The man with the scars around his wrists sat there and watched the girl intently, she stunk as if she was a peasant but she had the clothes on as if she was a higher class lady. It had confused him, and he was trying to decipher who she was without disturbing her as he was sure the elder of the group would've murdered him in his sleep if he had done so.

He held the piece of fabric she had in her hand before she collapsed in his own. The material was soft and rich - something he would've stolen off a high class lady before he had gotten caught. But the mud covering her from head to toe, the hunger, and the dehydration said she was one of the lowest of the low.

He was confused, to hell with it, even the leader was confused and it was hard to confuse him.

"She's awake!" He hollered the moment her eyes opened causing Hye to wince slightly. Six other men ran towards the girl on the grassy growth under the tree and stared down at her. She started to panic again and she attempted to sit up in a rush and move back away from the seven men now staring intently at her but to no success she simply managed to prop herself up slightly.

"Who are you?" The man with the black markings on his neck asked.

"I went out and collected some clean water for you, and some meat." The man with the lighter hair knelt beside her. "Is it okay if I help you up so you can eat and drink?"

"You could've poisoned it." She croaked, glaring at the man.

"If I were to do that, I wouldn't have went out of my way to get you meat. I would've just poisoned the water." He placed the canteen down and the wooden bowl before grabbing her gently and sitting her up against the trunk of the tree. "Now eat and drink. The others will give you space." With that the six men backed off and went back to sitting around the fire. Hye just sat there looking at the man beside her and the tiny chunks of meat in the liquid which had what she assumed was potatoes in back to the man. She gingerly picked up the bowl with the tiny bit of metal she assumed was a spoon and began to eat, her stomach growling with her hunger and she began to eat faster and faster until she was drinking the liquid from the bowl and reaching for the canteen.

Once she had sat there for a little while longer, she stretched out and looked up at the stars through the leaves in the tree. The man had left her side at this point and had rejoined the men around the fire and one by one they began to fall asleep. Hye was awake alone and propped against the tree. She began to rise to her feet, she didn't trust the men one bit so she began walking away from them and hoped it wasn't in the direction of where she had once lived.
