Each day, the butterfly swimmer would watch the same girl from afar. Her name was (Y/N) with pretty (E/C) eyes that matched perfectly with her (H/C) hair. Rei wanted to approach her but he felt she was out of his league. She was...beautiful.

"Just talk to her" Nagisa told Rei, silently creeping up from behind.

"Ah! D-Don't just do that! Ugh...I can't. She's too beautiful..." he said in awe, looking at the girl who was in her own little world as she looked out the window.

"If you don't, I'll ask her out for you~" the blonde teased. Rei's violet eyes widened.

"N-no! I'll t-talk to her!" He said. Nagisa patted his head.

"Yay~!" Nagisa cheered. "Now, go get her, tiger!"

*the next day*

Today was the day that Rei was gonna do it! He was gonna confess to (Y/N)!

"I can do it.. I can do it.." He mumbled to himself over and over as he walked to his homeroom, which was one of the few classes he and (Y/N) had together. He walked into the classroom, and there she was, looking out the window in her own little world again. He would get mesmerized at the way the sun shined on her face, lighting up the beautiful features of her face. Nervously clearing his throat, he walked over to where she was sitting.

"(Y-Y/N)..." she heard someone say to her. She looked over to see the one and only Rei Ryugazaki that she had been crushing on for quite some time. Her face tinted pink, as his did too.

"Oh, hello Rei!" She said, trying to keep cool. The little butterfly rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Well, I uh, I...um..you see, I, uh, really like you. And I-I was wondering if y-you possibly felt the s-same..." he said, stuttering, making the entire situation that much cuter. "I-If you don't, it's totally fine! Bu-" his words were hushed by (Y/N) putting her hand over his mouth.

"I like you too, Rei" she giggled cutely, making his heart almost beat out of his chest.

"R-really?! I mean, would you be my girlfriend?" She then hugged him tightly, "of course!"

Not long after, the both of them heard "So Rei does have guts!" The both of you laughed and hugged each other a bit longer. :3
