Creed's POV

†Flashback continues†
"Hello?"

"Hi, its Creed from the party." He said.

"Oh Creed. Hope everything is good?" I said picking my words.

I only pick my words when I'm nervous. Am I nervous? And why?

"Violet! Are you still there?" He asked.

"Ummmm yeah I am" I said.

"Okay, so that's dinner at Bob's diner at 7" He said.

"Sure... I mean its cool... Ummm... I'll come-its"

"Violet! I know you'll come" He said while laughing.

"Yeah"

"Yeah"

Silence.

Is he waiting for me to speak or should I hang up? Why is this conversation so awkward?

★Creed's POV★

Why is she so silent? Did I say anything wrong? God why do I have to always mess things up?

And then the universe decides to kick my ass.

"Bro... Have you asked the Violet girl out yet?" Drew asked.

Shoot

Then she chuckled. I walked over to my phone and said "See you by 7" before I hung up.

"Drew! You ruined my plan" I screamed.

"I- bro that was unintentional. And I know you are scared to ask her but you should ask her soon." Drew said.

"Why?" I asked him.

"I got some information about her and she starts at our school on Monday. And Gunner..." He said, I froze.

"Drew, I need to get dressed" I panicked.

"Before you do that. Lets get this straight. She makes you happy that-"

"She makes me happy? Nah" I said nodding negatively.

"Dude you talked about her in your sleep through out the night" He said and chuckled.

"Okay, maybe I like her" I said looking at my feet.

"If she makes you happy, then go for her. If Gunner gets her first he's gonna wrap her up his finger or use her."

I shivered at the thought of the love of my life with her going crazy cos of Gunner.

Wait, what? Did I just say love of my life? Maybe I actually love her. Maybe.

Gunner was my best friend and him using girls wasn't new for him but the thought of seeing Violet broken by anyone made me sick and I wasn't going to let that happen.

"Thanks bro" I said as I went upstairs to my room.

«Fast forward to after dinner»

"Bye Smoke junior" I said laughing.

"Hey, don't say that. Someone could hear you" She said as she hit me playfully.

"Well I'll have my answer on Friday" I said with courage.

"Sure you will Creed" She said as she blushed.

"Goodnight" We both shouted and laughed.

As I got home I told Drew and he asked me to stay positive until we heard a knock on the door.

"Coming!" I yelled.

I walked downstairs and opened the door to see my closest friends. Gunner and Ashley.

"Bro" I said as Gunner and I shook.

"Ash..." I said as she punched me.

It wasn't like Violet's weak and friendly punch.

Why am I comparing my best friend to Violet.

«Fast forward to 30minutes later »
"That Daisy girl" Gunner said.

"What? Daisy... She's been in all my classes." I said hesistating.

"That makes it easier" Gunner says

"Okay" I said in anger as they turned to look at me.

"I'm gonna get some water. Need anything?" I asked them.

"Coke and Soda" Gunner answered.

As I got to the kitchen I let out a frustrated sigh.

"You're really gonna do this?"

I looked back and saw Drew looking at me in disgust.

"I have to" I said as I walked out of the kitchen with Coke, soda and vodka.

"Who's taking the vodka?" Ashley asked.

"Me" I said and took my keys and left.

I just asked Daisy out. What could probably happen? Violet likes me and I'll make sure she doesn't find out.

★Daisy's POV★

Best friend💝: You still coming?

Me: Sure. And I have huge news.

Best friend💝: Cool. Be here fast.

Me: See ya in 5

I'm in my childhood friend and best friends house. It was a huge mansion.

"Daisy!" She said as she walked up to me and enveloped me in a light hug.

"I've missed you" She says quietly

"You're still reserved and quiet. Live while you have life" I said shaking her as she laughed quietly.

"Lets go to my room" She suggested.

"So you're starting school"

"Yeah"

"Where?"

"One Harvey high school" She said.

"Omg! You're coming to my school" I screamed and hugged her tightly.

"So what was the huge news?" She asked.

"There's this guy in my school. We're always in the same class every year. He came to my house and hour ago and asked me out. He's cute, tall, loves fashion and he's so smart and so is his younger brother" I said.

"That's nice" She said.

"I'm gonna tell him yes on Friday" I said happily.

"A guy also asked me out. I went to a party and he was kinda down. We talked and he took me to dinner the next day. He asked me out. He's good looking with wavy brown hair and brown eyes" She said with love.

I was honestly happy that she found love.

"When did you start noticing those little things?" I asked.

"Maybe I love him" She said with hope and love shimmering in her eyes.

"So who is this guy? Maybe he goes to our school."

"Dunno. He said his name is-"

"Wait I never told you mine. He's Creed North. I can show you his pictures" I said as I smiled happily.

No answer.

"What's wrong Violet?"

★Violet's POV★

"Dunno. He said his name is-" But Daisy cut me off.

"Wait I never told you mine. He's Creed North. I can show you his pictures" She said as she smiled happily.

Creed North? The guy that made me feel ontop of the world. I got the best feeling talking to him. He made me smile and see the brighter side of life. In two days of meeting him. I fell in love with him and he broke me. No! This can't be true. I love him. Why does this have to happen to me?

"He also asked me out" I said flatly.

For a while Daisy was silent then she said "We both say no"

«Fast forward to a month later»

"Violet! Creed and I are now together" Daisy said with a smile.

"That's nice" I said with a tight smile and left before she could see the tears in my eyes.
