all this weight on my shoulders
is really holding me down.

the sun beats down on my back
and the wind pulls at my hair
and the trees obscure my view
and the mountains loom ahead of me
until,
as they all hold me down at once,
i finally crumble and collapse
because i cannot hold this weight anymore.

if only anyone saw or knew,
maybe it could have been avoided;
but they all have their burdens too
and the small moments of our lives are destroyed.

because the pressure is always too much, and the deadlines too soon, to live life comfortably!
