The boys felt like a cool wave had just passed over them, suddenly their bodies rigid and their hearts pounding in their chests.

"We need to move then," Jimin whispered quietly, the only one that had enough control over their bodies to be able to speak. "We need to move before they get here." 

Yoongi was the one to snap out of it next. "Those fuckers." He whispered. "Hye how much time do we have until they get here?" 

"They'll be here before sunrise." Her eyes were still glazed over like she was in some sort of trance. Yoongi was mesmerized by this, he hadn't seen someone like her before, nevermind it in action twice. Hye opened her mouth to speak before her eyes rolled back and she hit the soft dirt leaving the boys in a state of shock.

"I hate to say this, but we need to put her on the cart," Hoseok whispered. "It's not the nicest place but it is the only way to get out of this area before they get here." It was almost as if Hoseok speaking brought them all out of the trance that they were in and they all moved about in a relatively calm way. Packing up the camp methodically ready to go as soon as they could.

Taehyung was left with the task of sorting out Hye. He looked down at the girl, nudged her with his foot to just double-check that she wasn't going to wake up before he bent down and scooped her up. "You need to cut down on the boar." He chuckled to himself before placing her on the blanket that Jungkook had laid across the cart. Hye didn't even move when he accidentally let her head hit the solid wood with a little bit too much force.

He had to admit, he was worried about her. But after her performance of saving him the other day, he had no doubt she'd be fine once she had rested up. He turned on his heel to go see if anyone else needed help when a sharp pain shocked him into stillness before he hit the floor on his knees, he gritted his teeth and hoped that nobody could see him right now. 

Once they set off, Jungkook neared Taehyung. "Are you okay? I mean you've had a bit of a rough week and-"

"And what Jungkook?" Taehyung winced as the cart hit a rock and Hye moved about lifelessly. 

"And I know you secretly care about Hye more than you want to admit to anyone." Jungkook retorted. Taehyung knew that the youngest of the group had figured it out before anyone else, but he didn't let the boy know that.

"I just want to thank her for saving my life. That's all." He grumbled. Jungkook rolled his eyes slightly and jogged to catch up with Jimin and take over pulling the cart for him.

Taehyung watched as she was laid there, her body moving slightly when they went over a particularly bumpy section of path. They were running out of daylight and had barely made any progress on moving away from the campsite.

"Keep your eyes peeled. It's getting dark. We can't stop and make a campfire tonight, we have to keep going." Namjoon called out from ahead. Taehyung shoved his hands in his pockets, the night air becoming chilly. The wind gently flowed through the leaves and branches on the trees, and in normal light, this wouldn't have been an issue for Taehyung, but in the dark and with the looming threat of demons? It made his body feel tense.

The sun began rising when Hoseok said they had travelled enough to be somewhat safe. Jimin immediately sat down where he stopped, his head brushing the cart handles. He was covered in a thin sheen of sweat from pulling the cart in turns with Jungkook and Taehyung. Seokjin immediately began collecting stones and rocks to put in a circle to contain a campfire, and Jungkook began to take out a slab of boar meat that was wrapped in a cloth to prepare. Taehyung looked at Hye and his hand subconsciously rose to the black markings across his neck. "Hurry and wake up, stop being selfish." He muttered under his breath. Jungkook heard this and glanced up at the man before him, a small smile coming upon his face.
