I am on my way home to pick up Fiftie and change into something darker. Mj is tracking Kira's phone so we can pick her up and deal with this once and for all.

Lately I've been so weak and I know she's the cause of it. I try not to show my dominant side, she's a broken woman and right now soft life is what she should be experiencing not all this drama.

I pull up at my gate and it opens immediately, the guard greets me and I park the range then jump out. For something like this I rather take my black BMW Car that's heavily tinted.

"Bro you a fuck up things with me and Aaliyah enuh, she feel I should of been protecting her sister and nephew." I stop and turn to Fiftie.

Why is Aaliyah assuming Fiftie should be her sister's bodyguard. "She know what kind of work you do?".

He looks at me strange but I'm the one that should be looking at him suspiciously. "No bro we never had that discussion" I chuckle humorously. "Bullshit she knows something so if no you then a who?" I jeer and it hit me.

"A Briana enuh, Fuck!" I exclaim.

"Can't be Briana she knows better than to betray us like that. It's a family secret" Fiftie says but it's just not adding up, the way she phased that sentence it's clear she knows what he does.

"Cool me soon forward" I tell him and jog up the stairs.

I walk into my closet and remove my work clothes. I take out a black sweatpants from my bottom draw and a black long sleeve sweatshirt from my second draw then quickly got dressed.

I hear the sound of my phone ringing inside the bedroom and I walk towards the bed and stretch for it.

Phone Call

MJ: I have her location boss, she is 1 mile away from her father warehouse.

Me: Okay we're going there now, make sure to monitor the cameras in the surrounding for anything suspicious.

MJ: Got it boss.

I hang up the phone and pull on my black ankle socks then slip my feet into the black Air Force 1s and turn to pick up my mask before going downstairs.

"You got the guns?" I ask Fiftie and he nods. "They're in the car" he says getting up to leave and I follow behind him.

I jump in the passenger seat and let Fiftie drive us to the location MJ sent to the GPS. "I still can't believe Kira would do something that stupid" I say in disbelief.

"Best believe it, kenrick told me he warned you plenty times but you let your dick controlled you. If anéyah leaves that's on you" Fiftie says and he's right. I should of put an end to the fling I had with Kira a longtime ago now look at the position I'm in.

I don't think guns would be necessary when obtaining Kira, she might of shot at Anéyah but hell would freeze over before she can dare pull that trigger at me.

We parked a few blocks away from her house then pulled our balaclava over our face and walked the rest to avoid any neighbors seeing my vehicle number. "I'm going to enter from behind, you can go through the front" he says and take off into the dark.

I knock twice on the door and wait for Kira to open. "Who is it" she calls out from behind the closed door. I waited patiently for another five seconds then knock again. "I asked who is it" she opens the door slightly and I push my way inside.

"What are you doing here" she says in a shaky tone.

"You know why I'm here Kira, let's go" I tell her but she hesitates. "Move before I put a bullet in your head" she jumps at the stern tone of Fiftie's voice approaching her from behind.

"I didn't mean to do it, please don't hurt me and our baby Dionnis" Kira begs and fiftie gives a throaty laugh. "Shut up and walk" he takes the gun and nudge her through the door with it pressing forcefully against her back. Kira starts to sob and comply to our demands.

We drove back to my house in silence. I have her in the underground room in my back yard. I built it in case of emergencies, even though this is not what it's built for she would have to stay there until we can figure out a way to get rid of her without the authorities looking my way as a suspect.

"Is she dead?" Kira raise her head and asks. "No but her son" I exhale loudly.

"Oh god I didn't see him in there, I didn't mean for this to happen I was so blinded by rage I didn't think I just shoot" she weeps.

"Please don't kill me Dionnis please" she pleads but at this point I don't care what happens to her anymore, she was given countless chances to stay away until the baby comes but as usual she has to take things into her own hands.

