rue was laying upside down on her bed while listening to "trapped" by tupac. she was bopping to the beats and amazing lyrics by the goat.

not a single care in the world. she didn't have too much on her mind. it is like she was in a blanked state. no train of thought just sitting there vibing by herself.

she hasn't really been there mentally for the past week. if we are being honest she really hasn't cared about what has been going on around her.

it is like she is a helpless soul who is just... here but not in the right mind. nobody really noticed but gia since rue can hide it while at school.

and she lies to her mother telling her she is okay. but she isn't which crushes gia's heart.

speaking of her, she came into rue's room quietly standing in the door entry carefully speaking making sure not to scare her.

"rue?" gia called out making rue lift herself up and look at her. she raised her eyebrows gesturing as a "what?"

gia looked at her, "you okay?" rue quickly nodded. "yeah i'm good gia." she assured her

but gia wasn't buying it. she was really worried about her sister. she has lost the light she has had the past three months and it scares gia to death.

gia is terrified her sister is going to relapse or something soon if she doesn't figure out what is wrong and the thought of it makes her sick to her stomach.

she couldn't handle going back to fighting with her sister everyday. crying and wondering what she is doing wrong and why she is a horrible sister and why she led her sister to drugs.

the constant fighting seeing her mother and older sister not getting along; rue storming out and throwing things. gia quickly closed her eyes and thought about happy things.

she quickly opened them asking, "have you texted ember back? she has been asking about you constantly.

rue immediately answered with a "no."

gia was concerned, "rue you need too she is worried sick about you and she actually cares about you. she asks about you on a daily basis:" gia stated

rue rolled her eyes not trying to hear anything her little sister was saying right now.

"gia right now i need you to leave me the fuck alone and not try to assure me about ember when she physically isn't here alright?" rue stated in a calm but bitchy way

gia scoffed and quickly rolled her eyes slamming the door loud as hell. rue could care less she went back to what she was doing.

meanwhile on the other side of town, nate was in his room bored as fuck sitting at the edge of his bed. just looking out of the window staring at the bright blue sky.

he has been bored ever since ember left. he hasn't betrayed her or anything. nate has been minding his own business, for now at least...

jules was riding her bike around town. she has been spending most of her time at home with her father bonding with him.

he asked her to take a week away from rue to relax and focus on her schoolwork since she been slacking lately. honestly her dad isn't a huge fan of rue anymore.

not after the whole running away incident. he just felt like they both weren't good for each other, but he knew his daughter was going to have to make her own mistakes and learn that on her own.

but he loved ember. he noticed immediately how much a positive impact she has on jules. plus she is very much classy and responsible. he trusted ember to be around jules.

it seems like everyone parents loved ember. she really didn't noticed that much when she was here though.

bb took a hit of her vape before saying, "i miss that bitch." she said referring to ember while looking through lexi and cassie's closet

"don't we all bitch." maddy said while applying the dior lip gloss ember bought for her.

the gang didn't feel the same without ember's sweet presence. they definitely still had fun but her spirit was missed so much by them all.

lexi nodded her head in agreement while typing profousley. she was too focused on finishing up this play. it would be showing next year in february and she wanted, no needed it to be perfect.

she is having casting calls at the end of january, she was stoked when the assistant principal accepted it and allowed her to be able to put it on.

now even though ember was gone, she was still helping lexi out so much. designing flyers, getting the word out for her, so much cause she knew lexi couldn't do it on her own.

plus she loved helping her best friend out, she didn't mind it one bit. "she'll be back sooner than we think." kat said knowing these past two months are gonna fly by like colors

she was ready for her to get back. she missed her friend so much. kat recently has been going through depression behind closed doors. she feels so insecure with her relationship along with herself.

ethan is too damn perfect and good to be true for kat and she honestly doesn't even like him like that which makes her feel even more horrible because he is the sweetest ever.

he treats kat like a queen and always respects her and has loved her for who she truly is since day one. ember and maddy have told her to just talk to ethan.

but even they knew it wasn't as easy as it sounds. how the fuck are you supposed to sit there and tell someone who loves you that you don't love them back?

not as simple as it seems sadly. kat had no idea what she was going to do but she knew she had to come up with a plan quick and fast before she got ten times more depressed.

because she hates herself, along with the way she feels right about now.
