I really have to do a narration? Fine... here it goes.

This here place is Crystal Lake. The local yokels have taken to calling it 'Forest Green' as if changing its name will erase the things that happened here. My dad straight up laughed when he heard about it. When I asked him why, he told me, 'Son, there's nothing you can do that can take away the nightmares once you've lived through them, just ask what was supposed to be your baby mama'. I always thought he was weird for it, but nevertheless, the town officals did their best to hide it with new roads, lakeside condos, and even a new warehouse size Super Mega Ultra S-Mart. That's basically a mall pretending to be a Super Target more Super than Target, just so you know.

But getting a good deal on your housewares won't cover up the blood that's been spilt here. See, I didn't know it at the time, but Crystal Lake is a birthplace so foul that it gives the Deadites a run for their money. A creature that my dad once told me about, something undead. He was drunk when he told me, so you really expect me to believe that shit? And right down the street, the worst nightmare imaginable was dreamed up.

Jason Voorhees, unstoppable, unkillable, and unsanitary. And Freddy Kreuger, child murderer, dream monster, and cursed to spend eternity wearing a Where's Waldo's sweater while looking like Deadpool's ball sack. And it was here at this little summer camp slip-and-slide that these two hack-and-slash horrors met their own bloody endings. But not before their grudge damn near tore Crystal Lake and Springwood to the ground. Shame, seemed like a nice place except for the nightmare kid killer and mutant camp slasher down the street. So much for property value and Freaksville, huh?

This little princess and the fresh pauper are the only two kids to escape the massacre. You'd think they'd be smart enough to go as far away from here as possible and never look back. I mean, what kind of freaking idiots keep coming back to a cabin in the woods when they know a bunch of possessed horrors are waiting to.... swallow.... their.... souls?

Sigh...... fuck you, dad.

Camp Green/Crystal Lake: 5 Years after Freddy vs Jason

The car's wheels drive through the snow as Laurie glances at her boyfriend, Will, who's driving the vehicle. The silence is so painful, you could scratch nails against a chalk board, and it would probably be soothing compared to this. "Come on, Will. You haven't said two words to me in the last hour." Laurie says to Will with a slightly insecure feeling that something is wrong between them. "You still love me, right?"

This question causes Will to blink at look at her with a crazy look, wondering where the hell that felt warranted. He opens his mouth, but delays his speech for a few seconds, letting out a long sigh. "I'm sorry, of course I love you, Laurie. I just think this is a really bad idea." He assures her, his hands gripping the wheel as if it could fall out any minute, or if a zombie could suddenly hop in front of their vehicle, threatening to crash it. "We survived. Coming back here just feels.... wrong."

The two pass a small store, a gift shop made for Crystal Lake 'tourists' like them. The owner is currently ranting a bunch of guys trying to get rid of spray paint on his sign that was meant to advertise his sale, but just recently got a 6 in replacement of his 0 for his 66.0% off. With a surprisingly perfect illustration of Jason Voorhees's hockey mask as the cherry on top. The man's a legend, people have heard from all the way to Russia. It makes Laurie clench a fist at the sight of teenagers using it for laughs.

"I can't turn my back on this. Something inside me keeps telling me that Jason and Freddy aren't dead." Laurie vents to Will, touching and gripping her heart. She can still remember the sight of Freddy's terrified face before she decapitated him with that machete, yet the more time has passed, the more that memory has gone from certain safety to foggy darkness. "I have to know, Will. I have to make sure they're gone for good."

"You took off Freddy's head, can't get any more dead than that." Will points out, still showing more signs of skepticism. "And Jason? Well, if I know that guy well, then I'm sure he would've came for us earlier if he was still alive. Like when he left his camp to punish that girl who killed his mom."

"Their bodies weren't found. And it's not good enough for me until that happens." Laurie states, looking almost determined to make sure, she looks at Will with an anxious jittering in her teeth. "You know, make sure the villain is dead?"

"Then what happens?" Will questions her, glancing briefly with a raised brow.

"I don't know." Laurie answers honestly, having thought of multiple ideas on what she would do. The eventually enter the actual camp itself, the only buildings they pass are now abandoned, the trees having grown a foot taller, the only difference here is the snow. "This is is.... sure has changed since." She comments anyway, feeling like this is an entirely different place than what she remembers.

"Let's get this over with quickly." Will advises as he finds a random spot to put the car into park. The two then step outside, observing their entire surroundings. "I want to be on the road again before nightfall." He notes, cold mist blowing out of his mouth.

"Hey, relax, okay? I'm not asking that we try and fight them both to the death if they happen to be alive." Laurie remarks, wondering where Will got all of this attitude from all of a sudden. "You know, you don't have to act tough for my sake, it won't work."

"I'm not acting tough." Will tries to deflect at first, to which Laurie's eyes ask him not to treat her like she's an idiot.

"Yes, you are."

Will sighs, walking closer towards her, allowing Laurie to see just how anxious he really is. His body is shaking, and it isn't because of the cold. "Yes, you're right." He admits, rubbing his grace with his winter gloves. "I'm just.... I don't want to believe it. I don't want to find something that tells me that a guy who used to be my best friend died for nothing, it sounds.... it sounds like bullshit to me."

