FRANKENSTEIN
36 | Hear Me Coming.
"WE look hot." Miranda complimented.
The three of us stood in front of a full-length body mirror in Miranda and Alexander's bedroom. We were all done up and ready to go. I thought we looked good in the store, but now that our hair and makeup was done - we all looked killer. I can honestly say I have never looked better.
Chelsea and Miranda were standing a few inches taller, than I - because of their stiletto's. I was happy with my converse though, as I was correct and they did look great with the outfit. My hair was half up, and curled nicely on the part which was down. Miranda decided on placing her dark hair in a tight bun at the top of her head, while Chelsea flattened her hair.
Unfortunately Afton was away with Santiago on field work, so he couldn't be here to see Chelsea's phenomenal look - which she quite bummed about. Alexander, whom was coming simply resided in the rooms bathroom, getting himself ready.
"Ladies, you look lovely." Speak of the devil.
Alexander swaggered out, arrogantly walking up to Miranda. His eyes scanned her body approvingly, before he placed a kiss on her lips. Miranda rolled her eyes, but kissed back.
Alexander wore some odd Dolce and Gabbana tuxedo. Alike to Miranda's dress not a lot of people could pull off that suit, but Alexander managed to do it. Alexander would also most likely be a head turner for some ladies tonight.
"We need to hurry and get to the garage, we're suppose to be down there already." Chelsea said, walking out of the room.
We followed after her, Miranda and Chelsea's heels clicking as they walked. Miranda and Alexander whispered to each other in excitement, ready for the evening party.
"You two do realize it's not as fun, as Aro make's it sound, right?" Chelsea snickered at the two of them. "The best part of tonight was probably getting all dressed up."
Miranda only laughed, while Alexander smirked at her. "For one, with us there - we'll make it interesting. Two, don't you know where it's being held?" He rose an eyebrow at the two of us.
"No, why should we care. It's the same party either way." Chelsea rested a hand on her hip.
I furrowed my eyebrows at the amused looks the couple gave to each other.
"Chelsea, it's at the Quinn casino and resort." Miranda said in a way that mean't we should know what that means.
"And?" Chelsea and I looked at each other, both confused at why that's important.
"And, it's only one of the best hotels in Rome. The casino is enormous, and it has multiple little clubs scattered around. The party's being held in the grand ballroom, so it's not too far away from the action. It's just a shame we're not staying for a few days, because they're are even more activities to do during the day. So anyway, tonight if you need us - that's where you'll find us." Alexander announced, earning a smile from Miranda.
Chelsea burst into loud laughter, throwing her head back. "You think the masters will actually let you leave to go drink and gamble? Reality check; they will not." Chelsea shook her head as if the idea was preposterous.
"That's why they are not going to find out." Miranda said looking to us. "We'll sneak away about thirty minutes in. I'll need one of you, to text me when we're about to leave so that we can sneak back in." Miranda informed, looking to both Chelsea and I.
Chelsea held her arms up shaking her head. "Hell no. If you don't get caught during the act, then Aro will only read someone's mind later on and find out what the two of you did. I am not about to face the wrath of Caius and Aro combined. Plus, if you want even a chance of getting invited again - I would be on your best behavior."
"Yeah, but you only live once." Alexander said.
"We never die." Chelsea deadpanned.
"Okay, fine. Frankie you do it, Aro won't get mad at you, and if he does - we all know it won't last long." Miranda gave me a pleading look.
"What! I don't want him mad at me." I argued, crossing my arms.
"Just give him a blow job." Alexander shrugged.
"True, men do whatever you want if you offer a blowjob." Chelsea agreed, Miranda nodding.
"A what-job?" I asked, before noticing exactly what Chelsea said. "I thought you were against this?" I looked to Chelsea, baffled.
"I am, I was just saying." She shrugged.
"Wait, you don't know what a blowjob job is, you know the-" Alexander poked his cheek with his tongue, bringing his hand up by his mouth.
I only shook my head confused by his actions.
"You know sucking on his dick?" Chelsea said, me only widening my eyes in response.
"That's sounds like it would hurt him." I said, earning a scoff from Alexander.
"No way, that's like the best gift ever. In fact, Miranda if I win
us some money tonight-" Alexander didn't finish his sentence waggling his eyebrows at Miranda, suggestively.
