. He then stood up, walked over to my table and took a seat across from me. I gawked at him. The dude was damn bold, I'll give him that. "The name's Haku. I'm from Kyoto Fushimi. I would have noticed such a beautiful gal if you went to our school. What might your name be?"
"Oh, it's 'none of your business'," I quipped out of my irritation. "And taken."
"With who? That maid?" Haku scoffed with an amused chuckle. "Didn't know you swing that way."
"That maid is a boy," I corrected him instantly with obvious venom in my voice. "Do you not notice you're at an all-boys school or what?"
"Well, either way, wouldn't you want to be with someone that is actually a man? What are you doing dating boys like him, huh?"
"Because I like him and you're annoying the hell out of me. Take the damn hint and leave me alone," I hissed at him. His friends, which were eavesdropping on our mature conversation, let out oohs over Haku's fail.
"Man, never mind then. Go ahead and be with that boy, bitch--"
"Excuse me!" I glimpsed up and noticed my boyfriend had returned with my drink in hand. "At our cafe, we don't like having such rude language used!" Aii scowled at him. "Also, please leave my girlfriend alone."
Haku stood up, towering over my swimmer a good couple of inches. "Please? Seriously, what are you gonna do, huh, runt?" He threatened. "Are you going to slap me and pull my hair?"
I was about to burst out of my seat and give this guy a good beating but a firm hand landed on my shoulder, preventing me to do so. Behind me, Rin, Sousuke, and Momo stood with a scary air to them, so scary that it sent a chill to my bones. "We don't serve rude people in our cafe," Rin growled at Haku. "Leave now or we will personally make you leave. Also take your friends with you."
Haku may have been a tall, fairly toned guy but he was at least smart enough to not take on these boys into a fight. He and his goons hurried out of the cafe without any complaints.
"What a jerk," Sousuke snarled, his aqua eyes still glaring at the door they exited to.
"That guy definitely needs to learn how to take no as an answer," Momo grumbled out, his arms crossed over his chest. The redhead then gave a good pat to Aiichirou's back, catching him by surprise. "You would've given him the ole one two, heh, future captain?"
I looked at my boyfriend, who seemed frazzled by what had happened. I took his hand in mine and gave it a loving squeeze. By the soft smile he gave me, he appreciated it. "Don't worry about it, ok?" I told him. "They're gone now."
"I guess," he mumbled out, a tint of sadness in his voice. I frowned at this.
"Aii, go ahead and take a break," Rin told him all of a sudden. "You and (F/n) should hang out and have fun."
"Are you sure, Rin-senpai?" Aii questioned.
"Yeah, of course," the magenta haired captain confirmed. He, Sousuke, and Momotarou then dispersed to get back to work.
"O-Ok. I'll go ahead and get changed, (F/n)-chan," Aii told me before scurrying away as well.
While waiting, I sipped away on my (f/d). I couldn't help but think about how crestfallen Aii seemed to be after that small encounter. Hopefully, he didn't take Haku's idiotic words to heart and he knows that I want him and him only... I like him for as he is... No, I love him for as he is.
"(F/n)-chan!" I got onto my feet just as Aii approached me, now clad in his Samezuka school uniform. I quickly finished my drink and started to rummage through my bag to get money out. "No, it's ok. It'll be on me," Aiichirou said. I gave him a nod.
Our fingers intertwined and the two of us left the cafe after saying goodbye to a few Samezuka swimmers on the way out. This very moment of having Aii to myself was just what I needed. I snuggled closer to the silver-haired boy as we began exploring the festival.
Left and right, we tried delicious treats and gotten little trinkets. At a few booths, they held games you'd usually see at big fairs. You name it, bottle throws, popping balloons with darts, shooting games, and so much more. Being in this festival makes me want to attend Samezuka... Shame that this is an all-boys school. Also, it would've been a lot easier to see Aiichirou.
"(F/n)-chan, I want to try that!" Aii said all of a sudden, tugging towards whatever he was talking about. I followed his line of sight and spotted the strength game that you'd have to use all your power to use the hammer to ring the bell on top. I gave my boyfriend an odd glance but he seemed too excited to notice, so I let him take me there. He paid the wrestling team whom manned the game and took the hammer into his hands. A gasp escaped my lips when it nearly slipped out from his grip.
"Aii-chan, are you sure about this?" I questioned him in an unsure tone.
He nodded his head, baring a grin towards me. "Hai! I want to try to win you that teddy bear." He prepared himself to hit the target, throwing the hammer over his shoulder. And then, with all his might, he swung forward, getting the target perfectly. But, sadly as I expected, Aiichirou barely got the ball of the ground. A look of despair crossed his face over his failure.
