The smell of gingerbread and frosting filled the air. The warm fire glowed brightly, lighting up the dark and cold guild. Screams filled the air on top of that, as well as someone slamming the table.

"Back off flame brian!"

"You back off!"

Akira, Lucy and Wendy sweatdropped at their actions. The guild was in the middle of a gingerbread house building contest. And Natsu grabbed one of Gray's gumdrops.

"What a bunch of fools." Carla stated.

"You can say that again." Miko agreed.

Erza smiled happily as she built her house.

"She's way too into this." Cana muttered while sipping her beer.

"Of course! Whenever I hear the word competition, I get all worked up!" Erza smiled as she continued to build.

"Right." Lucy dragged as she built her's.

Juvia glared at Lucy, "Love rival! I won't let you win my beloved's heart before I do!" Juvia claimed, building her house faster.

"I told you! I don't like him, he's all yours!"

"Come on Lu, get building. I'd hate to see the losers punishment this time." Levy shuddered.

"Punishment!" Lucy exclaimed, building faster then before.

"How about we work together, Wendy?" Akira asked.

"That's a great idea!" Wendy said, the two girls then started to build together.

"10 more minutes brats!" Master exclaimed.

"Man, I can't wait to see who'll lose this time." Macao smiled.

"Yeah, they'll be screwed." Wakaba laughed.

The ones building, being, Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy, Levy, Juvia, Gajeel, Akira and Wendy.

"This is pointless." Gajeel muttered as he added a gumdrop.

"Complaining won't get you anywhere." Lily stated while Gajeel continued to mutter.

Akira stuck her tounge out as she used her magic, causing little vines to appear on their house.

"It looks great, Kira!" Wendy stated.

"Thanks Wendy!"

"3 more minutes."

"Done." Erza clamied. All of them looked over at her poorly built house. Erza smiled proudly.

"It's worse then her drawings." Miko stated.

"Aye sir."

"I'm sure to win."

'She calls that winning material?!' Everyone thought.

"Natsu! Move you idiot!" Gray yelled.

"You move perverted ice popsicle!"

The two began to fight.

"1 more minute!"

"I've had it with you!"

"Oh, yeah? Well I've had it with you!"

"You better just back off!"

"In your dreams, fire dragon..."

"Ice make..."

"Roar!"

"Hammer!"

The others covered their houses from the blow.

"30 seconds!"

"You destroyed my house!" Both exclaimed as they growled.

A high pitch scream ran through the air, they turned to see Erza's poorly built house destroyed.

"Natsu...Gray..." She drawled out.

"Uh oh." The two said.

Erza then attacked them, destroying Levy and Lucy's houses, causing the two to scream.

"Watch it!" Gajeel yelled. But it was too late as Natsu landed on his house.

"Iron dragon iron fist!" Gajeel yelled the attack as Natsu flew over and destroyed Juvia's house.

"10 seconds."

"Our houses are destroyed!" They all exclaimed.

"Times up!"

"Oh no." Levy muttered.

"I don't want to know what that means." Lucy shuddered.

"The winners are Wendy and Akira!"

"Huh?!"

They all turned to see the girls house perfectly stable.

"But how?" Juvia asked.

"While you guys were fighting, Kira formed a dome around us."

"Earth dragon rock dome!"

"Oh."

"Time for your punishment." Master snickered as the others sulked.

"This'll be good." Happy said.

"Damn right it will be." Miko exclaimed.

Later

The losers of the competition stood on the stage, dressed in Santa outfits, except for Gajeel and Natsu. Who were in reindeer outfits. The other guild mates laughed.

"This is so embarrassing." Lucy muttered as Juvia and Levy rubbed her back.

"I find this outfit quite cute." Erza claimed.

"The chick is nuts." Gajeel muttered.

"You can say that again." Gray agreed.

They then began their performance of Santa Claus Is Coming to Town. The whole guild bursted into laughter as the performance ended.

"Happy, you got that on the lacrima right?" Miko asked.

"Aye sir."

The two exceeds snickered.

"You stupid cats!" Lucy yelled as the guild laughed. Yep, your every day Christmas at Fairy Tail.