"I don't have anymore remorse or patience for you Kira. I know this child isn't mine but the innocent baby doesn't deserve to die but you, you deserve to perish off the face of earth for what you did" I jeer at her and she cries out loud like I'm killing her and I haven't started yet.

I lay on the bed beside him stroking his hair. I'm glad the surgery was successful, I had to give him some of my blood which is the least I can do, considering I would do anything for my son.

"Mommy?" His weak voice calls my name. "Hi baby, I'm right here go get some rest" I urge him and he does what I say.

Aaliyah wanted to stay but I told her it wasn't right for her to sleep outside in the hospital waiting room chairs it's not sanitary. Fiftie came and took her home, I could see there was tension between them but I'm not in any position to play love counselor they will work it out on their own eventually.

I make a note to call Leshawn in the morning and explain everything to him without the me knowing her part. I close my eyes and say a silent prayer for my baby and everyone else in my life before I drift off into a peaceful sleep.

5:56am|

Jennifer brought some clothes for me and Lemar to freshen up and change into before heading off to work. I notified my boss about the incident and he gave me a whole week of leave of absence.

Since Lemar will be up soon I might as well take a shower before he does so I can give him my undivided attention without having to leave his bedside.

He was moved to a private room and nobody can tell me this wasn't Dionnis doing, sometimes I swear he acts as if Lemar is his child. Everything I ever wanted in a man I'm seeing in him and it scares me.

I let the cold water run over me while my mind wonders back to the shooting. Dionnis and I haven't had the chance to have sex like regular people in love but when we do the experience is to die for, no wonder Kira is carrying on like a mad woman about him his dick is amazing.

I quickly wash my skin and step out of the shower taking my dear time drying my skin off properly. "Mommy" I hear Lemar calls for me.

"I'm right here baby I'm coming" I tell him and get dressed. As much as I want to leave Dionnis because of this situation I think I'm falling in love with him.

I open the door to see Lemar trying to sit up. "Wait, let me help you" I usher over to him and lift his body into a sitting position.

"How do you feel? I already notified the school, if you want you can do the rest exams online or wait until you're fully healed which might take up to a month and it will delay your traveling time.

Think about it and let me know what you decide" I say and he nods. He has a grazed wound luckily the bullet missed his brachial artery which would of cause life threatening complications.

Last time I spoke to Dionnis he said he was going to take care of kira because of the incident but he didn't mentioned what he was going to do with her, not that I care but my concern is for the unborn child that might be his.

He thinks I'm pregnant but it was my anxiety and the thought of seeing Michael again that made me sick.

I never brought him up, he comes with a lot of painful memories one that includes me losing my baby girl while 9 months pregnant. I never forgave Michael, my worthless child father or myself for what happened, she was innocent in all of this and she paid with her life for my mistakes. The thoughts of her brings tears to my eyes and I blink them away expeditiously.

I hear a knock sounding on the door and tell the person to enter. The door opens and Lya stands in the entrance holding her chest. "Don't you ev-ver frighten aunty like that again" she emphasizes on the ever while approaching Lemar and he gives her a smile as she hugs him gently avoiding his wound.

"I was worried sick about you two, I couldn't wait to leave work. I only stick it out until my shift was over because you told me he's in a stable condition and now resting otherwise I would of been here since last night" Lya states and I smile, she's the best friend I could ever wish for she would move heaven and earth for me and Lemar.

"Dionnis came by?" She asks and I nod.

"He did but he said he had something to go take care of" I say which brings me back to why he hasn't called me as yet.

"That's probably where Diondré is as well, he told me his brother needed him for something but he sends his well wishes to you and my nephew". Lya says.

"Okay, Lemar it's time to freshen up before the doctor comes to take a look at your wound and they bring your breakfast" I tell him as I help him up from the bed and to the bathroom. Lya joins us and gives me a hand with him in the shower then I brush his teeth after.

"Will I have this bandage on my arm on Saturday?" He questions and I know why.

