Chapter 37
I haven't really written these consistently because there really isn't a lot to talk about.
Back in Chapter 36 Sin gave Percival a piece of advice to help him with the beast's horns.
Percy managed to cut off the horns of the beast and thus, the crew proceeded to prepare their attack on Ardbeg but the bastard ran off. Which for me is quite odd because compared to the previous Holy Knights Percy and the others faced Ardbeg seems pretty underwhelming. This is also pointed out by Percy and Anne later on in the Chapter.
Percy then proclaimed that they'd go after Ardbeg because they still need to release the Demons from the crystal and we got this amazing interaction between Percy and the Elder.
I love the fact that Percy just straight up doesn't discriminate. He doesn't care if they're demons. As long as they are good it doesn't what they are to him.
I also need to add this little piece of evidence tying to Sin's identity. We know back in Cant that Anne's horse, Sylvan knows Sin's true identity. And in this panel, Sylvan refers to Sin as "Sir"
Throughout the series, we are told that the prophecy of the Four Knights is that they'll be the ones who'll lead to Arthur's demise and destroy the world. But the elder knows a totally different prophecy about the knights.
Then, we arrived at the cave and Sin seems to be aware of a creepy magic force, Sin mentioned he felt it again and it must be his. Back in Chapter 32 Sin sensed odd magic across the demon town, it could be the same magic force he's talking about right now.
We then get to learn what could be Ardbeg's magic as the group slowly turned into babies and I must say. THEY'RE SO SMOL AND CUTE I WANNA SQUISH THEM.
Now, there's this post on Twitter that we need to talk about.
The appearance of one or more Sins around Chapters 38 and 39.
We are already in Chapter 37 and one more chapter left and we're there.
The big question here is who would appear?
Now, this is just a theory but I believe it's King or Gowther, it might be both.
After what just happened in this chapter those two, are my best bet.
Ardbeg has to ability to revert people back to their childlike form, he can make them extremely vulnerable in that state even if he's facing someone way stronger than him, he can win. He did state that it takes time for the magic to take effect but Ardbeg is currently hidden right now if he notices another presence he would do the same thing to them. I'm giving Ardbeg the benefit of the doubt that his magic works on all races. The only Sins that are immune to this are Gowther because he's a doll, and King because he's a fairy.
We really didn't see Sin during the process of the group turning into babies, maybe he turned into a fox cub or he might have reverted back to his original form but he's a baby.
The group is defenseless at this moment and they need outside forces to help them.
Or it could just be anyone of the Sins if they're fast enough to find Ardbeg and I have full confidence that they absolutely can.
That aside, whoever the Sin or Sins would appear I just hope they have a badass entrance. I love Escanor, Ban, and King's entrace. Gowther and Meli's are also great. Merlin and Diane are pretty okay.
What do you think? Who do you think would appear?
