Peter Parker's P.O.V
Peter ate his cupcake. It really didn't taste as bad as it looked. He thought about how Flash had helped him earlier, Peter wanted to help Flash despite everything that happened in the past but he didn't know how to. Peter just hoped that he had made it clear that he was always there.

He was glad his friends hadn't completely freaked out about the whole situation. He didn't think he could cope with it if they had. They were obviously a bit weirded out by it all but Peter appreciated that they tried to act like everything was fine.

Peter felt guilty that he expected so much from his Dad. He hadn't fully factored in how he must be feeling. But he still couldn't help but smile when he thought about when they had officially became father and son.

MJ snapped he fingers in front of his face to get his attention "Peter, Peter, Peter."

"What?" He said falling out of his thoughts.

"Oh so you are alive. Anyway we're going to play Mario Kart to pass the time. You wanna come with?"

"Maybe in a bit I've got to do something in the lab"

Technically, it wasn't a lie Peter did have some lab things to do.

MJ shrugged "Ok, you know where we are."

Peter walked to his lab in a almost dream like state. So much had happened so quickly over the last two days it didn't feel real. Some of it was good and some was bad. He just needed some time alone to process everything and be 100% sure he wasn't dreaming.

Peter's lab was pretty messy, he didn't use it very much but it had never really recovered from the spaghetti war him, Shuri, Ned and Harley had. (Trust me you don't want to know.)

He glanced the room, he caught sight of an old Ironman helmet Dad had given him once and almost burst out laughing at the crazy fact that was:

Tony Stark is his Dad.

Peter sat down at the desk and slid most of the paper onto the floor to make room for his crappy laptop.

He opened up Karen's programing and stared typing in lines of code.

He had been trying to get Karen to become fluent in the language of vine, so far she knew all the words but didn't always know what context to use them in.

Once, Peter wasn't paying attention and swung right into a building Karen then told the wall the correct way to take down Captain America.

After 20 minutes, Karen could quote every meme in existence and Peter felt he had gotten his head around pretty much everything. Kind of.

It always helped him to relax when he was working on a project he enjoyed. Peter never had much time for the stuff he enjoyed.

Peter was putting his stuff away when Flash walked in "Hey, the others told me to come get you, were having a movie night."

"Oh cool, one sec, I was just updating Karen so she can talk in memes"

"Why did you name your AI Karen anyway?"

"Umm, I have a friend named Karen"

"You named her after Karen from SpongeBob didn't you?"

"Yeah. . ."

"So what film should we watch?" MJ asked.

The group was sitting in a pillow fort, each holding a huge bowl of popcorn. 

Shuri took the remote off MJ and put Shrek on.

"Shrek again?" Morgan complained "that's all you ever watch"

"Hey, do not disrespect our lord and saviour Shrek" Flash said whilst trying to unstick popcorn from his hand.

Peter was somewhat surprised that Flash had gotten on so well with his friends but he was glad, it would have been awkward if they Hated each other.

"Well said Eugene" Shuri nodded.

"You said you would call me Eugene, remember when we took those embarrassing photos of Peter for blackmail"

"Wait you did what?!"

"Shut up I can't hear the film"

Peter huffed dramatically and turned to watch the TV.

When the film finished everybody was falling asleep. Someone turned the film off and Peter checked his phone.

"Peter the light, it's killing me." Shuri muttered sleepily.

He turned the brightness down. An article caught his attention, he clicked on it.

"Spider-Man's latest save"

The New York vigilante Spider-man has done it again! He saved a popular, family run ice cream shop, 'a la mode' from a daylight robbery.

Peter skimmed through the rest of the article. It was from two days ago when someone decided to rob a ice cream shop in broad daylight while he was on his way to school.

Spiderman caught the guy responsible, however it made Peter late for his 1st period science lesson.

Peter clicked on the video attached. Someone had filmed the fight on their phone. The quality was bad but Peter see the flashes of red that was his suit. 

Something in the background caught his eye. He zoomed in.

He couldn't see very well but Peter had a pretty good idea what it was.

And he didn't know how to feel about it.