"You will but you can wear a shirt that will cover it so you won't feel uncomfortable with her seeing it" I tell him as I dry his skin and he smiles.

"I have to tell your father about what happened yesterday so we're both in the same page" I sigh and Lemar rubs my back with his right hand, "it's not your fault mom, we cannot control other people's actions only ours" he says and I look up at him like he's some kind of stranger.

Since when is my 8 years old son this wise as if he's been here on earth before me.

"I love you, you know that?" I say and he gives me a smile. "I know mommy and I love you even more".

"Come buddy you both are too adorable it's sickening" Lya saying carrying feelings and reaching out for Lemar.

Someone knocks on the door and we all avert our eyes to it. "You may enter" I say. The doctor and a nurse walks inside and greets us.

"Good morning Lemar, good to see you up and smiling" Doctor Taylor says to him. Lya finish getting Lemar dressed and help him into the bed.

"You're a very lucky boy you know that Lemar" the doctor says and Lemar nods his head. "My mommy prays over me regularly so yes I am protected" he says with surety in his voice.

"Fantastic job mommy" he winks and begins to check Lemar's wound while the nurse monitors his vital signs.

"We will keep you for today just for observation then you're free to leave tomorrow, sounds good?" Dr Taylor says to Lemar and grins cheekily. "Yes sounds good" he responds.

"Good, I will be back later to check on you" he says leaving the room. "Breakfast will be here shortly" the nurse says before walking out behind of the doctor.

"I miss you being home" I say to Lemar and he laughs. "You just want a movie buddy" he says looking back to the television.

The door knocks then opens and mommy steps inside. "Good evening everyone and how is my favorite grandchild doing" she says and we laugh. "He is your only grandchild mommy" Anéyah states.

"Yes that's why he is my favorite" she says making her way over to Lemar and I shake my head, thank god she has a good sense of humor.

The door knocks again and we all look towards it. "You may enter" Anéyah says and when I see Fiftie steps through it my heart almost give out, followed by Dionnis, Antwaun, Diondré and kenrick.

Cho bloodclarrt they couldn't of come at a wrong time when Ms Jennifer is here.

"Good evening" they all say and I can feel my palms getting sweaty.

"Dionnis!" Lemar shouts with excitement and Dionnis smiles and walks over to him.

"Wow I'm hurt" Antwaun says grabbing his chest and walks over to Lemar. I can feel Devonte's eyes boring holes through me and I fight the urge follow his gaze.

He starts walking over to me in the corner of the room and my body falls weak as he touches my face, my body betrays me once he's near. "What are you doing" I say barely audible and he furrow his eyebrows at me. "I can't touch my girlfriend now?" He says in a sarcastic tone and I advert my eyes to my mother who's looking directly at us but says nothing.

Anéyah gives my signs with her fingers, saying I should tell mom about Devonté but for some reason I'm nervous when I shouldn't be, I'm to age now.

"Aum, mommy this is my boyfriend Devonté and Devonté this is my mother Jennifer Marshall" I start off by saying. She walks over to us and shakes his hand "nice to finally meet you, she was afraid to tell me about you but I already knew she had a boyfriend because of how shy she became around us, that's not like Aaliyah she is more open and goofy" she says and I groan.

"Mom!" I whine and she chuckles.

"Does this Devonté has a last name?" She asks him and everyone suddenly turn their eyes in our direction.

It just hit me that Fiftie never mentioned his last name only his middle name, now it makes me wonder what is he hiding from me.

I wait in anticipation for his answer as they all look at us, "it's Millar ma'am" he says looking at Dionnis as if he was getting his permission to answer and we all gasp, well only Anéyah, Lya and me I figured the boys already knew that because this isn't news to them.

"You're related to Dionnis?" She asks and he nods "yes I am his big cousin". I get an instant headache, how didn't I suspect this but most importantly how néyah didn't know about it.