She laughed, slapping him on his arm playfully. "We'll see. Anyway enough on blowjob's, I'll teach you how to give one later, Frankie. But will you please do us that favor." Miranda ended begging.
"Fine." I gave in.
"Thank you." She hugged me, causing me to laugh.
Within seconds we were entering the garage. Two large SUV's were next to each other. My attention was fixated on Aro who looked intimidatingly handsome. He was wearing a pure black Armani suit, with a bow tie to top it all off. Half of his hair was held out of his face with a clip, allowing the deep black of his eyes to be showcased.
All the vampires were wearing dark contacts, so that their red irises were completely hidden. Caius and Athenodora stood next to him. I thought Dora couldn't get even more beautiful, but I was proven wrong. She was wearing a long emerald green dress which ended just at her feet. Her icy hair was placed in a intricate braided ponytail, something I had never seen her wear before. Everything about her was perfect.
It was obvious Caius thought so as well, as I caught him staring at her none stop. Aro's eyes caught my own, and they began traveling down my body. He smiled approvingly, causing my stomach to tighten in a good way. In an instant he was in front of me showering me in compliments.
"I don't believe I have ever seen something more beautiful." He told me, before he placed a kiss on my lips.
"I don't think anyone could compare to you, Aro." I told him, after he pulled away.
"Okay, Jane, Alec, Miranda, Alexander, Chelsea, you will be driving with me." Demetri said, motioning over to the left SUV.
He was dressed in a nice suit as well, everyone here was dressed elegantly.
"I bet we beat you there, dad." Miranda said, before she entered the car followed by everyone else.
"We are not racing!" Felix hastily, yelled, nervously looking to the masters.
"Why? Scared you'll lose again?" Miranda antagonized from inside the car.
"What does she mean by again, Felix?" Caius turned to the vampire, with a raised brow.
Felix only bowed his head, running off to the drivers seat, leaving the question unanswered. Aro chuckled at Caius's irritated nature pulling me along with him, to the SUV.
~
Miranda wasn't lying when she said this was a grand hotel. It had to be at least twenty-five stories in height. Huge golden pillars lined the entrance, along with unique silver fountains. As soon as we got there, both cars were put to valet parking - much to Felix and Demetri's gratitude. I couldn't help but wonder if they were the only one's who knew how to drive, considering it seemed like no one ever did.
As we walked into the hotel, the first thing that could be seen was the check in desk. Past that was a very large casino - which in my opinion looked very entertaining. Throughout the casino I could just make out little clubs and bars like Miranda was saying. I now understood her want to go there.
The four hour drive to get here, was relatively calm. Luckily, the vampires decided on speaking English, so I was able to understand what it was they were talking about. It was mainly a series of strategies on how to attract powerful vampires to join the coven, and talk of the new 'Hong Kong' coven.
As we walked I could see Alexander and Miranda whispering to each other on what gambling machines they should hit up first, Demetri and Felix were making some sort of bet, Dora and Caius held each others arm - walking in silence, while Chelsea walked behind everyone with the twins. A lot of heads turned in our direction, and praising chatter broke through of our appearances. I ignored it, my mind wandering back to the driving thing.
"Do you know how to drive?" I whispered in Aro's ear, standing on my toes to get to him.
Aro merely chuckled and whispered back, "Yes."
The group of us walked towards the direction of the ball room. I noticed everyone walked in an aristocratic, elegant style. As if trying to mentally tell people that we were important. Once we got to the doors, Aro stepped away from my side and turned to face everyone.
"I want everyone on their best behavior, tonight. Is that clear." Aro's eyes seemed to immediately fall on Alexander and Miranda.
Miranda noticed this as well, and silently huffed, but nodded nonetheless. Aro nodded to himself, before placing an energetic smile on his lips. Caius and Marcus walked up beside him, flanking his sides. He threw the door open, and the three of them walked in as if they owned the place. We all followed behind them, in apparent respect.
The Volturi were magnets it would seem. Many people's attention was diverted to us, some vampires gazed with fear, others with respect, and some in a clueless fashion. The ballroom was huge, faces were everywhere. Not one person was dresses in casual attire. Of course, you were able to tell who was human and who was vampire. People sat at different tables which were scattered around the place.
My attention was quickly taken with the Cullens, who were looking at me as well. Each member was dressed well, looking like supermodels. I noticed they had brought Jacob and Seth along. I was able to tell which tables held a coven. The bigger covens, were the one's whom had to have two tables.
