All three of us were sitting around the table in the mess hall. We'd been confined to the safehouse for the past two days, most of our wounds had healed by now. The physical one's anyway. I stared at my untouched breakfast.

Glair's voice was pleading.

"Pixie, you, you need to eat something."

I sighed and went back to staring at my food. I didn't notice Archie approaching us until he spoke. Tertle was trying to kill him with a glare.

"Get up you three, we're leaving."

Tertle frowned. "Where are we going?"

Archie turned and walked away.

"We're going hunting."
