ELEVEN
Thalia
The door to the boiler room hadn't opened once since I had been tossed into the room, which felt like years ago.
That's why it came as a surprise to all of us when the door was opened and a brunette girl (who was kicking and screaming lots) was thrust into the room. The door was quickly shut behind her, but she ran straight back towards it and started pounding on the hard metal with her fists, yelling and screaming.
It wasn't until then that I realised the girl was Annabeth.
"Annabeth?" I pulled her away from the door and hugged her tightly. She in my embrace she immediately broke into tears.
"It's okay Annabeth," I rubbed her back, "it's going to be okay."
I felt her shake her head, her face still buried in my shoulder.
"What's the matter?" I asked her, still hugging her.
She pulled away from the hug and wrapped her arms around herself, sinking down to the floor. The other three were also on their feet, watching Annabeth in a mix of shock and confusion.
"Annabeth what happened?" I sunk to the floor next to her.
"Luke, he-he killed," she chocked out in-between sobs. Then it hit me. Luke had killed Percy. Luke Castellan and Killed Percy Jackson, and here sat Annabeth Jackson infront of me in tears because a person she thought was her friend had killed the love of her life.
It took Annabeth a long time to be able to talk, I sat with my arms around her, telling her it would be okay, when I knew full well it wouldn't.
Annabeth cried herself to sleep and then slept soundly with her head on my shoulder. When she woke up again she seemed like she was ready go talk.
"Before we got caught I got a message to Piper," she told us, still sniffing a bit, "I managed to get her our coordinates, but that was hours ago and we've been moving since." Annabeth's eyes widened as she seemed to realise she still had a duffle bag strung across her back. She pulled out a laptop.
"Why didn't they take that from you?" Leo asked as he grabbed it and started tinkering.
"I guess I was struggling too much..." Annabeth trailed off.
"I can rewire this to create a beacon and then get all of the information send directly to Piper," Leo spoke as he worked not taking his eyes off of what was once a laptop.
"Good idea," I nodded, attempting to understand what Leo was saying.
"I can make it send updated information every few hours, because we're still going to be moving, that way she'll know where we are all of the time." Leo rambled.
"Okay how long will that take you?" Frank asked.
"Not long," Leo grinned at Frank, "I'm almost done, just give me a few more- there we go!"
"Seriously that's done?"I raised an eyebrow, the laptop was mostly disassembled, but the monitor remained intact reading some coordinates and an email address.
"Yes that's done." Leo grinned, "now let's wait for McLean to find us."
A double update as an apology for not updating! This is the last chapter in Part 2, stay tuned for part 3! I've also decided that there will be a third book in this series because the ending of this book is very much not final.