The Cullen's for example were split. Carlisle, Esme, Bella, Edward, and Rose were sat at one table. Jasper, Alice, Renesmee, Jacob, and Seth were sat at the table across from them. I could see Carlisle's table was leaned over talking to who I could only assume to be the Denali's based on their golden eyes. After I had been informed of the existence of vampires, they had also mentioned a majority of covens they knew of.
I could tell based on the number of people we were one of the last arriving. I suspected Aro was going for 'fashionably late'. Whispers broke out with the vampires I identified as the nomads. Why they were whispering, I had no clue. Pretty much every single person in this room could clearly hear them.
'If I were to join a coven, I'd join them. They're practically invincible.'
'I heard they were monsters.'
'They keep order around here, do not mess with them.'
'They are basically royalty.'
These were only some of the whispers that broke. Both Caius and Aro were smirking at the words flying around. A small human woman scampered over, as soon as she stood in front of Aro she looked behind her shoulder.
I followed her gaze only to see another human female wearing a waitress outfit, giving her a thumbs up. She turned back with fearful eyes. "Excuse me sir, but your tables are this way." Is all she managed to get out as she almost ran in the direction of two tables pushed together.
I noticed the tables were right by the Cullens, and smiled at that. Seeing them here made me realize just how much I missed them. Caius scowled at her fearful nature, the entirety of our coven following her.
Once we got there Aro sat at the head, Caius and Marcus taking both side next to him. Dora was able to sit next to Caius, and Felix sat next to Marcus. I decided I wanted a spot closer to the Cullens and sat unfortunately on the opposite side of the tables pushed together. Chelsea sat across from me, the twins taking the seats to the right of her. Miranda came and sat on my right, Alexander going in the seat next to her. All while we were doing this, the human was shaking in her spot.
As soon as we were all settled, she spoke so quietly that no regular ear could pick it up. With their vampire hearing and my advanced we were able to hear her clear as day though.
"I'll be right back with wine." She made no eye contact, before running off frantically.
In an instant I was engulfed in a hug, coming from my back. "Frankie! You have no idea how much we missed you!" Alice's cheery voice said, as she hugged me.
I was able to stand up, and hugged her back tightly. "I missed you guys too." I exclaim.
Once she pulled away Emmett was next. I squealed when his giant form lifted me up in a bear hug. "I missed ya' Frankenstein!" Emmett said, loudly.
He enjoyed using my full name for reasons unknown. I didn't mind, as technically speaking it was my name. But, I didn't like him using it in public - it was embarrassing. The tips of my ears reddened, as I hugged him back.
"Emmett." I complained, earning a loud boisterous laugh from him.
"Get out of the way." Rose pushed her mate aside, before giving me an equally as tight hug. After her was Bella, who awkwardly engulfed me. Though, that was what I loved about Bella - she was so awkward and funny.
Jasper and Edward offered me friendly nods, obviously not wanting to get too close to the rest of the Volturi. Jacob and Seth didn't even bother to get up, but gave me energetic waves. I understood, they probably weren't comfortable being around all these vampires. Renesmee didn't care, she was over here in a flash. Remember when I said she reminded me somewhat of Miranda? Well, now that they're actually in close contact with each other this should be interesting.
"Hello, sunshine!" She yelled, pulling me a tight hug. "I lost my virginity with Jacob, last night in the room. Seth was in there too, but he was asleep so he didn't see luckily." Renesmee was obviously a bit tipsy.
"You did what?" Edward yelled out, Bella looking flabbergasted. "I don't understand, what happened to that innocent little girl?" Edward muttered shaking his head.
"Congratulations." I said, smiling at her brightly.
"That is not something to praise her for at all." Edward said, before dramatically flailing himself in the seat sending dark glares Jacob's way.
"Nice job!" Miranda's voice rang out.
She stood from her seat, walking over to us. She held out her hand to Nessie, who hesitantly shook it. "I'm Miranda."
"Oh, you're one of the hybrids Frankie was telling us Carlisle about." Nessie's mouth formed an 'O' shape.
"Yep, that's me, the other one is my husband. The one who is currently stuffing his face with bread." Miranda said loudly, gaining Alexander's attention.
He froze mid-chew, before waving in a friendly manner at Nessie. She waved back with a smile.
"Cool, I'm Renesmee, but you can call me Nessie." Nessie smiled at her, before she was called back over by Edward.
