Olive You [Undertale]
Author Note: Wrote this quite a long while ago. This was actually my first ever Frans oneshot. So, sorry if it sucks.

"Hey, Papyrus? Can I ask you something?" Frisk wondered, as she and her spaghetti loving skeleton friend were eating lunch together that day. They were out at a cafe on the surface. It was only just the two of them though, seeing as for some reason Sans had to go off and mysteriously disappear, which was exactly what Frisk wanted to ask Papyrus about.
"GO RIGHT AHEAD, HUMAN!" Papyrus replied, before shoving a forkful of spaghetti into his mouth. Frisk exhaled and proceeded to ask her question.
"Why does it seem like Sans has been disappearing a lot lately?" She casually wondered. "I mean, lately I hardly ever get to see him. When he does come home, he usually goes to sleep. I know he's lazy but... It's getting a little ridiculous now."
"HM?" Papyrus rose his eyebrows at her, after finally chewing his food. "DOES IT CONCERN YOU THAT MUCH? SANS IS USUALLY LIKE THAT, GOING OFF ON HIS OWN. I'M SURPRISED YOU'VE NEVER NOTICED." Papyrus answered. Frisk shook her head.
"I know... But when we first got together, he seemed... Not clingy but... We were together a lot... And now it's been awhile and he just... He doesn't spend as much time with me anymore. I feel like he's lost interest in me or something." Frisk admitted with an exhale of air. She saw a slightly concerned look on Papyrus' face. "Sorry, I shouldn't be talking to you about this. Sans IS your brother after all... I don't want to offend you."
"NO, IT'S NOT THAT, HUMAN. DON'T WORRY, I WON'T GO TO SANS ABOUT WHAT YOU'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO. BUT STILL, I THINK YOU'RE WRONG. AFTER ALL, I KNOW MY BROTHER BETTER THAN ANYONE. I JUST THINK HE MAYBE WANTS SOME TIME TO HIMSELF. IT'S PROBABLY MOST LIKELY NOT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU. SANS JUST ISN'T USED TO SHARING FEELINGS OR THOUGHTS WITH PEOPLE, AND SINCE HE'S BEEN WITH YOU, HE'S DONE MORE OF THAT. I GUESS HE'S JUST STILL GETTING USED TO IT, BUT SOMETIMES HE NEEDS TO BE BY HIMSELF AS WELL." Papyrus explained. Frisk slowly nodded, showing she understood what he meant.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." She agreed, resting her chin in the open palm of her hand. "Sorry to go on about myself. How are you and Mettaton?" She wondered, eating the last chip in her bowl. Papyrus smiled at her.
"EVERYTHING IS REALLY GOOD, HUMAN. THANKS FOR ASKING! YOU KNOW, WHEN I FIRST MOVED OUT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE REALLY SCARY. BUT IT'S BEEN REALLY NICE. I DO MISS LIVING WITH YOU AND SANS THOUGH, OF COURSE. I'VE MISSED IT EVER SINCE I MOVED OUT A FEW YEARS AGO. BUT I'M SURE YOU TWO ARE DOING OKAY WITHOUT ME, RIGHT?"
"Yeah, I suppose so." Frisk said. "Apart from that whole thing, I guess you could say we're okay."
"WELL, I'M GLAD TO HEAR, FRISK." Papyrus beamed, finishing his food and putting his fork down. "ANYWAY, I THINK I'M GOING TO HEAD TO ALPHYS'. SHE ASKED IF YOU WANTED TO COME AS WELL. METTATON AND CHARA MIGHT BE THERE TOO. AS WELL AS UNDYNE, OBVIOUSLY, CONSIDERING SHE ALSO LIVES THERE..." Papyrus muttered, pointing out that obvious fact. Frisk thought for a moment, and then bobbed her head up and down.
"Sure I guess. It would be nice to hang out with the others... Is Sans going to be there?" She asked, just as they were getting up. Papyrus pulled a face and simply shrugged.
"I DON'T KNOW, FRISK. I DON'T KNOW WHERE HE IS AT THE MOMENT."
"Right..." She sighed. "Go figure..." She muttered under her breath, as they went to leave the cafe.

"F-Frisk! Y-You came!" Alphys exclaimed, obviously excited to see both Papyrus and Frisk standing at her front door. Frisk nodded.
"Yeah, I thought I might as well. It's been a little while since we all hung out in a group, seeing as I've been busy with my role as the ambassador... 2 weeks, right?"
"Y-Yeah, sounds about r-right." Alphys answered, allowing the both of them inside. Frisk was a bit surprised to see that more people were at Alphys' house than Papyrus had originally said. Not only was Mettaton and Chara there, but Flowey, Toriel, Asgore, Muffet and obviously Undyne were there too. But still... No Sans... Where the hell was he?!
"Frisk! It's so lovely to see you!" Toriel said, pulling Frisk into a hug. Frisk smiled.
