(A/N idk if I mentioned what season it was but let's just say it's winter okay)

Genevieve woke up to a faint weeping, she sat up in the bed and placed her feet on the floor immediately making them cold. Disregarding it she walked down the hall, she passed a room where the weeping got louder.

   She gently opened the door to find Sebastian standing against his crib. "Hey buddy" she says softly, she looks over to the math clock Vanessa bought that Lin tweeted about a while ago.(this is a real thing if you didn't know)

    "It's 4 am Sebastian" she says, he jumps and whimpers.

   "Nevi!" He says holding his arms up, she smiled and picks him up she takes the small quilt and wraps it around her back around around to the front, covering him in the process.

    Though the heat was on it was still a little cool from the night but this wasn't so bad as there was condensation on the windows.

    "Agua" Sebastian says, she walks to the kitchen and grabs a small cup, she fills it with water. Sebastian takes it with two hand and drink the water. "Tanks" he says, the little boy rests his head on her chest.

     "Want to go back to sleep?" She asks. He shakes his head attempting to hug her.

    "No Nevi, be with you" he says. She nods.

    "Let's do something cool" She says, he nods. She walks over to a window and wipes her finger down the glass, surely enough a path where she drew is there.

    "Seb, what should I draw?" She asks, he thinks for a moment, she holds in her giggle.

    "Mama! Padre!" He says quite excitedly.

     "Shhh we don't want to wake them though" she says, he nods and snuggles into the quilt wrapped around the two of them. She looks around the living room and finds a picture of Vanessa, Lin and Sebastian.

    She takes it carefully off the mantel and brings it to the window. Sebastian watches as she slowly creates the faces he's known all his life on the window...

     "Lin...." Vanessa says running a hand through his hair. He stirs and finally opens his eyes.

     "What's wrong? If it's Seb I'll get him" he says sitting up. She hushes him and takes his hand. She pulls him down the hall and points to the window.

    He looks over and sees Genevieve and Sebastian, she's got the quilt wrapped around them. "Is that us?" He says looking at the window.

    "It's the picture from the mantel"  she says, he smiles.

    "Ready to go back to bed?" She asks quietly, Lin smiled and she draws on his forehead.

    "Sleep with Nevi" Seb says with a yawn, Lin smiles and looks at Vanessa. Vanessa pulls him into their room, she waits till they go by and then they sneak and look into Genevieve's room.

     "He loves her" Vanessa says, Sebastian his tightly squeezing her torso to the best of his ability.

    "So do I" says Lin, Vanessa smiles.

      I snuck back out and took a picture of the window, it's been my screen saver for years...