"Sorry, I need to go. I feel like I'm about to get grounded." Nessie smiled apologetically at us, before she turned and went to Edward.
As soon as she left, Miranda sat back down, and Esme came over and gave me one of her hugs. I always love Esme's hugs, they're so motherly. "I missed you so much, it's not the same without you." Esme pulled away with a smile.
"I missed you all too." I gave her a bright smile.
"Hello, Frankie." I felt a tap on my shoulder.
Turning around my face morphed into that of pure happiness at the sight of Carlisle. I immediately squeezed the man who I considered my father in a tight embrace. He hugged back, in a fatherly sort of manner. I rested my head on his chest feeling at peace.
"You look gorgeous by the way." Carlisle complimented.
"Thank you, you look pretty dashing yourself." I said with a smile, referring to Carlisle's smart looking suit.
"Hello, Carlisle." Aro's smooth voice cut in.
I stepped away from Carlisle, looking to Aro who stared coolly at Carlisle. To my surprise I could actually see jealousy in his gaze. He was jealous of Carlisle. Silly man, he knew I looked at Carlisle as if he were my own father. He has nothing to be jealous about.
I offered Carlisle one last bright smile, before sitting back down in my seat. Aro's eyes flickered to me momentarily, before they slipped back to Carlisle. "How have your past two months been." Aro tightly smiled, asking in a slightly provocative tone. It was as if he were boasting about the fact I was with the Volturi, and not the Cullen's.
"Oh, you know nothing new." Carlisle smiled gently, ignoring Aro's tone.
Before either of them could utter another word, more vampires approached Aro. Each of them were obviously eager to speak with him. Carlisle took this time, to sneak back over to his own table offering me a last smile.
Nobody except for Alexander, Miranda, and I took notice when the waitress arrived back with red wine. Quickly, she placed the glasses down, before leaving. I looked to the glass curiously before taking a small sip. It was surprisingly pleasant, in an odd way.
"Woo, Frankie! Bottoms up!" My attention snapped to Renesmee, who drunkenly lifted her own glass of wine, before taking a large gulp.
I laughed at her as I took a bigger sip of the wine.
"I like her." Miranda's English accent flowed, as she looked to Renesmee.
Her and Alexander clanked their glasses, before taking a large gulp. I looked back to Aro who was animatedly talking with the other vampires. His smile beamed with happiness, and his laugh echoed around. However, he did give off a small vibe of danger. As if, if you crossed him, you wouldn't live to see tomorrow. I couldn't help but wonder how Aro would be drunk. I feel like he'd be all happy, and in tune with everything. I laughed silently to myself at my own thought. What I would give to see Aro drunk.
For the first fifteen minutes, I mostly stayed quiet watching as the leaders and Dora conversed with other vampires. I knew Aro had his eye on Alice, and a vampire by the name of Benjamin - from the Egyptian coven. He wanted both of them to join the Volturi. He knew Alice would never join without a legitimate reason, so he made a plan to solely focused on Benjamin. On top of that the Hong Kong coven had given their greetings.
They were a coven of five, and were animal drinkers alike to the Denali and Cullen. Surprisingly, they were all relatively new vampires, the oldest being changed just ten years ago. All their creators didn't inform them of the laws, and therefore they didn't know they were suppose to inform the Volturi of their formation.
Aro was friendly toward them, allowing them off the hook. I could tell he was actually quite fascinated that such new vampires, had so much self-control. As I really studied everyone, I noticed that it really was only the leaders and Dora talking. Of course, if a vampire came up to a guard member, they would respond - but other than that they were quiet. I felt like it was mostly to seem intimidating though.
After twenty-minutes, I had successfully consumed around three glasses of wine. I had a slight newfound love for alcoholic beverages. Despite me already consuming three glasses, that was nothing compared to Miranda. Miranda already downed five, Alexander was even worse. He somehow managed to sneak seven! I figured being a hybrid gave them more tolerance, but with that many glasses they were tipsy. I could say the same for myself, I was tipsy.
Renesmee, Jacob, and Seth were full on drunk though. You could tell, as I found myself looking over multiple times at them. Miranda and Alexander were practically bouncing in their seats, ready for an opportunity to sneak away.
My attention was then diverted to a female vampire who wore a smirk on red-painted lips. She walked over swaying her hips, stopping just by Aro's side. She placed a hand, on Aro's shoulder effectively gaining his attention - causing him to turn around.
