i felt her eyes on me but i didn't look back, i couldn't? she was about to kiss another guy in front of me.

out of the corner of my eye i saw aaron cup her jaw like i do.

i saw her lips move with his for a solid second, like mine are supposed to. he didn't even know he was breaking bro code, but he was. everyone's attention was back on the game but i couldn't stop thinking about it? why didn't emma say no to the dare? why has emma been eyeballing him all night? was she into him or something?

aaron was just sitting back and enjoying the aftermath. the smuggest look on his face, i hated it.

emma's eyes landed on me, but i didn't look back as much as i wanted to. i knew myself too well. i would lose it just looking at her.

i wasn't even paying attention to the game until grayson shook me by my shoulders, getting me out of my trance.

"truth or dare ethan?" he asked. i rolled my eyes before answering.

"truth."

"is it true you just got mega jealous over emma kissing aaron?"

what the fuck gray?

with that i just stormed out the house, not looking back. i drove off to wherever i could. i just needed to drive.

grayson's pov

after the words left my mouth i see ethan tense up, nervous.

i immediately regretted asking him that, i just thought it'd be funny. i didn't realize that it had actually got to him.

aaron looked confused as ever, he didn't know about ethan and emma.

emma looked just as confused, but why was she? if he kissed ellie she would be just as pissed. they aren't together, who cares?

the game carried on, after the solid five minutes of everyone just looking at each other awkwardly.

"truth or dare grayson?" i hadn't really heard ellie's voice until now. she sounded a lot older than she actually looked.

i debated for a second, until coming to a conclusion of dare. she smiled and looked to hannah, like she was talking to her with her eyes, hannah nodded.

"i dare you to tell us what's really going on with emma and ethan." she smiled and honestly it was really cute.

it wasn't my business to share. and i'm sure emma hasn't told her closest friends for a reason, but it was a dare.

plus ethan wasn't here to attack my ass.

"emma and ethan like each other and they've kissed blah blah blah." i tried not to say everything so i just brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal.

emma was giving me the dirtiest look i had ever seen, damn girl calm down you kissed aaron. no room to judge!

"okay anyways." aaron spoke up, pushing himself off of the couch and sitting on the floor next to emma.

weird.

everyone left except aaron, and that's because he was staying over night. i was about to call it a night when ethan stormed through the front door, his keys in his hand before sliding them into his pocket, looking around for the girls, before realizing they left. he looked relieved.

"they left?" his eyes on me then on aaron, his jaw clenched. was he really mad about a dare she had no choice about?

"yeah, like an hour ago. where did you do?" i mean he did leave for two hours, and i know damn well he didn't go to james' house since james had been texting me the whole night. don't ask.

he let out a big sigh and just walked off to his room, slamming his door shut loudly. leaving aaron and i just sitting in the living room watching a random ass documentary on netflix.

about thirty minutes had passed and i decided to go to bed.

hannah's pov

my eyes opened, my hands coming up to rub them as i sat up. ellie was laying next to me, still dead asleep, i looked to the spot on the bed next to her, emma was still sleeping too.

i decided to let them sleep, and just to chill on my phone for awhile.

i would never think in a million years i would ever get that notification. i had already added him so i just took a snap of ellie sleeping, sorry ellie.

"hi?" i typed, sliding the black bar with the text on it down to cover her face slightly.

in only seconds he had opened it, i don't know why i felt nervous.

he didn't respond with a snap, he just messaged me something. i waited a little bit before eagerly opening it.

she's cute

i turned my phone off and rolled to my side, looking at ellie before deciding on waking them up.

i was bored!

i shook her slightly, her eyes flickering open. "five more minutes." she requested, her eyes flying shut again.

i rolled out of the bed to try and wake emma up.

we were out at some pancake house, it wasn't ihop but i didn't catch the name.

emma and ellie were talking about youtube but i couldn't stop thinking about grayson, and then i reminded myself he wanted emma to call ethan.

"emma call ethan." i blurted out.

her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, how was i about to explain this to her?

"just do it."

she nodded and got up, walking outside, i saw her phone raised up to her ear.

she was starting to yell?
