All the Time

I admire you all the time,
when you lay down on the rug in your room,
closing your eyes to listen to our new jam.
Your black eyelashes are gloriously radiant;
your black hair silkier than ever— God damn.

I admire you all the time,
when you're having a good time with friends,
laughing out loud and taking sick pictures.
Your smile is so genuine that you don't stress where to place your arms because you have them around your sisters.

I admire you all the time,
when we take your parents' car for a ride,
singing our hearts out to our favorite songs.
You would be sitting shotgun as per usual,
Your arm out the window feeling the air all day long.

I admire you all the time,
when you are true to yourself,
genuinely smiling and having a good time.
You would know that you deserve to be happy,
breathing every breath with confident rhyme.

I admire you all the time,
at sunrise, sunset, and the hours in between,
wishing you happiness and success for eternity.
I admire you all the time,
especially when your smile moves miles because of me.