She smiled, flirtatiously at him batting her eyelashes. "I just wanted to give my greetings to all you kings." She said, in a seemingly polite voice - smiling at all three men.
Dora narrowed her eyes to slits, and she gripped Caius's arm possessively - sending a fake smile back her way. The female stranger got the message and backed off Caius, but kept her attention directly on Aro now.
I now understood how Aro felt about Carlisle, except ten times worse. This woman was actually flirting with my mate! She was a vampire, so obviously she was uncannily beautiful - though she was nothing special. Her mouse brown hair was cut short, stopping just at her chin. The dress she wore was long, colored bright yellow. I don't even know how she was walking in those god-awful stilettos.
Jealousy and rage consumed me, and I was glaring at her dangerously. It had been awhile since I felt rage this strong, the last time being when I sent Carlisle flying into the woods. I wouldn't mind sending this girl flying off a cliff.
The worst part about this was she seemed to be around Aro's age, somewhere in the mid-twenties. I was probably a mere child compared to them, being seventeen and all.
"I was wondering if you had any room among your guard, perhaps I could join?" She questioned, eagerly.
Aro shifted uncomfortably, but placed his hand on top of her's, where it rested on his shoulder. I knew it wasn't anything romantic, as he was just collecting her thoughts; however, the woman must've not been aware of this as her eyes lit up in excitement. She obviously thought, he was reacting to her sad attempts to get with him. After a moment his face changed into something between astonishment, disgust, and flattery.
Slowly he pulled his hand away, giving her a mock apologetic smile. "I'm sorry to say we have no more room." He paused. "But, in the future if we have an open space, I will get in contact with you." He added, causing her frown to turn into a smile.
This caused me to silently huff, and cross my arms. Aro's eyes flickered to me, and widened slightly when he took in my extremely jealous state. His eyes racked my body, before a smirk crossed his lips.
"What is your name, nomad?" Aro asked, in an antagonizing tone.
He was trying to antagonize me. He knew I was jealous, and he liked it. I could see it in his gaze, as he looked at her with a smirk. His eyes would look over to me excitedly every few seconds, he wanted me to react. He wanted me jealous. The only thing I wasn't sure about, was why. It was either because of the whole Carlisle thing, or he just enjoyed seeing me jealous for the first time. I had a feeling it was a mix of both.
"Ursula." She purred, my eyes widening comically at the name.
What a horrendous name. I almost laughed at her name on the spot, but I refrained once I realized I couldn't talk. My name was Frankenstein, I was named after a literal monster. Still, it was better than Ursula. I mean did her mother hate her or something.
I wasn't the only who noticed Aro trying to antagonize me. Dora glared at him, with warning eyes - as if mentally telling him nothing good will come of this. Caius was only glaring at 'Ursula', and Marcus only spared Aro a few warning glances. All the guard minus, Miranda, and Alexander remained stone faced. Miranda looked at Aro through narrowed eyes, Alexander only looking back and forth between us wide eyed.
"Frankie, can you accompany me to go speak with Nessie?" Miranda turned to me, raising a brow.
Her question caught the attention of everyone at the table, the table changing to silence. I smiled at her, grateful she was taking me away before I did something in anger - which I would regret later. We stood up, her motioning Alexander to follow.
The three of us swiftly made our way to the Cullen's table, ignoring the piercing looks of our coven. I wouldn't put it past them to not want us fraternizing with animal drinkers. 'Oh well, I'm sure Ursula can keep them company.' My thoughts took a sarcastic turn.
"Hey guys." Nessie smiled, as the three of us pulled up chairs to sit next to them.
I noticed that Nessie, Jake, and Seth were the only one's over here.
"Hey." I smiled. "Where is everyone?" I looked around trying to find them.
"Oh, Carlisle, Esme, my dad, and my mom are over there talking with the Hong Kong coven." Nessie motioned to where the four were laughing with the coven. "And the other's are dancing." Nessie finished said, before finishing off a glass of water.
I could tell the water sobered her up a bit, as she seemed less free with her words.
"So, you are the Volturi's own little hybrids? I should have known they would want one as soon they left." Jacob looked to Miranda and Alexander saying this.
Nessie elbowed him in the gut, giving the two a sorry look.
