Chapter 38 AKA Gowther's back baby

Before we dive deep into Gowther's return let's first talk about what happened this chapter.

This chapter on its own is pretty simple.
We get our crew as babies ar first Anne and Nasiens still have their consciousness intact but soon after they mentally turn into babies.

We get a buch of panels of our crew as babies as Ardbeg tries to get the dragon handle from Percy who has ridiculous grip strength.

Then Anne comes in as we saw that Anne makes Ardbeg remember his own daughter.

I honestly can't faut Ardbeg for being the way he is. Anyone would go crazy vengeful if they saw their child crumble into a pile of dust in front of them. Ardbeg isn't a bad guy he's just a dude suffering from the loss of his daughter and the fact that he sees his daughter in Anne just makes it even sadder. Ardbeg just wants to see his daughter again, that's all he wants.

Then the "elder" from the demon village came in the scene. As the "elder proposes a deal with Ardbeg.

Now, this is where it gets interesting, Ardbwg notices that the elder didn't age back at all thus making the "elder" not human. The "elder then explained how Ardbeg's magic works and how it would take atleast three while days until it finally takes effect on him. Arbeg asked who is the "elder" and soon enough we know exactly who he is.

THAT FUCKING POSE!!!

IN THE ENTIRE NANATSU NO TAIZAI UNIVERSE THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON WHO DOES THAT POSE.

THAT'S NONE OTHER THAN THE GOAT SIN OF LUST HIMSELF, GOWTHER.

That legitimately came out of know where. Gowther is the elder this whole time and honestly I busted out laughing because that is such a perfect way to reintroduce Gowther in the story and now everything about the elder makes perfect sense now.

After I read this chapter, I reread through the chapters where the elder is present and knowing that he's Gowther this entire time it just makes sense.

It makes sense how he's so knowledgeable, how Sin is comfortable with him, how Sin isn't even pissed that the elder made him fall asleep. How the elder deemed himself separated from the village, he never adresses them through "us" or "we" but as "the villagers". How he isn't affected by the goddess amber. How Sin called his magic "creepy". How he has a totally different view of the prophecy from Arthur's knights and Sin. Hell, it makes sense why the he looks like that.

Now, I do have a few questions.

What is Gowther doing at that village?

Does Meliodas or Zeldris know about the village's existence?

There is also this text at the end of the chapter;

"In the next issue, The Seven Deadly Sins will finally appear!!!"

Does this mean we'll be seeing more???

Leave your own thoughts about the chapter on comments, I'd love to hear them.
