Violet's POV

"Vio... wake up" Sage said.

"No... wanna sleep"

"We're in California"

Wait what!

"We're in California?" I asked.

"Yeah"

"Where's mum?" I asked

"She's probably outside" Sage said as she picked up her phone.

I looked at her and....

Woah!!! My sister is a beauty.

"Why are you staring?" She asks

"Is there something on my face?" She asked as she wiped her face fervently.

"I know I'm gonna regret this, but you look beautiful, like an actual model... and... I- never mind" I said dismissively.

"Ouuuuuuu baby girl don't stop" She squealed happily.

"Here we go" My subconscious said.

"You know this morning in Ohio I was wondering... should I wear a striped top or not... then I finally decided but I didn't know if the horizontal or diagonal stripped top..."

Seems like California is gonna be fun.

"Did you hear me?"

"Hun?"

"I said mom called and requested that we come out of the jet. Our bags would be taken by one of the drivers" She said.

"Ummm... yeah, that's cool." I said standing up.

As I got off the jet I was met with a lot of black cars; toyota, honda... name it.
They were all here.

But then, reporters.

"Hey, take these shades" Sage said handing dark shades to me.

"Yeah, thanks" I mumbled.

"Lets go" Sage said leading the way.

We finally got to one of the cars with the reporters on our tail.

Paparazzi.

I chuckled to myself.

The car started moving and about 7 other cars were around us. Probably protecting us.

Oh, I forgot to tell you.

My family is effing rich and popular.

I picked my phone to listen to some music when Sage snatched my phone away from me.

It looked like she was sad but I could see another emotion in her eyes but... I didnt know what it was.

"You wanna get this?" She asked.

"Sure"

"You have to talk to me till we get home" She said with a smile.

"So when do I get my phone back?" I asked her.

She smiled. That smile!

Did I forget to tell you that we're all beautiful and handsome in our family?

Well... we are

Not to brag tho

"You get your phone back this night by 7 sharp" She said smiling triumphantly.

"Yeah. So what's up with you?" I asked her.

"I just wanna see where we're staying this time" She said.

Yeah... we move from mansion to mansion... like my parents have a lot of mansions.... I know what you're thinking... and yes, we're that rich.

"It's-"

"We're here" The driver announced.

I looked outside and there it was...

My new home...

It's beautiful...

"Its beautiful" Sage said voicing out my thoughts.

"Yeah... really beautiful"

Picture of their house is up there.

"Welcome to Beverly hills kids" Mom said.

"Mom... this house is awesome" Sage squealed as she ran into the house.

"How are you feeling?" Mom asked.

I looked into her eyes only to be met with a look...

She was worried, stressed and scared.

"Mom, I'm perfectly fine. And I must say you haven't lost your taste" I said referring to the house.

"Well actually... I had a lot of choices..."

Here we go. At least I changed the mood.

After talking about how she decided to buy the house a call came in. On seeing the caller ID...

"Honey, duty calls. I have to get to work. I'll call Harley to bring in your boxes" She said and kissed my head.

Very, very busy woman.

I walked around the house for a while and then I finally decided to arrange my room.

Wait! Where's Sage?

I'm sure she's okay.

I brought out my boxes and arranged my closet.

But wow!!!

Mom!!!!

She knows me too well.

My room was...

I went to other rooms and they were beautifully decorated.

Sage's room 👆👆

Mom was surely expecting me to have a bunch of friends.

Sage's POV

Are you kidding me?

Mom is still as crazy as ever...

My room was the definition of paradise

My name on my door?!

Mom!!!!

I love this woman so much.

I was still with Violet's phone.

Time for action.

I opened her phone and...

Factory reset...

Oh yeah...

She must not remember those nasty boys from Ohio.

I cleared her phone.

On getting out of my room, I saw a room labelled "Violet" and knocked.

"Come in" She said.

"Oh wow" That was all I could say after seeing Violet's room.

Mom is definitely something else.

"Wow right?" Vio asked.

"Yeah, this place looks like a mini heaven" I said with a smile.

"Yeah... yours is so... bold" She said looking for the perfect word to describe my room.

"Yeah. The maids will cook and clean" I informed her.

"I trust mom" She said with a smile.

Oh how much I've missed that smile.

I thought.

"Here you go" I said stretching her phone towards her.

"Thanks" She said happily as she opened her phone.

I waited for her reaction....

"I need a new phone" She said.

Now that's my Violet.

"Tell mom" I said.

"Will do"

"Come on lets go downstairs and get some food" I said with a smile.

"Yeah. I'm really tired" She admitted.

"But you have to eat" I said.

"I know" She said and got up as we walked to the kitchen.
