Since 1998

We are a generation
full of hope and recognition.
We strive for success
with nothing but dedication.

Nothing can stand in our way,
but ourselves, and you'll see one day.
We'll show the whole wide world
what exactly we came here to say.

We have our opinions,
reasons behind our thinkings.
Don't bother changing our minds,
we've already made our decisions.

We might seem a bit young,
but there's more to that, son.
We've got class and respect,
something you've never sung.

We'vegot style but we've got smarts,
no reason to come crushing our hearts.
We're exactly like you,
except we've been here from the start.

This poem wouldn't make much sense to people born before 1998. This poem, however, is literally a jumble of worlds I put together. It's purpose is most definitely not to offend people born before or after 1998. I literally just came up with this to satisfy my boredom. Thank you for understanding:)
