it was so long since yoongi couldn't remember the first day that he met hoseok for the first time. the time where hoseok was being called names by other kids. the day where hoseok said his name to yoongi's ears. the day where yoongi's life was going to change forever. it was just six years ago.

kim namjoon: 26 years old

kim seokjin: [not yet included]

min yoongi: 15 years old

jung hoseok: 14 years old

park jimin: 13 years old

kim taehyung: 13 years old

jeon jeongguk: 14 years old

"yoongi, long time!" a man came out of a car. his dimples were visible as he smiled. yoongi was confused as to who was calling him. that was until he saw the man approaching him. his smile grew wider and wider as his tears were welling up.

"joonie!" yoongi jumped namjoon and hugged him. he hadn't seen him since six years ago when he was driving him to the foster care facility. namjoon never forgot yoongi, not once he knew he was a special child.

"you still work here?" yoongi asked after the hug.

"yeah, i have nowhere else to go to so...yeah," namjoon laughed.

namjoon was twenty when met yoongi but now he was twenty six, as usual, he grew older.

namjoon and yoongi talked for a while before departing back to what they were doing, namjoon going back to work and yoongi watching over hoseok as usual.

yoongi, hoseok, and taehyung were now older and watch over themselves but yoongi couldn't help but to make sure other kids didn't hurt or make fun of hoseok again. the teenagers were back at the facility to just have a visit over what has been happening over the six years that they were gone.

"yoongi, you still haven't been adopted?" jimin went up to yoongi and pulled him into a deep hug while jeongguk did the same to hoseok. jeongguk has been feeling sad over the past six years because he expected his parents to pick him up again but they never did, leaving jeongguk disappointed. everyone, even jimin tried to explain to the boy but he never listened.

"no, but i'm glad because i can spent more time with hobi," yoongi smiled. taehyung sneaked up behind yoongi and tried to scare him but failed miserably. taehyung and yoongi grew together over the years and grew a bond. they were like partners in crime and could possibly rob a bank together if it weren't against the law.

"yoongs, hobi's getting starred at, we should go," taehyung whispered in yoongi's ears. yoongi looked around and there were people the same age as them starring at hoseok and whispering something in each others ears. yoongi got a hold of hoseok's hand but he didn't leave with him. instead yoongi faced the mean people, "what is wrong with all of you?"

everyone lifted their eyes off hoseok and looked at yoongi.

"why are you people giving him such bad eyes? just because someone made up rumors about him that aren't even remotely true? he never had a breakdown here nor does he at home. he cries but doesn't everyone? he's showing that he's strong by showing emotion and you all are showing cowardness by discrediting a human being," yoongi spoke, holding hoseok's hand.

yoongi looked around to see people's reaction but all people did was roll their eyes at him. yoongi didn't care thought, he knew that they were just afraid because they were wrong. yoongi smiled and left the playroom with hoseok.

it was a total of ninety times that the four visited the foster care facility. on that day that yoongi called out all the bad people, jungsook had turned 21 years of age and had left the foster care. she was legally an adult now but she still visited her little brother who was 16 years of age. just two years and they would be able to have a life of their own.

yoongi was fifteen, hoseok was fourteen, taehyung was thirteen, jimin was thirteen, jeongguk was fourteen and namjoon was twenty six.

the four were going home when hoseok started breathing heavily. he looked at yoongi for help but yoongi didn't know what to do so he yelled for help. "mom, hoseok can't breathe!"

the mother looked through her rear mirror and she saw that hoseok was clinging onto his chest as he was trying to breathe properly. he wasn't choking, it was clear. it was something else that was making hoseok not be able to breathe. the mother pulled over the car in a grocery store parking lot.

she quickly got out of the car and went to the side that hoseok sat in. she opened the door and she undid hoseok's seatbelt and made him step out of the car. she saw that hoseok was stumbling on his feet and that he was about to pass out so he quickly made hoseok sit back down on his car seat. she pulled her phone out and called for an ambulance.

"119, what is your emergency?"

"my son can't breathe! please come here quickly!"

"calm down, miss. what address are you at?"

"i'm at xxx!"

"we're sending an ambulance right toward your way but please stay with me until they get there. is your son still conscious?"

"yes but barely. he's trying to breathe but he says it's too hard. his brothers are worried please get here quick!" the mother feared this day so much. she saw herself cry while the operator kept talking to her. she didn't care if the other kids were there, she needed to let out her emotions or else she would've exploded. seeing her precious child having a hard time staying alive was heartbreaking. "keep trying, hoseokie. help is coming," she yelled at hoseok to make him alarmed. so he wouldn't sleep.

that was when she saw sirens entering the parking lot. she waved her hands so the ambulance could go to her. she saw that hoseok's eyes were shutting slowly, "hoseok, please," the mother said before everything went black. everything went blank and she couldn't hear anything. all she could see was hoseok growing weaker and weaker in her arms. his little heart was giving out. the mother felt herself being pushed and the paramedics tried to keep the boy alive. they did everything possible to help keep the boy alive until they arrived at the hospital.

all the chaos and yoongi was just there.

yoongi stood by himself as hoseok was dying. he felt himself growing into a heartbreak. he didn't want to lose hoseok so quickly, not at the age of fifteen. hoseok was too young to die. there was no way that yoongi could live without a hoseok in his life to brighten his day. he held his hand up to his chest as the paramedics did their work. once the paramedics put hoseok on a stretcher, the other three went inside the ambulance so they could go to the hospital together.
