After a 10 min walk from the park, we finally arrived at Audrey's house. Although she'd been in my house a lot of times I've never been at her place. I knew where she lived 'cause we'd met outside lots of times, but I felt kind of nervous.

I didn't see Brian out there so I deduced he was inside the house. Was this the first time he was in her house? Had he been in her room before? Did he know her mother?

A lot of thoughts crossed my mind, multiple questions. However, it didn't matter how much I tried to block them as they kept on driving me crazy for I knew I couldn't answer any of those.

I felt jealous... But it was because I liked Audrey, right? 

Yeah, I like Audrey.

I tried to convince myself that this was true. Even though deep inside me I knew it was far from the truth. I couldn't have fallen for my best friend. I mean, I've know him since we were little kids. And the first time I saw Audrey I knew she was the one I wanted and had been looking for all this time.
