Republic of Menagerie

Everyone is in the room as Ghira walks toward the podium to make an announcement of this raging attack by Atlas. The camera crew from UFA came here to put him on live and thanks to them constructing a new transmission cellular tower, he can broadcast to the world which a tower has connected to the system. Ghira adjusting his neck-tie as he is ready to speak on the microphone.

Ghira: Good Morning, everyone. I am President Ghira of the Republic of Menagerie. I am here because of what happened to our soil 3 days ago. We are having a peaceful time alone when suddenly the three airships hail from Atlas just attacking our nation. They destroy our homes and businesses and attempt to take innocent lives on our soil.

Beacon Academy, Kingdom of Vale

The students are having their time when they hear something announced broadcast to the world and watch, surprising to see Ghira wearing black tailor suit is the one broadcast to the world.

Ghira (on screen): Atlas took innocent lives and there would be more blood to shed if it weren't for our ally who provided us a new era for Faunus.

He said, showing Veronica and Martinez beside him at the left side. This surprised to see faunus wearing a military uniform and a human standing alongside them.

Ghira (on screen) : As such, Atlas is to blame for this attack and the people cried out for retribution. Fortunately, I would allow negotiation on the table to ease down the tension. However, if Atlas won't come to apologize for the actions of taking innocent lives and follow our demands, my ally and I will decide to declare war on Atlas. As for the Atlas government, you have 5 hours to come to Menagerie for negotiation or there will be another Great War more worse than before, and it will be on your blood.

After the broadcast, it left everyone shocked by his words across the world.

Beacon male student 1: Did he really say that?

Beacon male student 2: This is crazy! Menagerie will declare war on Atlas?

Cardin: Ha! That animal is bluffing! Those animal freaks wouldn't start a war against a kingdom.

He said. Team CFVY is shocked after watching the news.

Velvet: T-This can't be real, r-right?

Coco: I'm not sure, bun. But I have a feeling that there will be war soon if those Atlas bastards don't come to ease down the tension quickly.

Meanwhile, Team RWBY and Team JNPR are also shocked as well, mainly Blake who saw her father broadcasting to the world about Atlas' sudden invasion of Menagerie. She started worrying about what happened there when her parents were in danger.

Jaune: I... I can't find the word to describe it.

Ren: Me either.

Yang: Atlas attacking Menagerie! What the hell is that! Why attack Menagerie! Weiss!

Weiss: I don't know! I really don't know what Atlas would do unless... Oh no...

Nora: Why Oh no?

Weiss: I think it was my father's doing.

Ruby: W-What?

Blake: Nevermind that! I'm going out for a while.

She immediately stood up and left the cafeteria to go outside hoping to call.

Weiss: I really don't understand this.

Ruby: What do you mean?

Weiss: "Republic of Menagerie." Since when did they have a kingdom since every kingdom didn't recognize it as a sovereign independent kingdom?

They have no answer to her question and they are very curious about Menagerie being independent and being like other kingdoms.

Ozpin Office Room

Ozpin and Glynda watching the news shocked Atlas air fleet unjustly invading Menagerie. This is troublesome for them as Ironwood is part of the secret group to counter the secret enemy from the shadow.

Glynda: I can't believe they would do that!

Ozpin: Atlas wouldn't ever just invade Menagerie.

Glynda: Ozpin! They just attack those faunus living on that island!

The elevator door opens to see Qrow being half drunk walking in the office.

Qrow: Oz! That Atlas children play just invading Menagerie. How funny is that!

Glynda: Qrow! You're being drunk again!

She said in

Qrow shakes his head off a bit to get rid of the drunk effect and goes back to normal.

Qrow: I just watched the news. Crazy, don't you think? James has the balls to send his soldiers to invade Menagerie and they are lost.

Ozpin: Hmm? How curious that people of Menagerie just win against Atlas and declare independence.

Glynda: Curious? Mr. Ozpin! There's dead faunus people lying on the ground and you call it curious!

She shouted at him, which was surprising for Qrow and started to laugh off.

Qrow: Oh man! I can't believe she's shouting at you like that, Oz.

Glynda: Shut it, Qrow.

Ozpin: Right, my apologies Glynda. I shouldn't say that.

She feels calm now. He cleared out his throat.

Ozpin: Anyway, I should call James right now about this. But I have a feeling he won't answer when meeting the council.

Council room, Kingdom of Atlas

The council members are having a serious meeting after the report of three of their airships were suddenly deported without the authorization from General Ironwood. Then it came back to report that three airships were sent to Menagerie and they were destroyed, along with the casualties of Atlesian military soldiers as well as destroyed robots. Not only that, they got reports that Menagerie has a military arsenal way advanced than theirs, yet they look primitive. But they won't ignore it, they fend off the invasion and destroy the airships and kill soldiers and destroy robots.

Atlas Council member 1: T-This is preposterous! How could Faunus access those military equipment to bested ours!

