Chapter 63: A call away
Jimin was wrapped in a red and soft bathrobe that was meant for a woman, but Jimin chose to wear it since he couldn't fit the masculine robe like Jungkook. The older stepped into the bathroom and switched on the light to look around and stepped in to gaze at the bathtub while he waited for Jungkook. Jimin ran his hand along the bathtub and just gazed at the shower. Thinking of which one would be better to use.
Jungkook then stepped in with a black robe that was offered with the room so he stepped in and gazed at Jimin with a smile, just watching the older already waiting for him made Jungkook feel happy. "So, what will it be?" Jungkook asked as he stepped up to Jimin and pointed to the shower with one hand and pointed to the bath with the other. "Bath or shower?"
"A bath would be nice." Jimin answered with the biggest smile and a hint of blush tinted onto his face.
"You don't have to get so embarrassed with me, Baby~ I don't bite." Jungkook added as Jimin smiled and reached over to the faucet and turned it on while he sat on the side of the bath.
"Yes, yes you do bite. Go get the soap." Jimin added as he pointed to the sink where there was a pack of new shampoos, conditioners and body washes along with two loofahs, and soap for a bubble bath just to relax in.
"I think... This room is almost like a love hotel~" Jungkook mentioned and this made Jimin giggle and watch the water slowly fill up the bath.
"Then I guess we chose the best room." Jimin said as he stood up and walked up to the younger and pulled him close with a big smile. With such force, Jungkook was surprised Jimin pulled the younger close and gazed up at the boy with a smile.
"Wouldn't you want to put on your contacts?" Jungkook asked as Jimin giggled and shook his head.
"I'll just take off my glasses." Jimin replied and started to undo the belt along Jungkook's robe. "It's not that big of a deal. We're are just bathing, right?" Jimin asked as he tilted his head and gazed at Jungkook. "..right?"
"Fine." Jungkook smiled and took off Jimin's glasses as soon as the older managed to pull Jungkook's belt along his robe off. Jungkook rose his hand up to the belt of Jimin's robe while he pulled it off as well and took the robe off his lover's small and plumped shoulders to gaze at the many purple hickeys he alone sucked onto Jimin. There was hickeys along the base of his neck, his chest, and lower torso leading to his inner thigh.
One thing that came across Jungkook's mind while he looked at Jimin, he thought of Jimin as such a beautiful man, perfect at every little thing even his figure was intriguing towards Jungkook. Yet, Jimin just stood there, not being able to tell where Jungkook was staring, but he didn't really care since he loved the feeling of Jungkook looking at him like this. The younger then snapped out of the thought as he dropped his robe and got into the tub with the older to sit back and have Jimin lay on him.
Jimin pressed his body against Jungkook and let out an exhale while he leaned on the younger and rose his hand up to softly caress Jungkook's face to move his head against his and have their face close.
"What are you doing?" Jungkook laughed as he looked down at Jimin.
"Thinking..."
"I already know what it is... Just by telling by that face, I know..." Jungkook sighed and turned his face away to grab the soaps while Jimin moved forward a bit so Jungkook could have room to set the loofahs and soap onto the small table to hold the soaps in place just like where he set Jimin's glasses.
"It's just that... I-"
"I don't want to hear it." Jungkook said as Jimin looked at Jungkook and rolled his eyes while he gazed down at the blurry view of the water. Jungkook didn't notice this after, but he then set the bottles close by.
The boy had a reason why he chose not to hear Jimin's words again. He would say it over and over again to the point where Jungkook just couldn't sit there and hear Jimin complain without saying something in return... But once he does, Jimin just tells the younger to stop and never talk about this again. So, Jungkook didn't want to hear this argument get out of control.
Jimin grew silent and hugged himself while he looked down at the water until he felt the younger place his hand on Jimin's shoulder. "I'm sorry..." Jimin added and looked back at the younger. "It just feels like... We're married right now and I don't have anyone waiting for my call or text... I just have you."
"Just don't think about us as a married couple... You said it yourself, you don't want to marry me too soon... So, just thinking that is enough to make you upset and sad. We are just a couple... Okay?"
"I know that... But thinking of us as a married couple just makes me happy... But when I realize, the only married one here is me. Yet, I'm not married to the one I want." Jimin mentioned with a sigh after watching Jungkook lay back and gaze at the older just sitting there silently and hugging himself.
"We will get married in the future. You just need to break it off as soon as you get back. How many times do I have to tell you? Jimin, this is every day you bring this conversation up. Is it really eating you alive? If you keep this up, you won't make it to new years or even Christmas!" Jungkook mentioned as he passed his hand through the warm and clear water. "Stop talking about it..."