Laurie, now seeing him being honest with her, steps forward and wraps her arms around him in a comforting embrace, appreciating that he's not hiding behind it anymore. "I know you think I'm crazy. But this is something I have to do. Something we have to." She insists to him, clinging onto him tight. "It was our bond that kept us alive throughout it all, and that bond made us even stronger since."

Will wants to protest, but he's at the point where he knows that she won't be convinced of turning back. "All right, let's look around." He sighs, turning around to go check out the house they've parked in front of. The two split up as they go into separate places that the two monsters fought when they confronted each other in crystal lake.

The house struck Will has curious due to how clean the trail is to it compared to all the other ones that required him to lift up his foot to go through the snow. He tries the door, but it's locked, so he simply kicks it open instead. Once he does, he pulls out his flashlight that illuminates the area.

Slowly stepping inside, it's now clear that this building is currently going under some kind of renovation. One thing he notices is that there's snow littering the floor in separate places. However, according to the door he just went through, that should be impossible. He looks up, and sees no holes in the ceiling, meaning that isn't the cause to. So, what is? He brings the flashlight back down and heads further into a hallway.

Nothing inside any of the dark rooms he peeps his head into, no weapons with blood on them, it doesn't look like anything foul's happened here. That is, until a body suddenly drops from the second floor, almost falling on top of him. Will curses as he quickly steps back, looking up from where it came from and then down to see that it's...... wait, is that Linderman? Despite the fact that it's a skeleton now. He's able to recognize those clothes he last wore before he saw him for the last time.

Then he looks up again, which makes him scream.

"SHIT!"

Outside, Laurie was originally planning to head to the burned down cabin where Freddy and Jason had their first round, but stops mid-way when she notices something off about one of the trees she passes. She squints, stepping towards it to see a huge about of bark missing from it. Then she notices something on it and rubs her glove against it. Rubbing her fingers together, she eventually concludes that it's blood, but not just blood, fresh blood that was able to soak into her glove.

Is that..... Jason?

Then she hears the screaming coming from the building Will just entered, causing Laurie to turn around, worriment all over her face. "Will?" She calls out as she jogs towards it, not paying attention to her feet which makes her trip on various rocks under the snow. "Will? Will!" She yells out for him, still rushing towards the front door. That's where she finds a pool of blood under it. "Oh no.... Will!"

She rushes inside, snapping her head around in every direction in hopes that he's just standing around, having re-opened a wound or something. "Will! Where are you?!" She yells before she slips on the blood, still not paying attention to where she's going. Shaking away the minor pain, she gets back on her feet and looks up.

And that's a mannequin hanging from the balcony suddenly falls right next to her. Laurie jumps and steps back, eventually realizing that it's not a mannequin.... it's Will. His stomach has been torn open, showcasing his digestive systems that's dangling out, and the thing that's holding him to the pole of the railing is his own spine along with some muscles, which is the only reason he hasn't fallen yet.

"WIIIILLLLLL!"

No.... no... this can't be. They beat Freddy and Jason. Laurie is unable to help herself from crying, the man who was with her through everything is now dead in front of her.

Then, behind her, the door opens with a loud creek.

Ki-Ki-Ki

Ma-Ma-Ma

She slowly turns around, seeing Jason Voorhees standing there with his machete in his hands. "No..." Laurie whispers, unable to believe it, when it's standing right in front of her very eyes. The monster raises his weapon up into the air.

Ki-Ki-Ki

Ma-Ma-Ma

"NO!" Laurie screams as she quickly jumps out of the way right as Jason brings it down, hitting the floor instead of her. He snaps his head towards her and tries it again, but Laurie ducks down, causing him to implant it into the wall instead of her skull. She runs away as Jason easily pulls it out due to his blunt strength, and quickly side-steps to front door, closing it harshly with a loud slam in front of her. She's not escaping that easily.

That prompts her to book it the opposite direction, looking for a corner to cross. Jason gives pursuit, and while turning the corner as well, pauses when he sees some rebar still left behind by the construction crew, and grabs one of it to throw it towards her like a spear, successfully getting her through the shoulder with a woosh.

Swearing out a rainfall, Laurie pushes through her blood loss and keeps going, her determination to survive out-shining her now bad condition. Jason tilts his head, surprised that she's still going, before keeping the speed-stomping going.

She goes up the staircase that the two bodies originally came from, already having a game plan as to how she's going to defense herself. Right at the last step though, guess what she does? Yes, she trips on it. Blood spilling from her shoulder, she lands right next to the custom-made spine-muscle tendon pole that hoists up her boyfriend's dead body. "Will.... I'm going to kill them, Will." She promises him with a growl, knowing that somehow, she can hear him. "I'm gonna make them both pay!"

She turns herself around her back, seeing Jason march up the steps towards her, a loud thud coming each time he puts his foot down onto the wood. His machete has tasted blood, but it's still craving the scent, and she is more than happy to oblige it, with its host's. "COME ON! YOU BASTARD!" She taunts him as she gets back up to her feet and rushes up a second flight of steps, huffing a little bit in the process.

