I woke up and did my morning routine before taking a shower.

I take out a black biker boy tights and a blue camisole shirt from my Chester draw and put them on then I push my feet into my blue crocs that has soft fur sole.

I make my way down the stairs to find my mother in the kitchen cooking. It's about 9:26am and she will not finish cooking until around 1:00pm, I don't know why she do cook so much sides and relish when it's just four of us live here and sometimes my uncle comes over.

"Good morning mommy" I greet and take a sit on the tool around the bar table in the kitchen.

"Good morning, I didn't expect you to be home this early" she says to me, not looking up from making the sauce to engage in eye contact.

"I came home since yesterday" I respond and reach for the carrots , the cutter and a bowl.

"Yeah I know I saw your car in the driveway last night" she tells me and bring the cabbage and cucumbers for my to cut and mince.

"I missed Lemar so I came home" I lie in hopes that she would change the topic.

"Mhmm but yet you were in bed the whole time while Lemar was at the clinic" she reprimand and I shake my head. I could never hide anything from this woman especially now that we live together again.

"It's nothing" I say to her and she smiles.

"If you say so" she says before opening the oven and checking on the spear ribs.

I finish what I was doing and move to make breakfast for all of us.

I make omelets with bacon, ham,cheese and onions . I toast a few bagals and make pumpkin fritters.

My sister and Lemar comes downstairs and sit around the bar table and eat their breakfast before retreating to the living room sofa to watch tv.

I couldn't sleep last night knowing  Anéyah say we leff. The one woman I fell truly in love with and I messed it up.

I'm in the gym lifting weights to stop my mind from wandering off on her but it's not working. Diondré is on his way here, he body builds on his own time and he's a good gym trainer.

I got an alert to indicate Dre has arrived and I continue lifting until he reaches the gym which he can access without going through the house.

The side door to the big botanical garden opens and Dre walks inside of the gym and greet me.

"Wah gwaan bro" he says and daps my hand after I put the weights down.

"I'm here, just trying to ease my mind" I tell him and he laughs.

" No doubt, you're lifting as if yuh a run competition wid somebody" he jokes and I sigh sitting on the bench.

"Come let's go" Dre calls me towards the punching bags.

I put my gloves on and get ready to fire heavy punches to the bag. Dre holds the bag firmly in place and tells me to blow out some steam and I waste no time delivering strikes to the bag countless amount of times.

"Clear your head you're hitting sloppy, you're boxing all over the place" he tells me but she's all I can think of for hours, it's torturing.

"Stop, stop let's talk" Dre says and I stop punching and sit on the gym bench.

"Wah happen between yuh and Anéyah, I just know it's her, no other woman has ever came close to stealing my heart and anéyah does it effortlessly" he tells me and I sigh slouching over and putting my head between my hands.

Wah dis me got yah now jah, stress?

"Kira showed up at my house and Anéyah was the one that answered the door" I state and Dre starts chuckling.

"Aye yuh salt yuh fuck, out a all of daddy pickney dem a yuh no got much luck star" Dre tells me and I kiss my teeth and playfully push him.

"Boyyy it cut mi up to see me hurt har dem kinda way dey" I admit and Dre looks at me.

"Yuh really fall deep for this girl bro, mi never see  you like this not even when a situation has gotten out of hand" he tells me.

"Yes I think I love her" I confess and stand up to get ready for the business proposal meeting I have since Dre is still on vacation leave until tomorrow.

"Explain everything to her, I'm sure it will all work out" Dre instructs and I agree.

"Im going to go get ready for the meeting" I tell him.  "Aite bro I'll be here lifting weights until you're ready" Dre tells me and I proceed to upstairs.

I step inside of the bath and let the cold water run over my head as I stand and think of Anéyah. I'm wondering what she's doing right now and if she feels better from the asthma attack she suffered yesterday. I want to call her but I have a feeling she won't answer.

I manage to push the thoughts of her aside for now so I can start getting ready to leave. I reach for my washcloth and promptly wash my skin.

After showering I enter my bedroom and open the door to my walk in closet to find something decent to wear, I don't feel like wearing a suit unless it's to my corporate office.

I take out a black pair of jeans, my blue polo shirt and my blue wallabees. It's Sunday I think casual would be more subtle. I walk over to the mirror and brush my hair so that my waves can look more defined.

I walk out of my closet and turn closing the door behind me. I stretch for my phone on the bed to call Dre and let him know I'm ready so he can meet me out front.

