"WHAT!? hospital!! Image breathing?! Is she gonna live-" I was cut off by my Dad hugging me. He knelt down to my level, considering I'm Short for my age. "I don't know if she'll be OK, but we're gonna get there this, OK?" he asked. "OK" I responded. He whipped tears off my face, "Now we gotta go so hurry to your locker" He smiled. I nodded and ran off, I went back into my ELA classroom to grab my Binder, "were you going?" Damien asked. "To the hospital to visit my Mom" I told him. "Oh, well Text me if she's OK" he said. "I will" I replied and ran outta class. I grabbed the things from my Locker and left.

~Le Time Skip~

My Dad had gone to Moms room and I was in the Waiting room. Years were slowly falling down my face, I looked around the waiting room, my Grandpa came out "She wants to see you" He told me. I followed him to the room. My Mom was lying in the bed with Needles I'm her arms and a Tube up each nostril. I'm used to seeing her without her Hair, she started Chemo there months ago. "Hi... Sweetheart" she said weakly. "H-hi Mom" tears were streaming so naturally it scared me. "Don't cry....i have something for you" She said. She had a Little Box wrapped with a Bow on it. "Can I open it?" I asked. "Of course sweetie" She said weakly. I slowly unwrapped the bow and tore the wrapping paper off. Inside was a Heart Necklace, but there was a little Mix Tape. It said Our Songs, I smiled, but the machines around my mom started beeping rapidly. I grabbed my gifts before my Grandma made me leave the room. "I love you!!!" I yelled waving the room. "Love you too" I could hear her whisper. 'goodbye'
