ember was over at nate's house. after telling leslie about rue she needed to relax. they all decided to intervene tomorrow morning.

she couldn't be over long, she definitely was going to need her rest having to go against an angry rue tomorrow. leslie and ember had a private one on one conversation about gia.

ember felt like gia shouldn't be in the house while it goes down, but leslie didn't feel that way. but after some convincing, leslie decided if it gets really bad then ember will take gia to her car and they will go over to her place.

she was scared to say the least. ember has never seen rue angry and is not ready to see a whole different side of her.

but she is ready for whatever rue is going to say. if it is one thing she has learned in life, it is that drug addicts will say anything when they are pissed off.

ember was turning circles in nate's study chair while he was in the shower, they haven't done anything but he needed to shower since he had just gotten done working out.

she sighed and got up while walking around looking. she noticed how nate's room was so simple.. yet futuristic. like nate

she had found herself in his closet looking through his clothes and shoes. ember had found some cute pictures of nate when he was baby up until he was eight.

she noticed how his posture changed very quickly after eight. he looked so angry, so lost, so sad. she never understood how she has never seen this violent side of nate that jules and rue were warning her about.

she knew her girls weren't lying but she was so curious. ember had suddenly felt two tiny glass bottles. even on her tippy toes she was struggling but was able to grab them.

she quickly flipped them reading the labels which said fentanyl and xanax. ember shuddered immediately remembering her hospital visit

"the doctors said that they found fentanyl along with xanax in your body." rue said and this took her by surprise.

ember's head started to get fuzzy. she didn't want to believe it but the evidence was right there in her fucking face. and she was distraught

nate walked out of his bathroom wearing nothing but boxers and sweatpants. "ember what are yo-" he stopped dead in his tracks seeing what she had in her hands

"fuck...." he whispered.

ember was crying. "i have to go." she breathed throwing the two glasses onto his bed

nate quickly rushed over to her grabbing her arm, "ember wa-" she quickly snatched away from him as she had tears running down her face

"do not fucking touch me!!!" she pointed at him

nate knew he fucked up. ember never has cussed at him, he knew he was fucked. he just stood there silent.

"we are done." ember stated making nate's pupils dilate, he was saddened upon hearing those words.

"ember no please!!" he grabbed her arm again.

she sighed, "what damn it?!!" she yelled looking him in his eyes. she wanted him to see how hurt she was by this.

nate sighed, "i'm sorry ember i'm so fucking sorry." nate breathed. ember scoffed.

she looked around the room to see who nate was apologizing too. "you think some stupid apology is going-" ember laughed before going to pick up the two bottles

she charged at nate slamming both glasses to the ground. the glass shattered everywhere and some of the liquid feel onto nate's foot and ember's shoes.

"YOU THINK A STUPID ASS APOLOGY IS GOING TO FIX WHAT YOU DID!!!" ember yelled in rage but nate kept his composure and stayed calm.

"it's not damn it!!!" ember yelled again

nate yet again stayed quiet and this pissed ember off. even though he was much taller and stronger than her she pushed him hard, so hard that it actually moved him.

"you could have fucking killed me nate!!" ember cried out. nate shook his head.

"i would never. i gave you the right amount of milligrams needed to knock you off just for awhile." nate stated calmly which made ember scoff

"what the literal fuck is wrong with you?" ember asked. "i could have fucking died!" ember yelled in rage pushing nate again

"why the fuck did you do this to me?" ember asked but quickly shook her head, "you know what no don't even tell me, all you are gonna do is try to validate it." ember said

she stormed out of the jacobs resident, got into her car quickly speeding off and nate watched her from his window knowing everything is now ruined