Surprisingly they both only laughed in response, waving it off. "It's fine, I mean what he said is true. Aro couldn't let you guy's have something he didn't." Miranda said, earning a laugh from all of us.
"I like them." Seth smiled.
It was then I noticed Seth had grown his hair out, since I last saw him. His hair was around Aro's length, stopping just past his shoulders. It wasn't neat like Aro's though, it was messy - styled in a rugged look.
"You changed your hair, I like it." I acknowledged, nodding in Seth's direction.
Seth smiled back, looking to Nessie and Jake. "See, Frankie likes it." He pointed to me.
"Yeah, well she's the only one. Everyone say's he needs to cut it." Renesmee directed the last part toward me.
"Why? You had it longer than this Jacob." Seth sighed, looking to Jake who blushed at that comment.
"Really?" Nessie and I turned to Jake flabbergasted.
"No?" Jake said, but it was obvious he was lying.
"Oh yes he did. He cut it around the time Bella went to Volterra. Hold on, I think I have a picture." Seth muttered, looking through his phone.
"Please don't." Jacob sighed, earning laughs from all around.
I was caught up on the fact that Bella went to the Volturi though. "What about Bella going to the Volturi?" I questioned.
"Yeah, when was this?" Miranda added.
"A really long time ago, I wasn't even around yet. It's actually a really long story." Nessie shrugged.
"Here it is!" Seth held up the phone so we could see it.
"Oh my god! Jacob!" Renesmee fell back in her seat, laughing hard.
I was laughing as well, shaking my head. Miranda and Alexander were dying of laughter.
"Never grow your hair out again." Renesmee laughed, patting Jacob's shoulder.
Our loud laughter caught the attention of a few, causing us to settle down again.
"What time is it, Alexander?" Miranda questioned, looking to her husband.
"Time to go." Alexander whispered, quietly.
Everyone around the table was able to hear it, but the music made it so anyone who wasn't couldn't have heard it. The music that was playing had no words, only the sound of elegant instruments. A few couples were on the large dance floor, taking to dancing, but it was ballroom dancing. In my opinion ballroom dancing looked boring.
"Are you guy's leaving now?" I whispered sad. I was worried once they left, I would march straight over to my mate and start a full blown make out session with him - which would be highly inappropriate. I'd do that right after, I ripped that Ursula's head right off her body. I should have brought my katana.
"Yeah, but you're coming with us. There is no way I'm leaving here." Miranda whispered.
"Where are you guy's heading?" Nessie curiously asked.
"The casino, maybe a few clubs. The real party is out there." Miranda nodded toward the exit door. "You three want to come?"
"Hell yeah." Jacob and Nessie said at the same time.
"Don't you think Edward will be a little mad, once he realizes the only people who can get drunk left?" Seth worriedly asked Jacob, who only waved him off.
"Who cares?" Renesmee whispered, "The only fun thing to do here is drink. I'd rather make some money." Renesmee told him.
"Okay, whatever you say." Seth said, in a unsure tone.
"Oh come on, it'll be fine. What's the worst that can happen?" Jacob asked.
"But who will text when we need to sneak back in?" I asked Miranda.
"Chelsea." Alexander answered for her.
"But Chelsea said, no." I pointed out.
"Once Chelsea realizes you went with us, she'll feel forced to text us. Trust me." Miranda laughed.
"Okay, how are we suppose to sneak out?" I asked them, looking around.
Aro, Caius, and Marcus had actually left their seats and were across the room speaking with a group of nomads. I don't know where Ursula was. The twins, Chelsea, and Dora were still at the table, and Demetri and Felix were no where in sight.
"We sneak out now! Everyone's busy come on!" Miranda motioned for all of us to go.
Quickly, we began speed walking to the door. It was very entertaining considering we all hid behind pillars in order to stay out of sight. I felt bad about ditching Aro like this, but this was my little revenge act.
Once we were out of the room, I let a breath of relief flood past my lips. We made it! I gazed at the huge casino, and the clubs that surrounded them. The casino was by far the busiest, with the clubs only about half way filled.
"What should we do first?" Miranda turned to us excitedly.
"Well, I think in celebration of going behind both our coven's backs and getting away with it - we should have a dance off." Renesmee suggested, with a smirk.
"Why are you still on this? Face it, I am a better dancer than you two. Just take the L and move on." Seth arrogantly said.
"That sounded like a challenge, did you guy's hear a challenge in his voice?" Nessie asked earning a nod from us.