Atlas Council member 2: And they said they have allies. I see one Faunus woman dressed in a military uniform and another one is a human.

Sleet: Who are those people beside him and where did they come from? For I know their clothes must be from different kingdoms.

Atlas Council member 3: Impossible! There are no other kingdoms beside us! They must be lying.

Camilla: That faunus woman wearing a military uniform is real and I can see her expression is serious. So he was not lying when he said it on the broadcast.

A councilmember scoffed.

Camilla: So anyways, Gen. Ironwood, are you sure you didn't order them to attack Menagerie?

Ironwood: No.I did not authorize you to invade Menagerie. I believe they went rogue and did it their own accord. We are still investigating it.

Sleet put his fingers on his forehead to massage it to remove his frustration.

Sleet: Because of what happened there, everyone thinks we become the aggressor by invading Menagerie.

Atlas Council member 1: How about comments from Mistral? They said what we did is better to quote to quote, "riding of animal freaks on the island."

Sleet: Just ignore that. We don't want everyone to think we support the Menagerie invasion.

Atlas Council member 2: What about Mantle? The reports there are protesting our actions and it was led by a wanted criminal and vigilante, Robyn Hill.

Ironwood: I've already ordered my men to handle the protest.

Camilla:Okay. Right now we are going to fix this. We have the Vytal Festival coming up and I don't have a war with them before the festival even begins. More negativity means more Grimms to come and tear out everything by sensing it.

Sleet: Agreed. All those who accept negotiations with Menagerie, raise your hand.

Most council members raise their hands.

Sleet: All those who oppose?

Nobody raise their hands to oppose it,

Sleet: Then we all agree. We shall go and negotiate Menagerie to ease down the tensions.

Then they were interrupted by Jacque burst in the door and walked towards them and he said.

Jacque: Members of the council!

Ironwood sighs.

Ironwood: Hello, Mr. Schnee. I see you here.

Jacque: Send the entire army to that animal island! They destroy those airships and claim to have military equipment which means they are preparing for war!

Sleet: Mr. Schee!

He shouted.

Sleet: The council has already made a decision. We are going to negotiate with them.

Jacque: What! Negotiate with those animals! Are you out of the mind!

Camella: Mr. Schnee, you should focus on your business and let us do our business on this matter. If you cannot accept it, then you have to deal with it.

Jacque angrily scoffed and turned around from them.

Jacque: You regret this decision!

He walked out the room. Ironwood heavily sighed to see him walking away.

Ironwood: This man would be a pain for all of us...

United Federation of America

Everyone across the states are protesting about Atlas invading Menagerie. Most faunus raise fists and signs to the air and the humans are siding with them. Most wanted to solve this problem with Remnant kingdoms, some wanted to declare war on Atlas.

The police forces are trying to calm them down as they are afraid they will escalate violence and riots. They also bring riot control units if violence and riot are ignited. The news reporters are broadcasting across the states to interview about Atlas unjustly invading Menagerie.

In the Congress, they are having debates about this situation. Both humans and faunus in different political parties are shouting at each other to solve this problem with Atlas. They were almost suggested to wage war on Atlas when Perseus Corporation CEO, Liones White, was able to calm them down and tell them to let the president decide what to do next.

White House

Long: I see... They decide to negotiate with Menagerie to owe some apology, am I right?

OFI Director (hologram): Yes, Mr. President. I heard the report from my agents.

Long: Are they investigating to figure out it was Jacque who carried out the order?

OFI Director (hologram): No sir. Jacque must've deleted everything that relates to his secret request to the Atlesian officer who made deals with him. Shall we send it to Atlas?

Long: No. We keep it for now. Besides, we may have an advantage for this. We'll use it when the time comes. Anything else to report?

OFI Director (hologram): No sir.

Long: Then that will be all, director.

He said. A director calls off the holographic screen. Long moved his chair to the front of the window to look at the view outside. It seems calm and peaceful when living on this continent as the last remaining memory of Earth. He breathes in and out calmly. Then he got a call from his phone so he picked it up.

Long: Hello.

Veronica (on phone): Hey Dad, I do know the OFI told you, right?

Long: 'Yep.

Veronica (on phone): So... What are we going to do about it when they arrive?

Long: We leave it to Ghira. I'm sure he can deal with them. Right now, I want you to pull your men out of sight and remain in their bases until the negotiations are over. I don't want them to know our existence before we reveal ourselves to the world.

Veronica (on phone): I understand. Just hope that we can reveal ourselves from isolation. To be honest, I would likely go anywhere besides other states in two continents.

Long chuckles.

Long: I know, darling. You're so eager to go around freely besides going to every secret mission. I'm sure your sister would say the same.

Veronica (on phone): *chuckles* I know. I'm gonna go now. Bye, Dad.

She ended the call as he leaned back against the chair and put his hands together.

Long: Alright Atlas, make your move.