I gripped onto his arm and rested my chin on his shoulder. "Hey, it's ok, Aii-chan. Don't worry about it," I comforted him. Despite my words, he still looked a little saddened at how little he did. "C'mon, let's go find something else to do. This game is probably rigged so it'd be hard to win..."
My voice trailed off when Sousuke came around with a brunette girl latched onto his arm. I raised an eyebrow at the sight, since when did the aqua eyed male have a girlfriend? "Oh, Aii, (F/n). Hey," Sousuke greeted the two of us. He glimpsed over to the girl he was with and a sheepish expression crossed his face when she smiled back at him. "This girl here is Mizushima Akiko... Akiko, this is Nitori Aiichirou, who's in my swim team, and (L/n) (F/n), his girlfriend."
"Ohayo!" The brunette girl chirped. "It's nice to meet you two. You guys make an adorable couple!" Her compliment didn't fail to bring a blush to both mine and Ai's cheeks. She turned her attention to the male beside her, a mischievous glint in her violet eyes as she pointed at the game. "Say, Sou-chan, bet you can't ring that bell, ne?"
Sousuke let out a huff of annoyance over her accusation. "Of course, I can. Even with a busted shoulder, I can easily ring it."
"Prove it~" Akiko smirked at him. She, Aii, and I watched as Sousuke went through the same progress of paying the guy and getting the hammer ready to swing. Even though he was wearing his own school uniform, his muscles still bulged through the cloth. With one, powerful blow to the target, a ring chimed through the air. Wow, Sousuke made it look so easy to win!
He smugly retrieved his prize from one of the wrestlers and returned back to us. "I told you I can ring it," he scoffed while handing Akiko the teddy bear. After a couple seconds, his face contorted to a look of realization. "Wait, you never doubted me. You just wanted me to win you something."
Akiko giggled as she hugged the teddy bear into her chest. "You sure are competitive, Sou-chan!" She gripped onto the crook of his elbow once again. "Well, Aiichirou-kun, (F/n)-chan, it was nice meeting the two of you! Hope you have an awesome rest of the day here." Akiko then dragged away an irritated Sousuke with her.
I waved goodbye to the duo... couple? I'm still not sure. I'll have to ask Sousuke later about that...
I focused back to my boyfriend, who looked even more heartbroken and quiet than before. "Aii-chan?" I called out to him. His azure orbs dart over to me once hearing my voice. I could see the pain swimming in his eyes before his head hung low. I frowned when I felt his body tense. "C'mon. Let's do something else, ok?" I tugged onto his arm and he followed after me without any restraint.
Aii wasn't putting up much of a fight, but I could feel him dragging behind me, his feet barely leaving the ground as we walked. I let out a sigh and lead him to an empty area outside of the festival and sat in one of the benches. Aii didn't even question me as to why I brought him here. With a growl, I cupped his face into my hands and crashed my lips onto his. By the squeak that left him, I could tell he took this by surprise. After a second, he finally calmed down and kissed me back with a hand gently resting on my waist.
I pulled away from him, a tender smile along my lips, and ran my fingers through his short, soft locks. "Aii-chan, was the reason you wanted to try that game was because of what happened in the café?" I asked him. By the look of guilt on his face, I knew I had hit the bulls-eye. "Oh, Aii..."
"I-I wasn't able to protect you, (F/n). What kind of boyfriend am I if I can't protect the people I care about?" he sputtered out, his voice cracking. "You deserve someone so much better... Someone who could actually protect you, like Yamazaki-senpai. You saw him. He hit that bell effortlessly while I could barely make it a foot into the air. I keep wondering why you have stayed with me for as long as you did."
"Aii, stop," I interjected while wrapping my arms around his neck to cuddle into him. "Stop. I like you for who you are, Aii-chan. If I was looking for someone like Sousuke-kun, then I guess that would've happened already and I wouldn't be dating you. I didn't care for masculinity, I wanted to date you for many other reasons. You're friendly, you're amazing to talk to, you're a great listener, you're considerate, hardworking and dedicated. Your good looks are just the icing of the cake. I love you just as you are, Nitori Aiichirou, and that's not going to change."
"I love you so much, (F/n)-chan," he muffled into my shoulder, holding me tightly in his embrace. "I'm so happy to have you as my girlfriend."
"And I'm happy to have you as my boyfriend." I tore away from him. "Aii-chan, let's go find some sweet treats to munch on, ne?" With a nod of his head, we stood up and walked back to the festival hand in hand.
