I dropped Lemar off at school and I'm now on my way to work.

A black SUV has been tailing me ever since I left my house, I do have an idea of who it is but I'm not completely sure.

When I reach the stretch to my workplace the jeep overtakes my car and pulls over infront of me causing me to pull breaks and stop; I look behind me and another one is blocking me in.

I reach for my gun from underneath the seat and hold it to my side of me by the door. Justin jumps out of the SUV infront of me and I exhale putting my gun back under my seat, I had a feeling it was him but I had to keep my guard up in case it wasn't.

He comes by my window and I turn it down. "The boss wants to see you right now" he states and I nod.

I drive behind of his jeep while the other drive behind of me, we turn into the parking lot that is underneath the building and took the elevator up.

I quickly send Fredrick a message to let him know I would be late before turning my phone off. I walk down the hall then knock and enter my boss's office.

"You needed to see me sir?" I ask and he nods.

"I have been told your seeing Dionnis Millar, am I correct?" He inquire and I hesitate to answer.

"Yes I am, I thought our person lives are off limits?" I question.

"Yes it is but this family has been on our radar for 5years and we have been trying to get concrete evidence on them but failed miserably" he states and I know where he is going with this and I won't agree to it.

"Okay and what does this has to do with me?" I ask and pray he doesn't say what I think he would say.

"We need an inside man and you're perfect for the job" he says and I shake my head saying no.

"No I can't do it I won't hurt him like that, I've been single for 4 years and I finally found someone and you want me to offer up information that might get him or his family imprisoned?" I state and he groans.

"Look Anéyah I know you already paid your debt here but we just need this one last thing from you" he says and I roll my eyes.

"I've been working for the FBI for 3 years and I have helped to close over 23 cases with no complaints, this is not something I want to do" I admit and he sighs.

"I don't think you have a choice now go" he tells me and I storm out of his office.

How could I be so reckless and allow Justin to get the upper hand on me? I knew it was him that fed information to the boss about me.

Ever since I turned him down, he has been acting a bit strange and I found out he has been spying on me in his free time.

I can't handle anymore delusional men being in my life.

He looks at me while I walk back to the elevator and I roll my eyes at him.

Pussy ass nigga, I can't stand him.

I reach to work and sit behind my computer with my new assignment weighing on my mind.

I can't do this to Dionnis and his family. Francesca has been nothing but nice to me I can't betray them like that and I won't.

The FBI knows what I'm capable of so they will most likely use an agent to shadow me and I would find out about it immediately which doesn't make any sense.

I work clean and cover my tracks so there is nothing to trace back to me especially the FBI when I do special assignments for them.

Only Catalya & my uncle knows about me working with the FBI and I want to get Lya's opinion on this but I can't call her on my cell so I would have to call her from my work phone.

My uncle is in charge of the FBI Combat training division, I've been training with him before I started at the Federal Bureau so when it was time to do on job training no one could of come close to beating me.

I pick up the phone and call Lya, she answers immediately.

"What's wrong Anéyah? You only call me on this number when you're going to do something you'll regret" she states and I sigh.

"Please know this is hard for me and I didn't accept it, he said I have no choice even though I already repaid my debt" I tell her and she kiss her teeth.

"Why he no go suck out him wife, I'm sure is that him lacking mek him a go on so" she says and I want to laugh but I feel too awful.

"Maybe but he wants me to hand off incriminating information about Dionnis and his family" I confess and she laughs.

"Dionnis can't hurt a fly he's a business man" she says and I nod even though she can't see me.

Lya has no idea that Dionnis is a gang leader and his mom is a mafia queen. I know I can trust her with that information but it's not something I can tell her over the phone and it will have to be in our panic room at my home.

"I think you should come over later I have something to tell you" I tell her and she sighs.

"This doesn't sound good but I'll be there" she says.

"Thank you and please keep an open mind, love you bye" I tell her and she tells me she loves me too and I hang up.

I really hope Dionnis is street smart like he is book smart because so help me god he's in for a ride of his life.

"Do you think it's too soon for me to ask Anéyah to move in?" I ask Kenrick and he laughs.

"She would never move in with you if she hasn't formally introduced her son to you as yet, its clear she's leaving room for disappointment" he states and he is right; I haven't met her son, she's acting distant even after sex she would not come near me I'm sure her son can lay in the space between us.

She acts super weird sometimes that makes me wonder but I have not got the chance to question her about my concerns.

"So that's a hard no then, she's basically over at my place every weekend, cooking and cleaning she doesn't give aunty Bernadette the chance to do her job" I tell him and he chuckles.

"Yep that's her, she's very independent but just show her she can depend on you financially, emotionally and physically, I'm sure she will eventually open up to you once she sees that she can trust you" kenrick tells me and I nod.

"I'm really falling for this girl, I'm just afraid she doesn't feel the same way" I admit and he sigh.

"You didn't hear this from me but she has detachment issues; her last boyfriend never showed her affection or complimented her, she became detached and now she's traumatized" I confide in him.

I groan, "Jah jah so a bare work me gah put in because a some wasteman" I say and he nods.

"Yep but my question to you, is she worth all this trouble?" He asks me and I waste no time in answering.

"Of course she worth it" I say firmly and he smiles.