I grab the range key from the rack and head downstairs.

12:45pm|

"What do you think of their business proposal so far, I love how authentic and innovative their ideas are" my assistant says to me.

I'm currently looking for a contractor with their own workmen to build a hotel for me back home in Jamaica. The architecture of my hotel plan is a bit more complex, I need it to be an attention grabber as well as cost efficient to locals and tourists.

"It's good and their money management skill is a plus so I will consider hiring them for the first initial phase if they prove to be worthy then they can stay for the second phase, I can't afford any fuck ups right now, it will cost me time and money. Do you know what I hate wasting the most?" I ask her and she looks at me puzzled.

"No what?" She responds and I smile.

"My time" I say firmly and stand to my feet.

"Thank you for coming, your presentation displayed most of the characteristics I have been searching for so hear what I'll do, I will hire your company on a trial run, you and your men would be handling the first building phase of my hotel. Make sure you and everyone else has a passport, you leave in 3 weeks.

Food, accommodations and transportation will be provided, off days are on the weekend and holidays celebrated within Jamaica, also you would be paid every other week. I will discuss payments with you at our next meeting" I explain to him and he nods.

"Thank you Sir for giving us a chance, we won't let you down" he says and I stretch my hand out to shake his and leave him with my assistant to sign the employment documents.

I need to see Anéyah I can't go another night without sleep. I hop in my Range Rover and drive to her house.

I arrive at her place in less than an hour and take a deep breath before exiting my jeep. I walk up to the door and ring the door bell and wait for someone to open.

Their front door is made of mahogany wood with glass in the center but I'm unable to see inside from here.

The door opens and Lemar stands in the door way and smile as he sees me.

"Hi Dionnis" Lemar says and I respond greeting him the same. I think Lemar likes me which would be a bonus, I would need all the help I can get when it comes to winning over his mother.

"Is your mother home?" I ask and he stretch out his hand for me to grab it. He leads me inside while calling his mother.

"Yes Lemar I'm coming, who's it" I hear her say, she sounds close by like its coming from the kitchen.

She walks towards us and stop when she sees me. "What are you doing here?" She asks and I shrug my shoulders.

"I can't come see my woman?" I ask in return and she roll her eyes.

"Yain got no woman here, better yuh go back way yuh just a come from" she says looking me up and down with displeasure.

Lemar leg go of my hand then sulk looking up at me. "Did you hurt my mommy?" He ask softly and my heart sinks at his voice.

"No I would never hurt your mommy, we just had a disagreement that's all go back and watch tv so I can talk to your mom in private please" I tell him then he nods and skip back to the living room.

Her mother walks over to us and give me a hug "it's so good to see yuh again Dionnis" she greets.

"Yes it is, we both have been busy" I tell her and she nods her head in agreement.

"In deed, are you staying for lunch?" She then ask and I look at Anéyah and she rolls her eyes again at me.

"Don't worry about her you can stay" her mother tells me and I nod.

I hear anéyah groan then she walks off towards the stairs and stop at the first one. "You coming or what?" She says and continue walking up the stairs.

Anéyah lucky me love her enuh because me don't tolerate attitude from nobody.

"Should I take off my shoes Ms. Marshall?" I query and she laughs. "Boy just go up de stairs dem please before she set this house pon fire and kill the whole a we in yah" she jokes and I laugh.

I make my way upstairs to her bedroom then turn closing the door and locking it behind me. I don't get the chance to take in the appearance of her bedroom because she rather be a brat right now.

"Wah all a dat for Anéyah?"I ask her and she roll her eyes at me yet another time.

"Mi and you no got nothing so hurry up say what yuh haffi say and leave please"she jeers and I kiss my teeth.

"Yuh one leff and yuh lucky we no dey a mi yard cause de amount of times yuh roll dem eye dey mi would a give you a hard fuck ease that attitude yuh a kip up" I tell her firmly and she sits on the bed, I can see her visibly relaxing now.

Hmm me know she fraid de rod a correction, look how she gone mute yah now.

I walk over to the bed and sit next to her. "Anéyah, Kira was just a fling she meant nothing to me. Most times I used protection while going with her but there were two times I can recall not using any in our last encounters. The baby may or may not be mine but I have never released inside of her" I explain and she kiss her teeth and turn her face away from me.

"Done with the attitude and speak to me like a grown woman, you lucky people home enuh"I tell her and she turns her head back to me with tears running down her face.

She exhale loudly, "fine" she says.
