Opal looked at her phone then at the wall clock "class is almost over" she whispered to herself . Tapping her foot as the Bell ring. Opal sighs in relief grading her backpack walking out of the class. She walks out of the school looking around for mist but don't see her.

'That's weird I thought i see her in the morning' opal though walking away worried.
"Hey opal"
Opal looked behind her, seeing mist walking over looking pale. "You okay mist?" Opal asks mist walk over.

"Ya just a cold" mist said sniffing. Opal sighs worried. "Okay…" she said as opal and mist walked to the firestation.

Bobby walk over to them smiling "hey kids"
He said.
Mist started coughing hard.
Bobby looked worried "mist if you're sick You can't be here" he said.

"WHAT" mist yelld "go home mist" bobby said "call your mom to come pick You up" he said.

" Okay 1. My house is 10 minutes away from here. 2  it's just a cold, " Mist said. "Still mist You can't be here well sick" bobby said
Mist sighs "why?" She ask

"I don't know what the rules are at your school but here You can't work well sick" bobby said
"At our school your also not supposed to be there well sick but they sometimes will make exceptions if it's something like a cold" opal said

Bobby sigh "mist go Home" he said. Mist stade quiet for a moment "My mom took My keys to the house away" she said
"Okay….then call your parents to come get You" bobby said

"My dad is at work and My mom grocering shopping" mist said. "MIST call your parents DON'T make this harder than it needs to be!" Bobby yelled making mist flinch

Mist bit her lip grading her phone calling Janice "mom come pick me up. They won't let me stay" she said.
"Are they really that sanstive?" Janice asks, annoyed. "I'll come get You " she add

*A few minutes later*

Janice walks over hearing mist coughing. Bobby look at her annoyed "don't let her come back until She's better"
"She wanted to come" janice said

"So what " bobby yelld annoyed. Janice gleard at him "don't tell me how to parent My child" she said "lets go mist"
Mist couth walking over.
Bobby watches them lead, sighing worried.

*Later that day*

Opal gread her stuff walking out of the firestation walking to her house. She humm to herself smiling.

She entered her house locking the door "hey sis" opal looked at her brother topaz eating cheese and crackers "how was the shadowing?" He ask

"Pretty good" opal said smiling  "i'm guessing dad is doing the night shift" she said

"Nop '' topaz answers ''his in his room got back a few minutes before you" he added.
Opal nodded going to the freezer grading some frozen Nuggets heating them up

Jasper walk down the stairs looking tired "oh hey opal" he said
"Hey dad. How was work?" She ask
"Is Captain Jack still being a jerk?" Topaz ask

Jasper stade quietly looking outside the window "get ready for bed You two" he said walking back to his room.
Opal and topaz look at each other concern

*That night*

Opal woke up to yelling coming from her dad's room she ran to the hallway seeing her dad run out of the house.

Her and topaz followed confused "You okay dad" both said.
"Y-yes" Jasper said "just a nightmare ..go back to your room" he said looking at the sky.

Topaz and Opal look at each other worried walking away.
