6 years earlier...
Fredbear's diner was filled with families, children running around and laughing. A crowd of children stood in front of the stage, watching Fredbear and Spring Bonnie in awe.
Mike was joking around with his friends, stopping when he noticed his little brother, Gabriel. He nudged them, pointing to his brother. They smirked seeing the crying child, unaware of his four bullies.
Mike crept up behind Gabriel, before grabbing him roughly. Gabriel screamed in fear before moving away, tears streaming down his face while his bullies laughed loudly.
"Wow, Mike. Your brother is such a crybaby." Fitz grinned, Gabriel hugging his Fredbear plushie tightly.
"I know a way to make him cry more." Mike grabbed Gabriel's arm, ignoring his pleas and cries as he drags him to the Parts and Service room, pushing Gabriel in there. He quickly closes the doors, locking him in there with the key.
Mike ignored Gabriel pounding on the door, begging Mike to let him out. "M-Mike! P-Pl-Please let me out!"
The group just laughed while walking away, leaving Gabriel in the dim room.
...
Gabriel couldn't stop his tears from coming, even when he wanted to.
It didn't help that the room was very dark, barely any light. The shadows seem to be grinning at him maliciously, their teeth sharper than knives. He pounded onto the door harder, screaming. "Please! Let me out! Anyone! Please!" He nearly choked as he sobbed as he got into a fetal position, wanting to be anywhere but here.
He wished his mother was still alive. He wished his twin sister was by his side. His father... What would he do?
Nothing. Mike wouldn't do anything against their father. Mike didn't used to be this way, he used to be so kind and caring before he hung around with his friends, before their mother died.
Gabriel couldn't do a thing against Mike, he was bigger and stronger. He had his friends while Gabriel was alone. He had no one but himself.
He wanted to be saved from the nightmares at night, he wanted things back the way they used to be.
But things can't go back the way they used to be.
He sobbed, making a silent plead to be saved from the monsters.
...
After what seemed like hours, the door slowly opened. His father stood there, as usual his purple shirt was nice and neat, not a single wrinkle. His father sighed heavily, shaking his head. "Again, Gabriel?"
Gabriel didn't respond, getting up quickly. He hugged his father tightly, tears welling up in his eyes once more. His father picked him up, carrying him out of Fredbear Pizzeria.
Gabriel sniffled the entire time, closing his eyes. For now, he felt safe, as if nothing can hurt him. He knew it won't last for long, his brother would be waiting to scare him...
And the monsters are waiting, too.
