I Cannot

I cannot speak today.

My bones are numb
And I can talk to none.

I cannot breathe today.

My lungs are boiling hot,
The air that's left has rot.

I cannot live today.

My life has torn apart,
And at this I must depart.

I cannot believe today.

Humanity has let us down,
There's little respect in our town.

I cannot do anything today.

The darkness is here to stay,
And before sunrise my soul will set sail.

You cannot do anything tomorrow.

For my death with be of pain and sorrow,
You'll look for my soul in the sea of the dead.

You cannot find me.
