I wish I could go back in time and tell her that I love her, that's she's worth love. Maybe the reveal night would have gone differently. Maybe all the tears, screams and harmful words wouldn't have happened after we headed home

    A loud scream woke up Lin, for a moment he thought he was hearing things till he heard another and the sound of breaking glass. He woke Vanessa whom then called her parents to pick in Seb.

Something was wrong. Very wrong.

   As Vanessa tended to string Seb out Lin had been at the bathroom door frantically trying open it or get his daughter to speak to him.

   "Nevi, sweet girl what's wrong?! Please open the door." He begged.

   "Go away I'm not worth it" and then another scream. On the other side of the wood doors her wrists were burning, blood guzzled onto the floor where she sat, the cold tile comforting her burning body.

    She was starting to feel dizzy. She weakly grabbed a piece of paper from the counter and slide it under the door.

   He picked it up and read it, Years in his eyes. "No no!" He said, Vanessa and him pushed and slammed the door but it was no use. "Vanessa stand back" he said, she took a few steps back and he forcefully slammed into the door.

   An ambulance had already been called and Nevi knew it. "Finish this or the ambulance will get you" she said, she filled the tub to the brim and get in.

    Cold water wet their feet and it came out from under the door. "NEVI!" Vanessa nearly screamed. Tears were pouring out of the poor mothers eyes. As Lin was lining up to run and the door again she beat him to hit. Smashing the door to the ground and her going with it. She got up quickly pulling her baby from the water, she was breathing.

   For Nevi, she saw the last look on her mothers face. Swollen lips and puffy eyes. She could see sadness in her eyes. 'This pain will be less then the pain you will cause them over time' she thought.
   But look in Vanessa's eyes wasn't sadness, or anger, or disdain. It was a look of promise. 'My baby will not die tonight' it said...

I never break my promises.... especially not that one