The blood dripping down, leaving a trail behind, starts to take more of an effect on her by the second, she grips it with a wince, trying to fight through it for her sake alone. "Come on.... come on..." She mutters, trying to find some kind of weapon in the process as she's fleeing. By the time she eventually makes it to the final floor, the attic, she finds a circular saw on the ground. "There!"

She then turns around, seeing Jason going up the last flight of steps so he can finally kill her. Seeing his robotic way of moving, seeing him act like he has a mission to kill her, seeing him seemingly forget her friends she once tried to pull him out of the water in his childhood nightmare, it makes her blood boil, especially when she glances at Will's blood on the killer's machete.

"You know, I actually felt sorry for you." Laurie spits at Jason as his feet finally land on the floor of the attic, slowly turning towards her with murderous intent. "What Freddy did to you, what those sadistic kids and irresponsible camp counselors did to you." She brings up, looking up at him with red eyes as Jason slowly steps towards her, gripping his signature weapon. "But you just keep killing! You don't think for yourself! You just keep taking! Taking! Taking! Taking! WHEN WILL IT BE ENOUGH, JASON?!"

Right as Jason raises the machete, she swiftly whips out the saw and cuts a massive gash into his stomach, causing him to freeze and step back. Laurie takes that as her opportunity to do it again, forcing Jason to turn around, allowing him to cut into his back and exposed spine. She lets out all of her fury with each swing and cut, her thumb pressing harder on the trigger of the saw stronger than ever before. "WHEN WILL IT BE ENOUGH, YOU SON OF A BITCH?!"

Jason takes all of the punishment, trying and failing to counter with machete swings due to how slow he is. Laurie dodges each and every one, slicing into his undead skin every time. He's then eventually standing front of a window, and Laurie jabs the saw into his stomach, sending him flying out the window with a loud shatter at the top, and thud at the bottom. She looks down to see him laying down on the snow, currently knocked out cold, no pun intended.

Obviously, that means he isn't dead though, so Laurie quickly marches down the steps she recently went up from and shoulders past the front door, meeting Jason's body on the ground. She steps over it with a dark expression, having only one thought in her mind, to finish this and kill the freak.

She raises the saw, planning to decapitate him with it since that's the only thing that can work at this point....

Until Jason shoots back up and abruptly drives his fist into her chest. Laurie freezes, her eyes wide, before looking down and eventually realizing what happened. She looks back at Jason, unable to see his eyes, but she can see darkness, and that's a good indicator for her as to what's going to happen next.

He stands up and grabs her head with his other hand, and twists it side-ways, making her cheek kiss her shoulder and her collar bone to stand out like a sore thumb, one push away from coming out of her skin. He then pulls his hand out, as well as her heart, casually crushing it in his palms before dropping it onto the snow like it was a cherry on whipped cream.

Then Jason walks away, grabbing her by the hole in her chest, then pulls Will down and drags him by the head. He takes them with him down the trail, planning to add these two to a personal collection.

In the background, Freddy Kreuger laughs.

.............

The one time I caught him drinking his troubles away in the living room, binge-watching some cringe sitcom, he told me.... "Son, once you've stared down and cheated with the reaper, your life changes. Do it more than once while you watch everyone you know get turned inside out like bloody sock puppets and you start to go down a very dangerous."

"You think, 'why me? Why was I spared and no one else?' Then it hits you. The only reason this can be is because you were 'chosen' to survive. You were chosen to free the rabble from the from the terrors of the monster of the week."

"You were 'chosen' to be the hero and save the day. And with all the face-less schmoes out there counting on you to do what 'chosen ones' do, you start to believe it. Maybe you can do it. 'Why not?' Maybe you are that special one that has the 'please screw up my life with this destiny-has-picked-you-to-be-the-hero gene' and that is just the part of fate's master plan for you. And as my son, I know that you're going to be forced into that situation too, that's why I taught you how to shoot a double-gaged shotgun, that's I taught you how to work a chainsaw, that's why I've told you these things that you just laugh in my face about, even if you try to pretend that you're not. When that happens..... you give me a call, and tell me that I was fucking right, you hear me sport?"

I never believed him.

Guess that was my biggest mistake.

(A/N) Here's the first chapter of what I suspect is going to be a very exciting story, exciting for the horror lovers, that is.

As you can see, Y/N is going to replace Ash as the son because that's what Wattpad authors do, make the reader insert blood related to someone to justify them having the same exact skills as the guy that are totally not a carboard copy of. Nope, their own character.

Jokes aside, I will try and make him a slightly different character, even giving him his own arc based on his blood connection to Ash Williams.

Tell me what you think of this concept, I'm probably already working on the first chapter by the time you're reading this, so any ideas and just thoughts about the fanfic in general will make me a happy writer. Remember, your comments matter.

Plz vote and comment, any counts as feedback, add this to your library to be notified of updated, and I'll see you in the next one!
