to say that jungkook was all smiles the next day would be the understatement of the year.

he woke up early again, but much earlier than yesterday, and what's more surprising is that he cooked breakfast for all. his dad even mistook him as a robber because he's not used to seeing a male instead of jungkook's mom in the kitchen, but when he came close, he realized that it's his son.

the two adults sat on the dining table as jungkook ran from here to there, taking the dishes from the kitchen to the table. his dad raised a brow at the dishes in front of him and then asked his mom of what happened to jungkook, and she just shrugged.

after saying the grace before meals, jungkook grinned and started eating, unaware of the stares directed to him. he only noticed it when he was about to ask his mom to pass the bacon.

he noticed that their plates are still empty, making him frown. "waeyo? dont you like my cooking? i can cook some—"

"jungkook, are you okay?" his dad asked.

jungkook raised a brow but slowly nodded. "yeah, i am perfectly okay, why?"

"youve been acting weird since yesterday. and taehyung noticed it, too." his mom piped in.

jungkook flushed scarlet and turned away, picking up his tissue and wiping his lips with it. he cleared his throat and locked his hands in betwren his thighs, suddenly feeling small.

"do you want to talk about it?" his dad asked softly, seeing that jungkook's self-esteem had dropped down.

jungkook bit his lip and shook his head slowly. "i-i dont want to disappoint you guys..."

his mom sighed and ran a hand against her son's arm. "jungkook-ah, we accepted you being gay wholeheartedly. we support you in everything you do, although sometimes it might not seem like it."

the boy sighed and gave in, telling his parents about the fourteen days thing he's doing and how taehyung helps him. the whole time he was telling the story, he didnt realize and notice the smirks and twinkles in his parents' eyes, who both seem excited of what happens next.

his dad smiled. "i sure hope that this yoongay kid is decent, or else he's going to hell." he said, cracking his knuckles.

jungkook rolled his eyes while his mom slapped her husband's arm playfully. "appa, it's yoongi, not yoongay."

they resumed eating breakfast, the mood much lighter and happier. after the meal, jungkook went back to his room with a grin on his face and a lighter heart.

he then reached for his phone and sent yoongi a message.