"I'm sorry..." Jimin repeated into a whisper and looked at Jungkook again. "I really am trying to keep it in, but looking at the way you kiss me, hug me close or even hold my hand to sleep makes me wish I could have such a precious moment like this again without belonging to someone else. You should be listen to me..."
"You never like it when I share my thoughts. But, just listening to you complain about the same things get me upset. I may seem like a perfect man that loves you unconditionally, but I too have my meltdowns and issues on things like these." Jungkook said and placed his hands on Jimin's shoulders from the back and pulled him to lay on his chest. "I've told you something above the lines of how jealous I get when you mention her or your marriage."
Jimin stayed gazing at the bathwater as he nodded slightly and gazed down at the bath water. Not wanting to pry his eyes from it. Deep down, he was confused, suffering and it only made him envy... Envy those young and beautiful people who were born into a loving family that would deny millions and billions of won so they wouldn't lose their child to some pack of puppet masters that love to sew smiles onto their puppet's faces. Just for money and this alone didn't surprise Jimin. Growing up, he always wondered how it felt to marry... But not like this... not when he was thrown into a marriage and had his smile sewn onto his face along with that curse carved into a ring form.
The younger knew what Jimin felt... Yet he could never fully understand what Jimin felt. It was like completing the puzzle by having someone guide you on where to put it without solving it on your own. Jungkook didn't understand Jimin to feel empathy, but he did feel sympathy towards him and believed that was all he could give. There was no way Jungkook could ever experience something as horrible as that.
"Hey... Don't be like that, Baby." Jungkook whispered and kissed Jimin's lips. Not wanting to bear with the silence. Since Jimin couldn't talk out loud about his feelings, he would have to just think about it and talk to himself. Keeping it bottled up.
Jungkook held Jimin close to his body while he made sure Jimin washed himself. The boy thought to himself on many ways to get Jimin's mind out of the thoughts he buried himself in silently. After the bath, Jungkook walked out with Jimin as they held hands. Jimin was able to get himself back into reality, however... he knew he still had yet to call Yun-se like he promised.
Jimin placed on his glasses while he tied the robe belt along his waist. Walking up to his phone and went onto his contacts, but just before he could call, Jungkook looked over at Jimin while he still wore his robe and cleared his throat. "Calling at this hour would get you in trouble. You landed in Mexico hours ago." Jungkook advised but Jimin sighed and looked at the younger.
"I know.. But, she'll never know that." Jimin added. Grabbing his phone and stepping out of his room to where the outside opening was. Jimin drew the curtains open and pushed the dividers aside as he stepped out and sat down by the tanning chairs. Jungkook watched Jimin place the phone up to his ear and rub his eyes as he laid back on the tanning chair in silence.
"Hello? Hi, Yun-se!" Jimin said in a happy tone while deep down he regretted the call. "I'm here in Cozumel now. Yes... Everyone is here. Including Jungkook. Yes, I have my own room..." Jimin lied while Jungkook watched and sat down on the chair to look at the man through it all. "It's really beautiful. No, I didn't take pictures... I will! I was just really jet lagged today." Jimin said and chuckled. But of course, Jungkook knew every little smile and chuckle was just staged... Just like his love for his wife.
Jungkook felt so much need to walk up to the phone and snatch it away from Jimin's hands just to hang up. He despised Jimin's need to stretch the truth but he did it to hold back the wave of issues that would just throw him off... So he decided it'll be best to save it for later until he's strong enough to go against it by the end of this trip. On the other hand, silence filled Jungkook's mind. By just watching his puppet continue talking and staging a performance to please the crowd.
"No, I love you more. I miss you~" Jimin said to the phone as his eyes started to glisten in the light of the moon raising from afar as his glasses clouded up like the clouds in the sky. "Goodbye, Yun~ have a great day at work." Jimin said as he hung up and just then, he placed his phone down to look at the ground and cover his mouth while tears as blue as sapphires shed from his beautiful, dark brown eyes.
A load of disgust overwhelmed Jimin from that call... And at that moment, Jungkook began to think to himself as he placed on his own glasses to have a good look at Jimin. The younger then stopped and realized that maybe he didn't have to match wedding rings with Jimin... He could have Jimin to himself and own him without a ring that ties down the knot. Rather, the younger could have Jimin promise their love with just a simple promise ring alone. That was what Jungkook longed to get the older now.