"Happy for both of you bro you two deserve each other" he states and I daps him.

"Thanks bro" I tell him.

My brother came and we went over some strategies on how to send a message to Reyes without it tracing back to us.

Our tech guy in Jamaica can't cover us in Miami which I find is ridiculous, if you're as good as you portray then you can hack into anywhere in the world.

"Well how it went with Néyah best friend?" I question Dré and he clears his throat.

"I got her number and she wanted me to come over later but she called when I was on my way here to cancel" he says and we laugh at him.

"De man thought he was gone get some pussy later" kenrick says and roar with laughter.

"She said why?" I ask and he nods.

"Something about anéyah telling her to come over and it's an emergency" he says and I can't help thinking something is up with her.

"Well what emergency anéyah could got so" kenrick says and I shrug.

"Lya is a certified EMT so I wonder if she's injured" he tells me and I take out my phone to call Anéyah.

"Hello" she says and I exhale.

"Hey, is everything okay with you?" I question and she takes too long to answer.

"Yes everything is fine, why?" She asks and I hope she doesn't think I'm keeping tabs on her.

"My brother told me Lya cancelled on him to go over to your place because you have an emergency and I just recently found out from kenrick that she is an EMT" I state and she chuckles.

"Lya is so dramatic, I just wanted her to check my vitals and oxygen levels because I had a severe asthma attack awhile ago" she says breathing heavily and I think I should go check on her just in case.

"Okay I'll come over later" I say.

"Later , like what time?" She asks and I can't help the feeling that she's hiding something.

"Like around 8:30 or a little after 9:00pm" I tell her.

"Okay Lya is here I have to go" she says and I tell her bye and she hangs up.

Dre looks at me and I sigh. "She's hiding something but I don't think Reyes got to her as yet" I state and they both nod.

"Well maybe she breed for you and wants to get rid of it" kenrick jokes and I kiss my teeth.

"You mussy Bloodclarrtt mad me and Anéyah would got it out" I state and they both laugh.

"Well you will find out later" Dre says and continue watching the game on the tv.

I had to make dinner and help Lemar with his homework before going to the panic room with Lya.

There is no signal in this room, I blocked all network connections for tonight and we usually don't walk with our phones inside anyway.

We left our phones in my bedroom on the dresser, I can access our house cameras from inside so I would see if anyone stops by especially Dionnis.

"What is so important that we had to come to the panic room?" Lya asks and I brace myself for her outbursts.

"Dionnis is a Don back home in Jamaica and I guess he was behind some crimes here in Miami" I confess to Lya.

"What!" She exclaims.

"So if Dionnis is a don what makes his brother?" She asks and I cover my mouth so she doesn't see me laughing.

"It no matter cause you nah go left him if you both get together" I state and she laughs.

"True, but still what is he?" She questions and I shrug.

"I did some research on him and I came up empty, straight A student like his brother, looks like he is a lawyer like his mom but he do not practice law as you can see he's a realtor working along side his brother" I say and she claps.

"Thank you lord, me no wan no badman" she says out loud and I laugh.

"I thought you liked the song gun man in she hole" I tease and watch her laugh while she holds her stomach.

"Yes I do but not in real life sis" she says still laughing.

"But Lya be for real you gone watch a big King Kong man like Diondré and think he's an angel?" I ask and she shrugs.

She exhales. "Anything is possible" she tells me.

"But that's not the worst part, mommy slash lawyer is a Mafia boss and her husband works for her" I confess and Lya throws her hands up in surrender, I swear Lya don't ever stop with the dramatics.

"So you okay with this?" She ask me and I nod.

"I am because I live in Miami, if I lived in Jamaica it would of been a whole different ball game" I tell her and she agrees.

"What are you going to do because the FBI is going to be looking to you for answers" Lya ask and I can't help feeling helpless, I know I just met him but I'm beginning to fall hard.

"Well dutty Néyah you ain't tell him how de sex was" she shouts and I roll my eyes.

"Let's just say he is a demon sent straight from hell" I tell her and her mouth hangs open while she steers at me.

"Wow, me hope it runs in the family only then me will turn a proper ground provision" she states and we both throw a laughing fit.

"Dionnis is a nice guy but I don't know if I'll ever be ready to fully give myself to him" I confess and sigh.

"Look just take some time to know him and if he is what you want then don't hold back you might miss your chance at a happily ever after" she says and I agree, I've let these men instill so much fear in me that I am now afraid to love the right man.

"You're right Lya I just have to take a leap of faith and hope this works out" I tell her and she holds my hand and squeeze it.

The camera system sends off an alert and I rush over to see who it is.

"Shit is dionnis" I say and Lya jumps up from her seat and walks over to me.

"Well look at that saved by the bell, well rather Dionnis" Lya says sarcastically and skips out of the room, I regret giving her the password now.

"Where are you going" I ask Lya and she turn to me with a smirk on her face.

"To see if me man hood big like yours" she winks and run upstairs for her phone.

I walk up the stairs behind her but instead I head towards the front door to see my man.

When I reach into the living room I was startled by the sight of Dionnis and Lemar talking and playing game together on the television.

I guess there is no more hiding him from Lemar in plain sight.

I massage my frontal lobe with my index and middle finger then walk over to them and sit.
