I'm alive, bitch.

This was supposed to go up as I was heading over to my high school graduation but, as you can all understand, I was too focused on prepping for my graduation to be able to finish this, so by the time any of you are reading this, I am already graduated, so be happy for me everyone, I graduated!  And for those who are wondering, yes, I have a life and responsibilities outside of this site which was honestly why I took a hiatus.

For those who are wondering, I have been on a hiatus for basically the entirety of 2019, I was still around for January and the majority of February, but by March it was absolute radio silence until the middle of May, and I did check notifications, but even then I hardly looked at comments, so I honestly was focusing on my life and my school, and now it's the summer so I have more time, so now I'm here!

So I'm basically here to announce my return and explain to you guys my plans for my stories and what is going to happen, because it's important to be transparent about certain plans that seem to be up in the air, and ya'll have thrown the same question to me for the past few months and I'm honestly about to scream because the name on my account has literally been "hiatus" but whatever.

So moving on!

𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬

Surprise, surprise, we're focusing on this first, but this is a writing account so this is what you came for. So! To answer every single question I've been asked:

No, this story is not discontinued, I have just been on hiatus. I'm back now, so I will continue writing, but if you look at my profile, I have a lot of fics I'm working on, so please be patient because I am not a writing machine, I am a person and I'd appreciate ya'll cutting me some slack

Also, just so we're all aware, if you didn't see my other update back when I explained myself, here it is now: I nearly didn't graduate because I was failing three classes. So don't you dare say anything about me managing my time better or not taking on too many projects, because I have ADHD and it went undiagnosed until literally the beginning of this year, so excuse me for having trouble concentrating on responsibilities, let alone ones that don't affect my future significantly, i.e. this account.

But I really do care about my fics and I have been very excited to come back, and so I'm here to explain the process with which I'm gonna go about it, because as ya'll can see, the Hero of Heroes series is not caught up to where I wanted to be before Endgame came out, so I'm just gonna explain what's going on with that.

So, for those of you who don't know, I have an Infinity War/Endgame fic coming out called Swan Song, and it's been in the works since before Infinity War even came out, so over a year at this point, and it's not being written yet because I need to get all of the fics that will be set prior to Infinity War out of the way, and the way I'm deciding what fics those are is that any fic set within a movie or between movies released prior to Endgame will be finished first, because all those characters need to make an appearance, so...

What's gonna happen is I'm just gonna write on my terms. I wanted things by a deadline, but if I'm being honest, feeling so rushed to finish stuff took the fun out of it for me, and I really do miss having fun while writing and enjoying what I wrote and remembering what it was like to do that (like, I didn't get to fully enjoy writing Human Condition and Inside Voices, and I'm sad about it.) So I'm just gonna write and take however long and I need, and once I get there, I'll drop Swan Song.

That does mean, unfortunately, it'll be some time before I write Significant Figures, the sequel to Lonely Hearts set in Far From Home, because I just need to make sure things are linear, like, I already spoiled an event in Skinny Love through Sleeping Beauty, and that event hasn't even happened yet, it's a mess.

So that's what's going to happen. I'll be posting new fics, especially since I gotta be thorough with the Hero of Heroes series, but now that I can slow down, there will be updates for my other Marvel fics, as well as other fandom fics that I have been neglecting.

I posted on my Instagram that I will be rewriting certain fics because they are still at a point where it's feasible to rewrite everything because I don't like the way the story went and want to change it in order to put out the best story possible, and I can't do that if I'm unhappy and uncomfortable with the nature of the story.

Now that it's summer, I'm going to be much more active on this account and will try to update as much as possible, hopefully every day, but let it be known that I won't always be on my A-game and, starting August 20th, I can't promise that I will be able to devote all my time to writing, because I will be transitioning to college, so I need to be able put the majority of my energy into making sure I start off on a good foot so I can succeed and do well in life, so ya'll better understand that I might need to go on slight hiatuses from time to time because my real life is more important.

Also, in terms of reading, like I had done earlier on before I took my hiatus, I said that I would mainly be focused on writing rather than reading on here. Of course, I will try to read as much as possible, because I do care and do want to see, but I still struggle to focus on reading, and, also, I still have jealousy issues, so to help me work on that, it's better I don't feed into it as much as I used to, so please just understand I care about all of you, but this is what needs to happen.
