"You're worthless Vanessa!" He screamed as he slammed the door. She sat against the kitchen cupboard. Her body burned from the prior events. She pulled herself up and into the bathroom.
She looked at the medicine cabinet; hot red blood dripped from her nose and tears fell from her eyes. As she opened the cabinet her reflect was replaced with multiple pill bottles old and new.
She's never thought about this before, but know it seems like the only option...
They quickly ran down corridors, and up the stairs, after four long weeks she had finally woken up, and neither of them was there to see it. One of them was always with her, but they had decided they would spend one night praying together.
It had been a long day in court, and Vanessa's feet were practically bleeding into her slippers, but she didn't care. It also didn't matter to Lin that the smell was so familiar as he had been here only two hours ago.
Once they reached her room, they stopped at the door. How were they suppose to do this, there are books on parenting that they had read when V first found out about Seb. There surely had to be books on this, written by old white men nearly retired but wanting the title of medical practician and novelist.
He had written his play, and he was going to write this book any way he wanted. He opened the door, and she looked up to them. She hadn't cried since she woke up and now as a single tear slid down her cheek she didn't know it if was the happiness of disdain.
After many hugs and I love you, she finally spoke up. "is it wrong to ask why." Vanessa says, Genevieve nods.
"I heard you, before the premiere party," she says, the parent's faces go still as it replays in there heads.
I forgot how much the hospital reminds me of it, of the time when I was exactly like her...
"wait?! You're serious?!" he asks, the smile on his face is so big it will leave its own set of smile lines.
"we are having another baby, Lin," she says. After their celebration a thought hits him.
"why do you look so down?" she asks, he sighs running a hand through his hair.
"can we handle a teenager, a toddler and a newborn?" he asks, she looks down.
"maybe we should call services..." Vanessa says, that's when she stopped listening.
But its not where the conversation ended and thankfully...
Neither did her life
