"She's gone"

"What do you mean by 'she's gone'" He asked.

"I mean she's left Ohio" I said.

"She's left Ohio?" He asked already angry.

"Yes, she did" I said.

"You've gotta be kidding me" He said and looked like he was thinking.

"That bitch!" He shouted.

"That bitch?!" I asked confused.

"She left me with no explanations... She just left... I practically gave her a life here. That ungrateful animal. Argggggggg.... I swear-"

"Shut the hell up will you" I said angrily.

"Hun?"

"I said shut up!" I groaned trying to control my anger.

But I certainly could not control my tongue.

"You, always complaining... I'll say this for the first and last time okay? So you better listen to every damn word I say."

Without glancing I could tell her was shocked.

"I'm anti social... Wanna know why? Cos you took the last thing in my life that I loved... You took Scar... You care about no one but yourself. You rant all day making sure that everyone and everything listens to your problems but do you even know one thing that bothers any of us?"

"But you said you forgave me" He said referring to Scar

"You really think imma let that go? I guess they were right afterall. You're inconsiderate, you believe you gave everyone the life they live... Well guess what? You are just a worthless good for nothing man whore, you're so irritating.... Gawddddddd" I screamed.

"I really don't wanna snap a bone in you today.... I really don't.... All because of Violet"

"That girl... She's the description of perfection... She loves you, she cares for you but you're too selfish and self absorbed to see that... I don't blame Violet... She blindly gave you her heart.... She was battling with a lot... Her health issues.... Gosh! She lost her memory when she heard you were cheating... You broke her... You destroyed her... Ever noticed Creed?"

"What does Creed have to do with this" He asked quietly.

"Oh! Mr. Boyfriend, Mr. Cheater, Mr. Bestfriend.... Haven't noticed yet... Well let me break the news to you... You ruined Creed. He met her first, he loved her, she loved him... You dared him to get with Daisy.... You broke her... You came into her world and destroyed her further. You-"

"You're a terrible friend, you're supposed to cover for me, you're supposed to help me"

"Help you? Help you in ruining her life? Don't you get it? She has been..."

"Been what hun? Suddenly lost your courage? If y'all love her so much follow her to California" He said as he laughed humourlessly.

"Quiet Borderline Personality Disorder. And guess what? She's never told you. You know why? Cos you've never cared enough to ask."

Creed walks in looking pale

"You bastard" Gunner shrieked as he jumped off his stool and launched at Creed.

Creed looked at him with a bored expression and didn't retaliate when Gunner threw punches at him. He just stood there accepting it all in.

Like he was not gonna recover from Violet leaving.

Gunner's hands were bruised.

He stood up and dusted himself as blood dripped from his fist.

Creed sat with his back to the wall and stared into thin air...

I walked over to Creed. I know he still loves her.

The same way I still love Scar.

"How do you feel?" I asked him

"Blank"

"What do you feel?" I asked

"Regret and fear" He said still staring into space.

"Fear?" I asked.

"Yes fear, I'm never gonna fall in love. It hurt... It-it... It hu-h-urts... It hur-ts so... so mu-mm-mu-ch. Ethan... It hurts badly" He said

His breath was tight and hitched. I could see it in his eyes... He was broken... Shattered within...

Then...

A sob escaped his lips...

Creed was strong but today was different...

He was hurt, he didn't get her, she didn't know him but... He loved her. More than anyone could imagine....

He wasn't ready to let go of Violet, he wasn't ready to forget her... He seemed to be holding on to her with his last breath.

He lost her... The same way he lost Amelia... They both (Violet and Creed) lost Amelia

His eyes were red, puffy and stressed. He had been crying for days, he looked lifeless and I knew it....

He was as fragile as Violet was.

He-

"We were talking remember?" Gunner said behind me.

So I can't think without being cut short by this bastard that ruined everyone.

"Yeah, we were" I said grinning with hatred.

"Creed, are you gonna be okay?" I asked looking back at Creed.

He had completely zoned out.

I smiled

"Lets talk Gunner" I said wickedly.

"Yeah" He said as he looked at his busted knuckles.

"I just have one question for you before I finally stop talking to you. Before you lose all your friends" I said as I smiled.

"What is it?" He asked harshly

Good to know he was angry

"Do you know who Sage's dad is?" I asked

And smiled inwardly

"Who's Sage?" He asked.

"I've been waiting for that question" I said

"Her sister" I said and punched him exactly where the sun doesn't shine.

"I'm not done with you Gunner. Talk trash about the Phoenix's and you answer to me and Gerald Phoenix" I said

He looked at me with confusion clear in his eyes as he tended himself

"Gerald Phoenix? The Gerald Phoenix?" He asked.

"Yeah, you know that guy that has been round the world, the best therapist, you know the guy that speaks and everyone falls silent. Yeah, that guy" I said sounding uninterested.

"Violet Phoenix!" He said as everything clicked together.

"Never call her name in your worthless life" I said

I walked to Creed who was in an entirely different world and we both left.