"Yeah, it's nice to see you too, mum. How have you been?"
"Oh, it's been very nice, my child. Thank you for asking."
"No problem... Though, what IS everyone doing here?" She wondered, looking around the room. "I mean, I know we haven't seen each other in a long time, but I'm surprised that we all had a huge group meet up at someone's house... Well... Apart from one person missing." Frisk scowled, obviously frustrated. Everyone else seemed to share a weird glance, causing a look of confusion to spread across Frisk's face.
"S-Sans said he would be coming... H-He's just going to be later, t-that's all." Alphys explained. A simple "oh" escaped Frisk's lips, as she had nothing else to say on the subject. Before anyone else could say anything, a knock at the door was heard.
"I-I'll get i-it!" Alphys called, quickly going back to the front door. Moments later, she returned with Sans, who smiled a sheepish smile at everyone.
"hey guys. sorry i'm late." He chuckled, giving everyone a friendly wave. Frisk crossed her arms, slightly pouting with annoyance. Sans grinned in her direction, which only irritated her more.
"Where have YOU been?" Frisk demanded, as Sans came closer to her. He scratched the back of his skull, nervously.
"heh, sorry, kiddo. i told alphys i was gonna be a little later. didn't mean to annoy ya." He told her, kissing her on the top of her hair.
"Yeah but... WHY were you late? In fact... Ugh, I might as well talk to you about it because I talked to Papyrus about it earlier today and it's been bugging me like crazy..." Frisk mumbled, earning a small eyebrow raise from Sans. "Sans, are you not interested in me anymore?" She whispered, almost sounding like she was going to tear up and burst into tears. Sans' eyes widened and he shook his head.
"what?! of course i still am, frisk! what makes ya think that?" He frowned, pulling her close, not caring that everyone else in the room was watching them at this point. Frisk bit her bottom lip.
"Because lately for like... Maybe the past month or two... You've felt a little... Off in your own world. Distant. And you don't seem to tell me why. So... I just don't get it." She said sadly. Sans once again, shook his head looking sympathetic.
"i'm sorry, frisk... i didn't mean to make ya feel like that. you should have told me a lot sooner. i wouldn't want you to feel hurt because of me."
"I know... I'm sorry..." Frisk answered.
"but listen, there has been a reason why i've sorta been like that, and it's not like you think it is. i'm not distancing myself from you because i don't care anymore or somethin'. it's actually far from that." He honestly explained. Frisk shrugged.
"Then what is it then? Why have you been doing it?"
"well..." Sans tilted his head to the side a little, before taking a small glance towards the others who were all watching. He looked back towards Frisk and took his arms from around her and put them in his pockets for a moment, giving her a smile. If Frisk knew what was going to happen next, oh boy...
Before Frisk could ask him anything, or even say anything, Sans slowly brought himself down onto one knee, and everyone let out a gigantic gasp. Alphys started utterly squealing, causing Undyne to quickly bring a hand over her mouth to quiet her. Frisk's eyes widened and she brought her hands up to her mouth.
"N-No way... You're kidding, right?" Frisk whispered, surprised. Sans chuckled, taking a small box from one of his jacket pockets and holding it out in front of him.
"frisk... i have a simple question for you... you know, never in my life would i have thought i'd EVER get to this point. i never really thought anyone would actually be there for me like that, and i never really thought i'd ever find someone i'd fall in love with... but then i met you. you've always been there for me, and you've always been there to listen. we've had our problems and our secrets, but we've always managed to sort things out, even when they've seemed hopeless. i definitely know that you mean everything to me and... i want to spend our lives together." He sighed, finally opening the box, revealing a very beautiful ring. "frisk... will you be spine?" He winked, slipping in a pun. Frisk laughed a little, as tears started to dribble down her face.
Everyone stood, anxious, waiting for her answer. But Frisk knew she didn't even have to think about it. She knew Sans was the one person who she wanted to be with. He was everything to her. Meeting him, was one of the best things that had ever happened to her, and if she could spend the rest of her life with him, she would, without a doubt. Nodding, she beamed a huge, teary smile.
"Yes!" Frisk cried, holding her hand out for him to take it. Sans' smile widened, as did everyone else's as he removed the ring from the box and slipped it on her finger. He stood up, so they were now face to face. Pulling her back into his arms, the two of them shared a kiss, earning an "awhhh" for everyone who was present.
It made a lot of sense to her now. Sans must have been spending a lot of time away, trying to plan of how to ask her, and what ring to get her... She shouldn't have been so paranoid and so stupid to think that he didn't care about her anymore, 'cause it was obvious now that that was FAR from it...
Pulling away from the kiss, the two smiled at each other, happy that they had decided to take the very next step within their lives.
"Hey, Sans...?" Frisk whispered. "Olive you." She beamed. Sans chuckled, resting his forehead against hers.
"olive you too, kiddo..."