"Okay Seth, you're on." Miranda said in a challenging tone.
"Alexander and I, Renesmee and Jacob, you and Frankie. Let's see who will win." Alexander announced.
We all cheered, me interested in how this was about to turn out. Let's see, what do you get when you put together three hybrids, two shape-shifters, and one dead person.
~
I'll tell you what you get, chaos. All six of us were wasted, yet we still persisted on doing the dance battle. So here I was standing next to Seth, watching as Alexander and Miranda began dancing with each other.
I wasn't sure how to describe it. If I were to use one word it'd be, sexual. And don't get me wrong, I'm sure if they were sober - it'd look a lot different. It only lasted about thirty seconds, but they're ending was Miranda jumping in Alexander's arms, and Alexander falling to the ground.
We had gained a majority of the club's attention, as most people we very entertained at the fact - we were actually having a dance off. "You guy's are going down!" Renesmee screamed, as her and Jacob walked on the floor.
I took a sip of the colorful Martini in my hands nearly spitting out, when Jacob began twerking on Renesmee. Nessie lifted her right leg off the ground, smacking Jacob's ass in the process. Her short dress came up so high, that her underwear was almost showing.
"Get it Nessie!" I cheered her on laughing.
Miranda threw her head back laughing, Alexander clapping his hands at the sight, and Seth - well Seth looked scarred for life. Though even through being scarred, he couldn't help but laugh. People began forming a circle around them, taking pictures. Seth was one of the people taking pictures.
"I'm never gonna let him live this down." Seth laughed, taking a video.
"You should show that to Edward once we get back." I drunkenly suggested, forgetting that the other's weren't suppose to know.
"I will!" Seth laughed, putting his phone away.
Once their song ended, Renesmee walked up to Seth, Jacob following. "Beat that." She said.
"Gladly."
Seth grabbed my hand and began pulling to the center of the circle. On my there, I handed Miranda the Martini. She sipped some of it, once it was in her grasp. Immediately Seth spun me wildly, my body somehow knowing the moves. It was like dancing was second nature or something strange like that.
'All the hoes lose their mind when they see me stunting, dope boys lose their minds when they hear me coming, all the haters get to running when they hear that chopper drumming.'
A rap song began. I didn't know how to explain it, but it was like when I sang. I just knew how to do it. I was expecting to come out here, and fall on my face not begin dancing like some pro. Not only that, but I enjoyed it. I enjoyed dancing a lot.
"Go Frankie, go Frankie!" I could hear the rest of our group cheer, and people in the crowd going wild.
Seth held a look of surprise, but he quickly smirked. My Converse luckily made it easy, so I wasn't stumbling all over myself. "Nice moves!" He yelled over the music, just standing there.
"Hey, you're suppose to be lead here, start dancing!" I yelled back.
I caught him off guard when I spun toward him, grabbing his neck I dropped to the splits - causing him to lean his upper body down. Who knew I was this flexible?
'O's' were heard all around as I dropped. Seth quickly snapped out of the shock, and brought his hand on my back leaning back into a standing position so I came with him. My legs slid back together, once I was - and I looked to Seth expectantly.
Athenodora was right, I should get drunk more often.
I grabbed him by the shoulder and pushed him down so he was on his knee. He got my sign and grabbed my waist, I swiveled my upper body in an arch motion - appreciating the cheers I heard. Seth and me were now full on crawling on the ground - in dancy motions. Despite what it may look like, it was not sexual. Seth and I felt nothing like that for each other, it was simply for the feeling of victory we'd have once we won.
'I get ya' back around three, we can do it one mo' gen, message to the hater, middle finger to the wind. Let my chain swang with a limp in my walk, baby hush your mouth respect a pimp when he talk.'
The song began coming to a close. For an ending Seth and I stood up, and he twirled me - bringing me back in so that we ended my back arched down. As we pulled apart, we high-five turning to everyone.
"Okay, fine you win." Nessie admitted, before her eyes sparkled. "Who wants to have a shot contest!"
"Me!" Miranda and I screamed in unison.
Let me just say that a lot of pictures with shots are now on Seth's phone. There was also a picture of Renesmee winning, because she somehow manged to take five shots in five seconds. Miranda came in second place, beating me by literally one second. The guy's were next. Jacob won downing six shots, in six seconds. Jacob and Renesmee amaze me sometimes.
